Aggie Theatre

I was just there for a show Friday.  The good....sound was great, band was FANTASTIC!

The bad...10-15 minutes (3 songs) to get a drink as they only had one of the bars open.  Midway through the show it was so HOT I am not sure how the band kept going but they did.  I have been to many small theatres and I am not sure I will be back to the Aggie.

Friendly staff.  Saw the EMINENCE ENSEMBLE from Boulder (I believe).

No Lines there, good sampling of music.  Nice to have them in this area of No Colorado so we can see many varied acts.

Definitely 4 stars.

Went for the Minus The Bear Concert. Seems like many of the other sort of dive-ish local music venues I have been and worked in. Overall the layout was good, got to see them up close which was great. Now the bad part. Now this could have been the bands sound engineers fault, but I think it was more the Aggie sound system. The highs were WAY too high, the vocals were washed out and the mix on the drums was all wrong. Obviously it made the concert experience less enjoyable with bad sound. Ill certainly go again however, but don't expect an audiophile experience.
