Coopersmith's has an amazing location, great atmosphere and a wide selection of beers. About five years ago, the vegetarian food was really good, but no longer. What's particularly disappointing is that their menu lists a "homemade black bean burger" and then the description again mentions that it's made right there. When I asked the waiter, he said it's not. Nice. I ordered a portabella sandwich that was soggy as a swamp. Coopersmith's poolside is great, but I think I'll go elsewhere for food.
Review Source:I had pretty low expectations for this place, if I'm being honest. I was expecting giant touristy brewpub with mediocre-at-best everything. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the food was pretty good, the beer was okay (not great, but okay), and the service was friendly. We sat o the patio, which was nice for people watching. Ordered some beer tasters (Kolsch and Hefe are nice if you're looking for a nice light beer, Punjabi Pale was pretty good although not super hoppy). Hubs had the Black and bleu burger , which was pretty amazeballs (love when a restaurant cooks a burger propertly), I had the Hobgobbler which was quite tasty. Service was friendly.
In conclusion - if you're in Fort Collins wandering around, and are looking for a place to grab some food and beers and relax for a bit, this is a great option!
