Unpretentious and down right good food. You don't come here for the decor or atmosphere, but for some awesome food. The lunch special a great deal at only $6.99 and it includes 3 different kinds of meat, falafel, rice, salad and pita bread! Guarantee to be full until dinner! Everything was nicely seasoned and full of flavor including the rice.
Review Source:Let's see. Decor, cute, but not fancy.
Prices: DC and Socal being my main frames of reference, this is dirt cheap
Service: pretty good (under new management)
Food: the kabob is to die for. In the 12 years I've spent in the US, visiting over 23 states and having tried kabobs at hundreds of places, I think these are the juiciest / most tender I've ever had. I'm Arab, so I know good Mediterranean food. I've only had the chicken, kafta, and kabob plate+ salad. In DC, the same plate would have cost $20-30, instead of $10 over here. And it wouldn't have been as good. So hail to this awesome gem. I'm definitely coming back next time I visit Chicago.
