I went with a friend and we were the only ones there on a Saturday (upstairs) a busy tourist day to say the least , Asked for chips and salsa and was told there are $5 for them , Really? Okay I got the chips and salsa and the salsa was straight from a bottle, The pico de gallo was pretty good.
Okay onto the food , I ordered a $13 burrito that was too small for the price and NO sides included, the filling was okay but it was lukewarm at best and covered in canned queso cheese(you can tell)
My friend ordered the combination taco plate:two tacos, one with ground beef and one with chicken . They came in preformed taco shells you can buy off the shelf at any store. The fillings were abysmal and hardly any food in them , a scoop of almost cold rice and canned black beans . all for $9
I hear the drinks are good but stay away from the food , this place fails on EVERY level in that department .
Oh and noticed the mens bathroom looked like a bathroom from a rest area , broken walls , no paper towels .Also they need to dust their ceiling fans , At least a 1/4 inch of dust on them , when you are the only people in a place you tend to notice details especially after paying a princely sum for crappy food.
We actually ate here. First mistake. We aren't from Portland, but the boy could have sworn his friend from Portland recommended the place (we later found out that was NOT true).
Anyway, the food was... food. The dining room was empty except for staff from the other part of the restaurant who kept coming over to drink at the bar. Also, it's weird for me when entrees at Mexican restaurants don't come with rice and beans. Just me?
