This has to be the worst Applebee's i have ever been in. I have been there 3 times with friends and every time it is awful. Something is always overcooked or undercooked. My favorite meal there is the crispy orange chicken. After screwing this up twice i decided no more i won't order it at this Applebee's again. Â So tonight i got the tilapia (dumb choice on my part) the vegetables were all burnt. Not overcooked but burnt. My wife ordered chicken fingers and they messed that up. How do you mess up chicken fingers. I will not be going back until something changes.
Review Source:This is a restaurant my family absolutely loves to go to when we're heading out for dinner. The atmosphere is very "sportsy, family, sit-down time." I have come to find they serve AMAZING long islands. This came as a shock to me because I was not expecting to be knocked off my feet. A lot of times long islands are made from a mix -- but this one, yes this one, was the real deal. Kudos to you, Applebee's.
As I mentioned in my previous post about Panera -- this is one restaurant that rarely disappoints from town to town. You can count on Applebee's to treat you and your group well.
Average food, average prices, average portions, consistently crowded...Add those qualities together and what do you get?
Applebee's.
The only item on the menu that even makes a trip to Applebee's worth it is their Strawberry Lemonade, but obviously, it would not be worth the wait just to get something to drink to go along with the "meh" food.
