Do yourself a favor and book Bob Artman for your event! I never expected to receive so many compliments on the Deejay and the music he played at our wedding reception. Our guests really enjoyed that he played everything from oldies to current hits.

Bob was great, very professional and seemed to understand the mood of the crowd. When we first met with him, he helped us create a timeline for our reception, which I was then able to use with our other vendors. He was more affordable than the larger companies and we got to meet with him directly, rather than a booking agent. This stayed true throughout our engagement and he was one of the easiest vendors to work with on our wedding day.

Found Bob through Yelp and hired him based on one stellar review and his great, cost-effective price for our 1970s themed disco party. Bob was wonderful -- his setup took 20 minutes max and he was calm, cool and professional. He played everything on our must play list, listened happily to our requests about turning the music down when grandparents asked and was an excellent master of ceremonies for our costume contest. His announcements throughout the night were great -- not cheesy at all. He has a nice voice on the mic and is a true professional. He loves what he does -- loves music -- you can totally tell. He lipsyncs along to the songs he loves and its infectious :) Happy to have worked with Bob and will definitely consider using him again for a party where we need a great DJ.

I interviewed two DJs that my wedding planner recommended, and I chose Bob over the other guy because he seemed very relatable, cool, organized, and like he really cared about my event. And it turns out I read him right: he was all those things!

He's such a pro that even though I booked him about six months in advance, he didn't really need to know many details until about one or two weeks before the wedding. I gave him information about our wedding - timeline, playlists, audio needs, etc. - and he just made it all work!

He also emceed the night and I loved how he was very low-key about it. He informed people about what was going on, provided smooth transitions between events and did exactly what we wanted him to do.
