Jacalito Grill

I was in the mood for some peruvian chicken and decided to give this place a try.  And let's be honest, when I say peruvian chicken, I really mean the sauce that comes on the side.

Jacalito's was good.  The chicken was moist... not as flavorful as I would have hoped, but again, this is where the sauce is supposed to play it's part.  The yucca was great!  I'd go back and order just a side of yucca.  The platanos/maduros were also very good, though I had no use for the side of sour cream they serve with them.

The sauce?  Eh.  The green was spicy... definitely had a kick, great on the white meat section of chicken The white and yellow sauces?  They weren't bad.

Overall, no complaints,and I'll definitely stop by again.

This casual restaurant sells Tex-Mex food such as tacos, fajitas, burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, carne asada, rotisserie chicken, and flan. I usually get take-out for home, but I have eaten in at one of their many tables before. Prices are reasonable. Cashiers are nice. Tables and bathrooms are clean. You can sit and watch their TV while you wait for your food to be done cooking, but wait times are not too long. Catering is available.

Food was really good... the rice wasn't the best, but the actual entries were great!  Will definitely go back again.
