Letter P:
This is my favorite lunch spot near my work! Â It's funny because the first time I tried it, I was searching for pizza on Yelp, and this was one of the best in the area. Â I tried their pizza, and it was better than average pizza although nothing exceptional. Â Apparently, the reason it came up on the pizza search was that it used to be a pizza place, but I realized it was a now a pita place! Â I definitely wanted to go back to try one of the pitas.
About two weeks later, I went back a second time and got a pita. Â It was incredible! Â I never went back to getting a pizza. Â I now normally get the Gyro. Â Sometimes I get the Steak & Chicken or Steak & Cheese. Â You cannot go wrong here no matter what you get. Â If you are a hummus fan, which I'm not, Nicole from work says she loves their hummus, and it is her favorite restaurant as well. Â I've been with a lot of people from work, and everyone I've talked to at least likes this place if not loves it.
A lot of times I make my pita a combo for $2.49 more with chips & a drink. Â They have a good variety of bottled drinks including sodas, Nantucket Nectar, Arizona Ice Teas, Gold Peak Sweet Tea, and much more. Â I also like the Route 11 potato chips. Â Often, I won't eat the chips with the meal but will save it for a day I bring my more mediocre lunch.
5 stars for having one of the best falafel pita sandwiches that i have ever tasted.
- 3 stars for being so hard to find [it's wedged in between auto shops and granite countertop suppliers in an industrial park wasteland]
4 stars for making some mighty fine homemade yogurt with the options of plain, honey, strawberries, or for the totally crazy - honey & strawberries!!
- 4 stars for having no chairs or tables to sit at while eating or simply waiting for your order.
2.5 stars for the rest of the sandwiches that they serve here.
- 3.75 stars for not serving me a side of fresh fruit in my combo meal, especially considering that the sign expressly stated that the combo meal comes with a choice of either a bag of chips or one piece of fresh fruit. TOTAL liars!!!! the chips weren't bad though.
4.25 stars for baking their own bread right on the premises.
-3.075 stars for making such a mediocre garden salad.
1.925 stars for selling a variety of Honest Teas.
-3.85 stars for selling plastic bags for their carry out orders and not recycling the plastic bottles.
3.9999989 stars for the cheese pizza
- .9999919 stars for the attitude that the kid gives me when i make my order at the check out.
.99993 stars for being open in Springfield, VA.
- 1.0000000009 stars for not being open on the weekend.
.0000000009 stars for me just being generous for the sake of being generous. Â
