Tippy's Taco House

I had their steak tacos. They were small but delicious. Not the best tacos in the area but not the worse. Definitely worth a try if your near Brookfield Plaza or on Backlick.

Pretend it's not there!  Although I've frequented it over the years and rate it a notch over Taco Bell... don't even think of this as Mexican, TexMex or even Southwestern eats! All the stuff is edible, but nothing to write home about. Better than McD's though.

My wife and I were car shopping until about 7:30 the other night and wanted to grab something quick to take home.  Car shopping sucks the life out of you.  We decided on tacos so I did a quick search on yelp for nearby Mexican and Tippy's was one of the choices.  After reading the reviews we decided it was good enough for what we were looking for.  

The place was quaint and clean and everyone was friendly and helpful.  We decided on the taco kit, which includes 12 hard shells, two flat, round shells should you desire to make a Mexican pizza, a bag of tortilla chips, meat, refried beans, cheese, tomatoes and lettuce.  We also purchased some guac, hot sauce and salsa.  The kit is obviously designed so that you can construct your own tacos.  They weren't the best tacos that we've ever eaten, but we werent expecting that to begin with.  It was fast, convenient and cheap.  You can't beat $13 for 12 tacos with fixings to spare.  We will definitely go back if we are in the area.
