There are many places to get Chinese food in and around Springfield, but Panda Cafe is one of the best. Â I usually order Kung Pao Chicken and steamed Vegetable Dumplings, but everything I've had there is very good. Â The staff is very friendly, the prices reasonable, and they cook the food in a flash. Â Check it out!
Review Source:I only eat Chinese food from two restaurants: Panda Cafe in Springfield and Hunan D'Lite in Woodbridge. They both have good food at great prices. I'm talking about 7-9 bucks per order that can feed around 3-4 people, that tastes good and leaves you full. What more could anyone ask for?...
I order delivery from Panda about 2-3 times a month and it never gets old. There are so many dishes that I've ordered and I will try to recommend as many as I can remember:
Appetizers:
The only appetizer I order from Panda are the Crab Rangoon. They are crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside.
Soups:
The Hot & Sour Soup is delicious and has a hint of spiciness to it. Guaranteed to order two small soups for my parents, they love it.
Entrees:
The Fried Rice and Lo Mein are good no matter how you order it (beef, chicken, pork, shrimp or combination). I prefer the Chicken Fried Rice with egg and onion without the peas and carrots.
The Lo Mein and Singapore Rice Noodle are so good that they taste even better the next day cold.
The Chicken Wings are also good and are made crispy and are still juicy on the inside.
The Chicken & Broccoli and Beef & Broccoli are delicious as well.
The Moo Shi Beef or Chicken is also good, has lots of veggies (cabbage, mushrooms, green onions) and is my fathers favorite.
The Seafood Delight is also delicious and has lots of veggies as well that go well with the lobster, shrimp and scallops.
Anyone of their Steak & Cheese renditions will fill you up and my favorite has to be the Steak, Egg and Cheese.
The Chicken Wing Special is by far the best dish here, simply because it includes Four whole jumbo wings and either french fries or fried rice to go with it for around 8 bucks and can feed two. And for about $1.50 more you can get the Fried rice with chicken, beef, shrimp or pork.
Now, to end a perfect meal with any of the above mentioned items, and considering they do not have desserts, I would suggest getting the Orange chicken (sweet and delicious) or the General Tso's chicken (sweet with a little bit of spice).
I know this was a long review but I suppose it'll help someone make a decision on what to order much easier. I hope you enjoy eating at Panda Cafe, I know I have...
Had the lunch "buffet". The food was ok. I got the crispy chicken and General Tso's chicken. Â Thecrispy chicken was good, but got too sweet the more I ate it. The General Tsos chicken was very tough and impossible to chew. The sauce was food though. Â I've had worse and I've had better. The lady working the counter just looked at me and getting her to talk was like pulling teeth. Not really the best customer service.
