This food is fresh, healthy, inexpensive AND tasty. I ate the half and half (half chicken, half beef) veggie bowl with brown rice. The meat was delicious and came with a teriyaki sauce. Portion size was generous enough for leftovers. The staff is super friendly and took the time to explain the menu and quality of the meat. This is a chain that is big in California and they are now opening new sites in VA. I am excited to go back soon!
Review Source:I've been here at least 4-5 times. Â I can only review the chicken teriyaki bowl. Â Overall, I'm not a big fan of their food. Â I found the taste to be bland. Â One really needs to load their bowl with teriyaki sauce. Â Some of the pieces of chicken tasted too gamy. Â On one occasion, the rice was too soggy. Â There is no excuse for not cooking rice correctly, especially in an Asian restaurant!! Â The prices aren't bad. Â You can get 2 bowls for about $10. Â Kids get a discount on Tuesdays. Â I think they are really trying to reach out for business. Â
Sarku Japan, which used to be in Springfield Mall, was a hundred times better than this. Â There is another one similar to Sarku in Potomac Mills which is just as good.
