Stopped in just to try out the pizza. Â It's hard to find good pizza around here. Â Pretty sad when costco has the best! Â Anyway, the pizza was very good. Â I just had one slice of cheese only. Â For those who like variety on their pizza, Uncle Charlie's had at least 8 different varieties ready to sell by the slice. Â This was at lunchtime during the week, so I can't vouch for slower time. Â Based on the pizza and other reviews, we plan to go back and try some items from the rest of the menu. Â Maybe even breakfast for the French toast.

Visiting with my parents for the holidays, we were looking for pizza on yelp and came across Uncle Charlie's. We ordered a large pizza with meatball and peppers, not really knowing what to expect. It was good - ready in about twenty minutes for pick up.
I cannot comment on the interior, since there was no one there on a Saturday night around eight and we got it to go.
It is a New York style pizza - thin but not crispy crust and a large pie with large slices. Flavorful but nothing to rush out and get.
I've order from this place numerous times.
The area that is located is a very odd place, the chances of you spotting this is very rare. The day my friends and I found this place, we were amazed by pizza, subs AND breakfast.
The steak and cheese is amazing, filled with plenty of toppings and well constructed sub. The cheese was slacking but overall a great sub.
The cheeseburger sub was kinda plain and lacking meat. When I asked for extra meat, they clearly made up for it.
The Garlic knots are freaking amazing and a deal.
The french fries were above average and addicting
Their pizza is pretty good. Thick crust with a thin bottom. Not a lot of cheese(which I don't like) but a great pizza. The pizza sauce is a unique sweet sauce. I typically HATE sweet sauce for pastas or pizzas but their sauce is a exception.
The sician(?) pizza is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Extra cheese on it and it is perfect.
The French Toast is the BEST I've ever had and I continue to say it is the best French Toast you can find in this area.
The staff is nice and incredible. I usually ask for extra french toast by using a combo meal and substituting it with extra toast instead.
I also always ask them to call before arriving. They have not ONCE not called and the one time they did, it was my fault and somehow he knew when to walk up to the door.
---------------
My review of the new menu. The new menu looks amazing. A bunch of new items. I didn't know where to start and hadn't ordered in awhile but the day after the new menu was released, i had to call my uncle Charlie for some food. I got the chicken steak and cheese, new york style cheesecake pancakes, garlic knots, fries and onion rings.
The chicken steak and cheese did NOT include steak. That was the only disappointing thing about it. The construction of the sub was solid. No toppings fell off. It should be called 'shredded chicken and cheese" to not be misleading but the sub made up for it. It's one of their best.
The french fries were oven baked(it seems). A little dry but well seasoned and not plain at all.
The onion rings were nice, very well done.
The garlic knots  were not as good as they used to be. I ordered the day after and if the knots recipe is different now, I wouldn't order it again. The original knots were fluffy, undercooked and less greasy.  I'm sure this was just a one time mistake.
The new york style cheesecake pancakes were amazing. You get a choice of toppings on top. I had it with no butter and blueberries. By far a improvement from their regular pancakes. I like that pancake more than any mainstream house of pancakes. Fluffy, flavorful and delicious.
Overall, you MUST try this place once, get a sub, get a pizza or pancakes/french toast. You will be satisfied
