Okay, Been to Murphy's a number of times. have read some of the reviews.
Truth:
Food is ave. Some thing higher. Sunday brunch good can be a line if you don't arrive close to ten. good beer selection, full bar.
Staff is great and work hard busy place. Â
Now if you really want to experiance Murphy's as Murphy's you neeed to go at night and not for trivia (some say it is fun). If you want to make sure you have a seat Fri/Sat be in by 8:30pm.
Musice startes 8:30-9:00pm (kids OK for first set) Iyou have to stay very interactive with crowd and stay until at least the end of the second set. If you don't like it then you are not ment for Murphy's no big deal. I have always found it to be a great time and the people friendly from the first time I came in.
PS: They have a singer named Pat Carroll he rocks (in an Irish Bar song sing along way) place will be busy
