The food was great! Â The service was great! Â However, it was way overpriced for lunch, and for the portion size. Â I don't mind paying a lot for great quality, I eat at a lot of high-end restaurants. Â But, for a lunch the price was too much. Â I've read they have a great happy hour, and perhaps that is where the deal is at. Â Restaurant was nicely decorated, clean and new. Â Staff was wonderful. Â I wish I could have tried their happy hour.Review Source:
The food was exquisite! I had calamari and seared salmon filet, covered with sesame seeds, which came paired with jasmine rice and two sauces - one being pesto, the other a sweet, cream based sauce. Boo had hangar steak which came in a barbecue sauce. It was partnered with a mac & cheese so rich that even he didn't finish his food, and this cornfed Ohio boy was raised to always clear his plate. As an FYI, both the steak and pasta were spicy, which I don't believe was mentioned in the description of the dish.
Their drinks were pretty damn fantastic (we tried the red wine sangria and I also had a martini). Service was on par with what you'd expect from a swanky restaurant. The live jazz band coupled with the upscale ambiance made for hands-down one of the most romantic dates I've ever been on.
