Aurelios Pizza

We ordered a thin crust pizza as well as a "calabrese" (ie calzone). My husbands thin crust pizza was "good", but my calabrese was anything but good. The dough was raw in places, the fresh tomatoes were yellow and tasteless. We also ordered mozzarella sticks, which were lukewarm and not crispy at all.

I called the store to complain, and I was told that the Bolingbrook location doesn't have a deep fryer, so they ovenbaked the sticks. And the manager I talked to also confirmed that he had been worried that my pizza might have been raw in places. Makes you wonder why he didn't check it better and have the staff make a new one. We got a $20 credit for the hassle, which we later used to buy a single pizza and we will not be using Aurelio's again.

LOVE THIS PIZZA!  For a pizza chain this place is the bomb!  The pizza is one of a kind.
