Axis Nightclub in Santa Clara, CA. had a Studio 47 Reunion 6/22/13, the invite stated doors open at 9pm, we arrived at 9:45 and stood in line for 30 minutes before they finally started letting people in. The line moved very slow. The Manager's and security appeared unorganized. We grew tired of waiting for them to get it together and left. Some reunion, I don't remember having to wait in line that long at any club in San Jose. Maybe they wanted people to think it was worth standing in line to get in.
Thumbs down to Axis for making folks wait.

Really disappointed Country Thursdays at AXIS are cancelled. That being the only reason I would go to this club, I don't see myself going back. Bring back Country Thursdays!!

    Still...NO.

So I realize that this update is only ten days after my first review...and it didn't seem likely I'd be back. But against my better judgment that same friend persuaded me try again. Plus the owner wrote me a message saying my first experience was likely an isolated incident, and to give it a second chance. Well, sorry guy, not an isolated incident, Axis just sucks.

So my friend was all excited that some dude named Donovan was going to DJ. She loves his music and got a bunch of us to go. We were all on the guest list. We showed up at about 10:15 to make sure we got in free. When we arrived there was a comedy show going on inside (couldn't hear anyone laughing) and they wouldn't let us in. Then when the club decided it was ok for people to enter they let in about 20 people from the bottle service line and stopped for about 20 minutes. So at this point its pretty much 11. Then a group of 5 cute girls in short dresses show up, they obviously get in immediately. Then its our turn. We were first on the guest list line, and the only people who got in off of the guest list. Everyone behind us, even though they got there right after us, well before the cut off, had to pay $20 each. Ridiculous.

So we get in. The place is empty. The DJ playing at this point was awful and no one was dancing.

At around 12 Donovan gets on and actually he was pretty good, but he has nothing to do with Axis, he's a guest DJ. By this point the club had more people and there were a bunch of people dancing. But the dance floor still wasn't even half filled. For some reason though everyone kind of clumped into one area and kept bumping us. So we moved to an open area finally.

The club itself was as lame as last time. Plus two fights broke out. Everyone who worked there still took themselves way too seriously. You're in the middle of nowhere in Santa Clara, not in Vegas, not even in SF. Your club is ugly.

At this point I am definitely not going back. Don't waste your time or money on this awful spot.

I went there with a group of friends and it was a big waste of time! The music sucks and the drinks are even worse. I think they water down the drinks in order to make more money. If you like sleazy, wannabe owners giving you dirty looks because you are with a good looking girl, then this is the place for you!

I really like this place. Specially because i am done driving and drinking too far or have someone else drive me around if they re not giong to drink. I live in sunnyvale and often go to this club. the music is great. The bar is good and the people are nice too. Not too shady. The bouncers are a little uptight on people who are sober too they feel everyone messes around even the one s. its pretty close to my house and hence very convenient. They have a burrito truck right outside which is brilliant.   The only thing i dont like about this place is the Cover. Otherwise overall the place is good, just opened so def picking up and the music is decent too. Cheers to this not far at all hangout.

Went here for NYE. The music was good and the bartenders were friendly. $10 for top shelf drinks. The part that was disappointing is they originally didn't want to serve my friends and I champagne. $40 cover didn't buy us anything really... they didn't want to give us party favors (VIP only) and no champagne. It's NYE! They stated that they weren't selling champagne by the glass. Really? So I asked how much for a bottle ... $100. You're joking. Finally, some magic happened and they agreed to sell us a glass for $5 each. Glad we were able to toast at midnight, but seriously put a bad taste in my mouth. Not sure if I would go back after that.

I'll give 4 stars for great parking, spacious dance floor, and location being away from the crowded, noisy area. I didn't get bump by other people dancing and didn't need to fight my way to the restroom... and no long wait  just to pee. This is a local club not vegas, so wasn't expecting a high-end  club when I stepped inside. The music is good, overall not a bad experience.

Hmmm what can I say about a night I honestly wish I could somewhat erase. =P I like how they have places you can sit your little tush. For women we need this kind of thing wearing heels all night isn't always an easy task. hahahaha
But came here with the girl friends for a night filled of fun on Halloween. What can I say but the bartender was great what was his name again George I believe.
Ambiance was good not too dark not too bright. I don't remember what type of Genre they were playing but I know I wasn't on the dance floor most of the night. Too much talking and drinking guess, Meet a couple off cool people. You know a few cops no I didn't get arrested it was Halloween remember lol and this guy who said he was dressed as meet joe black =P The only thing I do not like about this place is the price for alcohol $10 for a vodka redbull seriously!??? OH and not to mention Bouncers who kick you out of the club if they think your wasted in this case I WASNT. One star for places to sit and 2nd star for the bartender.

Three (3) visits later I finally feel that I am in a position to give you my 411 on this venue.

The first (1st) time I was here was to keep a friend of mine company while he DJed. They first had the DJ at a booth. My friend tells me, "this is a DJ worse nightmare." The night started and continued slow. My first impression was, "I don't think this spot is going to be a huge hit at this rate." I guess at that time, no one really knew about this spot opening 'til 4A in the morning. (Yep, it's the official afterhours spot) I decided to hold off on the review on Yelp and decided to give in a few more chances. Afterall, they just opened this spot up not too long ago.

My second (2nd) and third (3rd) visit was done all in one week. I was booked by the DJs and promoters for both evenings to cover this spot.

(This is where the real review comes in...) Getting here is real easy and simple. It's right off the freeway. Just make right turn 2-3 times and you're there. The parking lot is a small for a venue that large, but there are plenty of parking spaces on the street surround this place.

There are two doors for the entrance. One for Bottle service and one for regular admission. The most lit area is probably the main hall, when you first enter. The rest of the venue, it very dark (a photographers worse nightmare). The main room is located on the right. It has a very large dance floor and a long bar. If you walk further into the dance floor, you will find booths for bottle service and such. There are dance floor light. The DJ booth, this time, is not moved to a more appropriate area, near the windows.

Walk across the dance floor and into a corner, there is a hallway where the bathrooms are located at. The restrooms are fairly small and not very up-kept. You can always expect a queve at the restrooms. (Because of this, I actually use the restroom when I get there and don't drink throughout the whole night to prevent urges... I hate lines)

If you follow the hallway, it will lead you to another room which is even darker. Another bar is set up here on the left. This area also connects to the patio where people can come out for fresh air and a smoke.

If you walk further, it will lead you to the darkest room of the three (3). It is has a low LED light which lights up the entire room red. There you will find a fire place which probably makes the hottest room to be in in the entire venue. Also, another bar is set up here and somehow they manage to cram a DJ booth in the small room.

Walk pass that room, you will be lead to another set of restrooms and back to the entrance. (A big donut)

The venue is pretty big so you'll find that the rooms are usually not completely filled. Which is great in my opinion: I'm not crazy about packed like sardines at a nightclub.

They try to enforce the House music genre there in the main dance floor, the other floors would provide hip-hop and top 40... and another a more deep house tracks. It all depends who is promoting the night of.

Alcohol was surprisingly light. What usually gets me twisted by 12A, I was sober the entire time there. If I didn't know any better, I think they watered down their alcohols. Let's just say, I recommend you to pre-drink before you head in.

The staff are alert and friendly. They're very sociable and often smile if you smile at them. Well, they do to me =)

It is a great spot if you want to party after 2A. Music is always playing. Occasionally they would shut down the venue early because it's too slow. (And when I say early, I mean 3A. LOL) Otherwise, it's not your most classiest spot to party.

Advice: I think so major renovation needs to be done here. They still have the Peppermill sign outside. Hopefully when they make enough money, they can throw down some moola and fancy the spot up. I think this spot has potential of bringing classiness =)

Ok place to have parties at. I like how the patio area is big and how they have two separate rooms. The music was ok too all house music. This is the only place that is close to where I live .

    Dang, so many bad reviews...

I've heard about this place here and there, and finally got a chance to come here for BPM Thursday's to see John Beaver. Didn't quite know what to expect considering there's not really a 'nightlife' in Sunnyvale/Santa Clara. Plenty of parking at this place which is very good. Took forever to find the entrance however (street side of building, people!)...

This place is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO small. 3 different rooms, and are all SUPER tiny. The main room wasn't anything special.. the setup was poorly done! I found it pretty ridiculous that one of the rooms was for 21+ ONLY which is WEIRD because we all pay the same amount, but 21 under peoples are restricted to hear some music?!?!?! (I'm 24 by the way, just sayin').

Outside smoking is a elbow fighting zoo. No room to move or enjoy a cig in peace.

Drink prices are WEIRD. shots are $9.50... or at least that's what I was charged.

Can't really hate the event I went to because I had a lot of fun. Went for the music, not the venue, but I had to share my opinion about this 'club' (LOL).

I stayed next door at the Embassy Suites this past weekend. Standing outside in the parking lot, I could hear the sounds pumping from within Clue Axis; which by the way is the site of the old Peppermill restaurant.

Being the nosy person I am, I headed over to meet the sounds.  Walking into the main doors, I noticed two things right a way. The music never change from the beat of house.  Secondly, NO diversity.  A youthful crowd of about a dozen is all that was there on a Friday night at 11:00 pm - Sad.

I'd never go out of my way to hang out or party here.  And if I were I betting man, I'd bet the club won't last too long.

It's an OK club. Although like us, I suggest you arrive buzzed. lol

Couple of my girls and I hit Club Axis for Tribal Theory, Mango Kingz and Cali-Hi yesterday for a night of fun (and a post bday celeb for me hehe ;p).  It wasn't hard to find and there was plenty of parking space although I'm not sure if that will be the same case say it was The Green or J-Boog performing that night lol.. No lines and it was easy breezy getting in. Inside it wasn't at all jam-packed, kinda nice to have a lil breathing/dancing room and I hafta say I like the lighting, just enough to see people and not the moles on their faces lol

The performances were freaking off the hook.  I'm a fan of Tribal Theory but wasn't at all too familiar with Mango Kingz and Cali-Hi before last night but they were all just amazing.  Great dancing tunage and awesome vibes! Sound system was great and the DJs cool, especially DJ David and DJ Eni!

What's a girls night out without drinks? So, after hella trips to the bar and downing I-can't-even-remember number of vodka/crans, I've come to the conclusion that Club Axis has a bunch of the nicest bartenders around. I half-wished though I wasn't that faded so I could've remembered their names and given them a s/o but oh well, they know who they are! ;p They were all professional and very friendly, had a smile on their faces, acknowledged you while you're waiting and of course free drinks for the birthday girl and her hotties! =)

With the heat from the club and sweat from all the dancing, we trooped to the back patio area to get some fresh air.  On the way to the back was another bar, a dancing and lounging area which I found that I liked more coz it was way cooler hehe.

It was a fun night.  Island Sol productions never fail to deliver (s/o to Jesse!) when it comes to bringing the island vibes to the bay.

    Stay irie! m/

I don't normally review non-food establishments, but when I do it's because this place is a joke.

Decor: Minimal. There are three rooms with different music played in each room. The main room consists of a small stage and a DJ booth set up. There were some pretty cool lights, but that may have been the two AMF's I downed. The second room has a ton of seats where I assume is where people get bottle service. It has a kind of Vegas vibe to it, which I think should replace the whole venue. The third room resembles a kind of garage.. There's a dj and some oddly placed chairs that surround a bare dancefloor. I believe this is where most of the people roll hard...

Ambience: It's basically a small rave with teenagers - lots of them (18+). There is absolutely no dress code here. Teens wear those ridiculous furry boots, bandanas, fishnet stockings, and etc. I even saw lightshows being given. Obviously, this is NOT your typical "club", if you even want to call it that. Also, don't be fooled by all the people in the smoking area because that's most of the people in the club.

Charges: $10 without tip for an AMF in a plastic cup (smaller than your average red Dixie cups). NOT worth it, especially since there is a $10 cover regardless of sex and what time you come in.

Don't come here expecting a Vegas or even downtown San Jose-like clubbing experience. If anything come when you're in need of a good laugh, you'll see firsthand how ridiculous this "club" really is.

I've been to this spot twice now, both on Saturdays, and both for House/Electric venues. After the first night, I would have given this place 4 stars. They were spinning electronic in all 3 rooms, and the place was pretty well packed although this place is more roomy than the other house venues in the south bay. The second time I went I had even higher hopes, but it ended up feeling like a high school - scratch - junior high school dance. A few people on the edges, looking but not wanting to dance. It was pretty empty, although the smaller room with the booths had some people in there listening to hip-hop. That was a 2 star night. It's close enough that I'd go back, but it wasn't a great enough experience that I feel like I need to go back.

If you want to be frustrated, annoyed, and ripped off come here!

The only reason for not giving a one star rating is Alex, the manager. He was as accommodating as he could be despite all the bullshit rules and restrictions. Do they not want people here having a good time?

I bought bottle service for crissakes. FIVE BOTTLES! And, I ended up buying another one near the end of the night. Doesn't that afford me more than 20 wristbands and 20 tickets for my guests? I made reservations about a week in advance and it seemed like smooth sailing. I even told the owner that I was expecting 50+ people. However, when I get there, no accommodations were made. He didn't even set up a guest list for me. He refused my request and basically told me it was hassle to have to flip through pages. I didn't think anything of it, until it clicked the night of that the responsibility then fell on me, not them, to pass out tickets and make sure my guests were taken care of. Ummm, isn't that your job? .

Also, the hip hop DJ sucks! Granted, he played three out of the five songs I requested.  However, the music was slow and obscure. Shit, if you're not going to play 90s shit, at least do top 40.

I'll go elsewhere for my partying needs.

    STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!

    Here is why.

-Lets start by getting there, its not too far off hwy 101 which deserves a half star.

-Getting in feels like im going to prison, not that I have been there, but the security really does not know how to treat customers properly.  Word of advice, upper management, your customers attitude and vibe begin at the front of the house and if you have your staff treat them rude and disrespectful, their attitude will carry into the club with it. Minus 2 stars

-Once inside, the place is pretty spacious, probably due to the fact there wasnt really anybody there. They have a decent patio area and the red lounge area is ok. And getting a drink is relatively easy. Another half star.

-The drinks, however, are small and the bartenders have a short 3 second pour count, probably advised from the upper management.  Lets not forget about that Las Vegas price tag for the drinks.  Im not a cheap ass, I will fork over money for drinks that provide other value inside a bar or nightclub, this place has very little value if none at all. Minus 2 stars

Overall, I can not recommend this place to anyone, nor will I ever take anyone to Axis. I know there isnt many choices to do things in the south bay, but certainly STAY AWAY FROM AXIS.

Saw Common Kings and Rebel Souljahz here for Island Sol's Aloha Friday #14. The venue is cool and the service was great but there were a few communication issues, they didn't let people in until an hour after the advertised start time, and the biggest problem... the main room was RIDICULOUSLY HOT! I swear it was like a damn sauna! We had 1 of only 2 VIP rooms in the main area and the windows were fogged up and dripping with all the moisture from the heat! We all were drenched in sweat and it felt icky as f*ck!

As far as communication goes, we originally reserved 1 table with bottle service and were told it comes with 5 tickets. When we got there, they didn't have our 5 tickets and it caused some confusion getting in. We got it squared away but not before several groups of people who were in line behind us had already got in with no problems. Also, we agreed to buy an extra bottle so we could get the VIP room, but I wasn't told prior that they'd add a $100 gratuity to the tab. Despite that, the service was great! They were alwas checking in on us and bringing refills of whatever we needed.

I can understand the ticket confusion since it's not an in-house event, but the late start, the insane heat, and the unexpected gratuity was a total downer. Another thing I'm a little concerned about was the bottles we got. I'm allergic to most hards and I'll usually get an instant reaction regardless of how good or bad the reaction is. I took several shots of the patron silver and I didn't feel a thing! Normally I'll at least turn red with slight throat swelling, but this time nothing. Could have been a fluke but even my friends, who always gets there drink on, didn't have much of a reaction to it. the peach ciroc was absolutely awesome though!

I'll definitely return for other ISLAND SOL events, but I can't honestly give them a better rating just based off of the total experience. Maybe next month they'll get a better review from me! I hope! 8)

After coming to this club a few times to check it out and listen to the music as well as pretty much support my friend, Dynamix, who brings in the DJs / Entertainment to this club (i.e. Shortkut, Qbert, DJ Alvin, etc.), I decided to celebrate my birthday here.  WOW, big mistake....but if it wasn't for Dynamix and the DJs that I knew that would be spinning there that night, I would have changed my whole birthday celebration location in a heartbeat!

First off, after having decided to hold my celebration there, I was referred over to the person who handles VIP Bottle Service.  So I send that individual an email, I believe his name is Alex, to confirm bottle service for the night.  By the way, when you send an email stating that this is to "confirm" bottle service for a particular date and what are the details, to me, that is a confirmation.  Well, the response I received was ridiculous.  It basically didn't make sense and appeared that he really didn't read my email let alone know what the club was doing for that night because unbeknownst to him, there was not going to be any cover charge that night and the room that we were actually going to be in happened to be the smaller room with the fire place.  Can you say uninformed????

So the day finally arrives for my birthday celebration.  We arrive at the door and I see my friends standing outside unable to come in.  There were two young ladies standing there with a list of names and telling everyone there is a private party there tonight, they've rented out the whole club, and we cannot come in.  WTH!!!!  The bouncers had no idea what was going on, all 50 of them!!!!  LOL  (Talk about a club over run with bouncers, on a good night, that's all you see are bouncers!)  Apparently, the owner of the club booked a private party and I guess decided not to let anyone know????!!!!!  (Even though copies of flyers were blasted over the social networks promoting this club.)  WTF!

With all that confusion, we were able to contact my friend, Dynamix.  Once again, Dynamix to the rescue!!!!  He helped to clear the confusion up and made sure myself and all my guests got in without any further problem.  He even helped to call the right people over to our table and get the bottle service situated.

Regarding bottle service:   the waitress assigned to our table was good to a certain degree and maybe because she added the 20% tip for the bottle service which was paid upfront.  In a word, she was very attentive and to some degree, overly attentive to the point of annoying even when not being asked for something.  With all the people seated at my table and taking pictures and greeting each other, there really was no need for her to hover or be around; we didn't need any extra bodies.  As the night progressed though, I would have to say she became scarce since it took three requests for her to finally provide the table with water and when my cousin requested for her to bring out the cake, which never happened, my cousin finally had to go get it herself.

Like some other reviewers said, this place has a lot of potential, but the people running it....are they "novice"????  Do they not know how to communicate????  Can they get a bar that has a better selection of beer and maybe even be able to make a Mojito????  What bar / club can't make a Mojito???  One of my guests, who use to be part of one of the hottest clubs in downtown San Jose was even there for that night and I was truly embarrassed that he had to see a club so disorganized.  To say the least, a couple of my other friends who came to check it out and possibly thought to have a party there too, have now decided to go somewhere else.

I would love to give this place more stars, but I don't think I could bring myself to do that given my experience on such a special day for me!  If I could give individual stars, this is how it would look like:

Music (Dynamix and Crew and all the entertainment he brings to that venue):  5 stars, loved it!  Had me grooving pretty much all night.

Food:  4 stars....oh so yummy!!!!  Kudos to the chef!!!!

There's a lot of potential but still there is something just not right here.  First off the positives.  Good parking situation, the drinks are somewhat inexpensive.

#1 The crowd.  Not much diversity and it seems like a younger crowd.  Like REAL young

#2 Music.  I have been a few times, it's been mostly hip hop.  They must've changed djs 3-4 times during the night, none of them particularly shined.  Heard the same songs a few times.  I wouldn't mind so much, but they weren't popular songs.

#3 Ambiance:  Its got plenty of space, but the bigger room has too much space, the sound system is nice but I have yet to see anyone dancing there the whole night.  The red room with the fire pit is nice and seems to have the best vibe.  Outdoor area is nice.  I read about table service but I didn't see anyone sitting at tables.

#4 Staff:  No real problems with the staff except maybe the door people.  I waited in line a little bit.  It felt like the door people with the guestlist were friends or family of management or something.  They weren't organized and had to go find somebody before they could figure out if someone was on the guestlist or not.  You really shouldn't have a line at the door if there's no one inside.

In my general "I have been to just about every club in the south bay" opinion, this place needs to step it up.  there's potential here, but it's all about the details.  In general, I think they need to up their game in entertainment.  This is going to be a destination location.  Bring in bigger name djs for their Friday and Saturday nights (even if its a lot of the SJ regulars).  Their after hours djs are awesome (for the house heads).

I was excited to hear about a new club night in the South Bay.  Saturday night until 4am and Mark Farina, Harry Who?, Rick Preston and other good talent booked for the opening night.  Wasn't too keen on the bottle service and the what not, but I've been to other "cluby clubs" to hear good music before.  So long as they have a good sound system and good djs, I will have a good time.  There usually are cool peeps found around the speakers at these kind of nights with shiny shirt d bags in the back trying to look pretty.

I went with a carload of house music enthusiasts and got there before 11 to avoid the cover.  We went with a positive attitude looking for a night of dancing to good house.  A long line to get in with lots of mini skirts and above mentioned d bags.  Met a couple cool people in line who drove from Santa Cruz stoked to hear Mark Farina spin.

Well, after about 20 minutes in line, we finally show IDs and the security cop tells my friend he can't get in wearing shorts.  Well the girls ahead of us had mini skirts on that were ridiculously short.  What a joke.

A shame these promoters chose this club with such talented djs backing.  We left and won't be back unless some serious changes are made.

I went for the first time this past weekend to see Carl Thomas. The club, the old Pepper Mill, was well done and spacious. However, whoever designed the concept must have been a man without consideration of all of the women present (way out numbering the men) wearing the trendy 6 inch heels! There were only a few seats lining one wall of the dance floor, thus the need to stand all night. You could sit if you paid the extra fee for the VIP room or for bottle service (still limited in number of seats available). Standing until 6am!! REALLY!  To me this is very bad form! The concert (main attraction) didn't start until after midnight. The DJ was very good, playing a wide variety of music great for dancing. The dance floor was large, however, since there were no tables and no place to sit your drink, people were dancing with their drinks in hand (which were not good at all for the price!). Needless to say there were puddles of liquid all over the dance floor where, those females with those sexy high heels that men love so much, had a wonderful opportunity to slip, fall, and sue for harm caused by the wet floor. Not safe!!! Now for the good things. Again, it was very nice inside, tasteful, and Carl Thomas did a absolutely wonderful performance! Despite the fact that this venue is very new and has not yet established a presence, I give it 5 stars.

I've been here twice so far to determine the potential of the venue and scope it out and as someone who has been involved in the industry for many many years, I can tell you first hand AXIS selects high quality staff, security, cocktail waitresses, wait staff, and bartenders.

    AESTHETICS
This place looks retro and if you can't figure out why, it's because it used to be the ~PEPPERMILL~ Mirrors on the ceilings, big leather booths, and red lights everywhere!
It's charming if you can appreciate that it is not trying to be "Vegas" or "San Francisco" It's far from what you're used to in San Jose as well so if you feel uncomfortable or out of place in a venue that doesn't feel familiar, go back to where you are comfortable because it surely has it's own personality!

    DRINKS
The drinks are a bit pricey so do yourself a favor and get bottle service which is more cost effective and save time. You wont have to wait at the bar from drinks, you'll have comfortable seating for yourself and friends and also many VIP wristbands.

    MUSIC
Since the venue offers 3 dance floors, there is an appropriate setting for everyone. The large room will often have Go-Go dancers so if you love this type of thing, go towards the stage and if this offends you simply stay in the back close to the DJ booth. Depending on the night as well, you'll have promoters and DJs catering to different tastes.

    ENTERTAINMENT

Promoters and DJs will determine what type of theme or party will be held.

    Do your research.

Go on a night you'll enjoy.

    PARKING
Plenty of parking and you can park on the curb right in front of the club as well if you're feeling like a boss.

    BONUS

    * Open until 6AM if you want to dance all night!!! Why not?
    * Food Served LATE

It really is a bit like an old Casino. I Love it.

Partied here last weekend, got bottle service and danced my heart out.

    Pros:

Club is fairly new so it's not jam packed

    Spacious dance floor

    Tables are sectioned off

Huge outside patio to smoke.  Yes, they have plenty of tables and chairs! *Their claim: "gorgeous outdoor patio* ummm....no. Don't go out there expecting fancy furniture.  It's cheap metal chairs with used old tables that wobble.  Looks like you're typical old back yard with broken cement, nasty walls, and no view.

two.....TWO  Restrooms.  One in the front entrance and another in the back (shhhh....it's our little secret)

    Hip hop

Plenty of FREE PARKING. Lot and street

24 hr Mcdonalds down the street! Get your grub on!

Nice security.  Yes, they are actually friendly and not an ass!

    Cons:

The decor is tacky and old

You want a shot at the bar?  Vegas club prices and it's half the amount you get ANYWHERE else.  Don't waste your money

Smoke machine blows so much that you can't see in front of you.  Walking around blind on a big dance floor = hitting someone

This is definitely not like the clubs in SF or LA.  Don't have your expectations high.

Out of all the clubs I've been to in my life, this place is seriously a joke. Worst experience ever!!!  I came here for my friend's birthday, which was a huge mistake. Let start of with the bottle service, you have to pay upfront + 20% gratuity,1 bottle you get 5-6 wristbands, 2 bottles you a little more. We had a big group and we don't need more than 2 bottles, some of us don't drink. Security came to our table to make sure everyone got their wristband; some of us didn't have one because they didn't give us enough. The BS part was we got kicked out of our table because we didn't have a wristband. I was thinking to myself. What are you trying to be? Like Vegas, those high end night clubs? Give me a break, you'll never get there.

The location of the club is in the middle of a business area and next to Embassy Suites on 101 and Great America Parkway, which is really ghetto. Oh also for the drinks, we ordered 5 hennessy shots, the bartender takes out 5 tiny plastic cups and pours about  1/2 of that, and its $11 each that was a rip off. Was that even a shot?

In other words, do yourself a favor and stay away from this place!!!

I don't know if it is because it's in Santa Clara? or maybe the club is still too new but I see lots of potential in the club.

We arrived shortly after 11... I guess too late for "guestlist".  There seemed to be a crowd outside so we thought it would be popping inside.  As with the other reviews there did seem to be a bit of confusion outside. And turns out if you get bottle service there.. it's cheaper than if you make reservations over the phone earlier?  weird.

So we finally get in 1/2 price for girls $10 and $20 for guys.... I think this place would get more people if girls were free... I mean I don't even pay for clubs in Vegas.  We walk in and it's pretty empty like only 2 people dancing.. I get 11 is still "early" for club standards.. but for the club to be so chaotic outside.. I thought there would be more of a crowd inside.

The music was alright wasn't spectacular and for how roomy it was inside it was fairly warm already.  Maybe it was the lights and the fog machine but it was quite warm inside.

PLUS stars for the super nice bartender.  He was friendly and chatty and made sure we got everything we asked for, even when my friend accidentally knocked over her drink with the pen while she was signing the credit card slip.

This club also has a high guy to girl ratio.. and some guys in the club were really pushy.. apparently no isn't an answer they understand.. they repeatedly come at you despite what you say.

Plus another star for the decorum. I like the lighting area behind the bar it looks like a more high end club, the mirrors do make it deceiving and make the place look bigger than what it is.

Who knows.. this place may have plenty of potential, maybe we'll check back in a couple of months,  but for now.. I dont think it will be high on my priority list.

I literally just got back from this place right now! It is so terrible!!! The only reason I give it a star is because the music is descent.  I didn't really like the way the club looked, one room was pretty much Trance/ Dubstep/ House music its just one big dance floor and the bottle service tables were behind that against the wall. The other room was more like a hip hop room but it was smaller then the Trance room and it was lit with red lights and to me kind of looked dirty. At one time in that room I saw guys putting dollar bills into a go go dancers bikini bottom. I'm all for having a good time and all but for some reason, maybe it was the lighting, maybe it was how the table looked with guys sitting at their chairs and stuffing dollars into the girls bikini while she was dancing gave that room a bad vibe for me .  At least they had an open area outside for smokers though. The location of the club is kind of in the middle of a business area and next to Embassy Suites on 101 and Great America Parkway.  As far as the drinks go... We went up to the bar to order some drinks there were 3 people working there and it was about 1:15 so there was little people there buying drinks because of last call I guess... anyways... there were 3 bartenders and i saw only one guy helping out the customers the the other two were in the corner chatting away or flirting whatever you may call it... so we ordered 3 Hennessy shots and he takes out these 3 TINY plastic cups and pours about 1- 1 1/2 TABLESPOON of alcohol in there!!! I AM NOT EVEN EXAGGERATING!!! the cost for that tiny cup of alcohol? $11.00!!!!! Even if there was no Last Call for alcohol I would not have even went back to order more! That was a rip off big time!!!!!!!! I

This is the old peppermill location and as you walk in, it brings back memories.
Parking is plentiful and the dance area is big enough to accommodate lots of people. Upcoming restaraunt in the back looks promising.
