The papa relleno was a hit. The Peruvian tamale had chicken and olives. I have had this in Lima, Peru and the flavor was the same and right on the spot. It was Americanized in size because I believe these tamales are typically half the size. Â I love the green sauce they have on the table to soak the warm bread.
The arroz con pollo was delicious and the portion of chicken was big. The rice has a green texture like spinach or perhaps pesto with a great flavor. We ordered the ceviche with shrimp and I was not impressed.
