This place has changed ownership/management. Â I gave it 5 stars when it was Ayala's, now note rating. Â
No more all you can drink pop, it comes in cans. Â Prices have increased a couple dollars on all entrees and portions are much smaller.
I ordered chicken enchaladas, I got something unknown. I believe cheese(?) but there was so little of it in there I couldn't say for sure. Kind of looked like all it was was a rolled up tortilla. Â
All I know is that they used to be VERY GENEROUS with the cheese on top, and now there was hardly any. Â Also, my dinner arrived at a luke warm temperature. Â
We had been faithful diners here for the last several years, but we won't be back. Â Also, new menu is about 1/3rd size of old menu and even with that, they can't seem to put out a good edible product. Â So sad!
Nothing positive to say about our experience. Came for dinner at 6 on a Thursday. Were literally the only people there. No atmosphere when the place is functioning as a restaurant. Camarones a la plancha were overcooked and very bland. Flautas were fine. Just very average-below average food. After about 20 min of waiting for the bill that never came, we left the money on the table and left.
Review Source:Great jalapeño dip, great horchata, great enchiladas. Can get pretty packed later in the evening when they have live music, and a club-like atmosphere. You can get cheap gift certificates on http://restaurant.com, which makes it a great deal. Some of the items on the menu can be kinda plain, but you'll find something you like.
