Pretty chill dive. The staff and other patrons seemed friendly enough. The tables are not in the best condition. Smokey. Some of the locals were a bit noisy the night I was in but otherwise no complaints. The jukebox was also loud, much too loud for the number of people who were in that night. About $8/hr for a table. I didn't drink so I can't comment on the prices or selection. I would not choose to bring a date here.
Review Source:If you like a steady backdrop of Tejano music and rap, and are looking for a place that allows smoking at the bar (quite possibly flaunting a city ordinance), then this might be your kind of place.
It's not my kind of place, or my mom's kind of place.
I gave a second star because the jukebox does have plenty of rock and roll on it and the pool table we were on was in fine condition.
Note: This was on a Friday night. During the week it might not be as bad.
I'm on a pool hall crusade right now and this place was next on the list.  We came here on a Friday night to play pool.  We picked out our table and ordered our drinks.  Just as we were about to break, we noticed cigarette smoke, so we moved to one table over to get away since I'm slightly allergic.  As we  were playing, the jukebox mostly played Tejano music, which became tiresome after a while.  Luckily a rock song came on once in a while.  Then my allergic reaction to the cigarette smoke started to worsen and soon afterward, I noticed people were walking around smoking.  We had ordered chicken wings and cheese sticks, but since the smoke was becoming overbearing, we wanted to leave.  The waitress informed us that smoking was allowed and offered to cancel the food order.  We decided to endure it for a little bit more and leave after we ate our food. Â
The pool tables were in okay condition, but several cue sticks had broken tips and weren't in that great of shape. Â The allowed smoking will definitely deter me from ever returning. Â On a more positive note, the bar food was good and pool is only $10/hour.
