I ordered 2 slices of cheese pizza, and got 2 slices of sausage. What else should I say in this review? I think I'm done. If you want Beggars Pizza, go to the north-side Chicago locations. This isn't the 1st time an order has been botched, and they're consistently understaffed and underwhelmed.
Review Source:I have never had a bad experience here. The girls are always nice to me and cracking jokes every time I come there to pick up my food. Expect a 30+ min wait for your pizza, I always call ahead. They accept coupons and the food is never below amazing. The complaints about yelling thru plexiglass are unecessary because 1) they have an intercom system and 2) if you lived over there, you would understand why. Keep up the good work Stony!
Review Source:The girls working here have real nasty ass attitudes. They were closing early to go to an event at the Shrine that weekend but yet there was no signs put up nor did they tell my brother-in-law we he called and ordered. They also should have had a special message on their phone as well and shouldn't have taken orders after a certain time to ensure they leave on time.
When we pulled up, I could see the girl behind the counter had a nasy attitdde, we showed up 10 minutes before they were closing early and they kknew we were coming. My sister wnet up to the door to go in and pay and the door was locked, so the girl behind the counter started talkiing to my sistter between the door, finally my sister said she couldn't here the girl and sshe would have to open the door up. She told my sister she couldn't open tthe door and that security would have to do it, WTF?!?!?!? So the security guy came and unlocked the door, not with a key but by turnign the lock on thhe door, something that girl could have done herself. (And wait, what kindd of pizza place has a damn security person?) Definetly will not be back, ghetto ghetto ghetto, and a hot ass mess.
Went there for the first time last night.  I called in an order. The young lady that took my order was VERY pleasant and helpful in helping us decide what to order. We decided on a large stuffed turkey sausage and chicken pizza and 4 wings. $30!!!! After eating my first slice, I wanted to go back and demand at least $20 back. It was not good at all. The chicken tasted old and the pizza just wasn't seasoned at all. I had another piece for lunch today, and I still feel the same.  I know how important it is to patronize businesses in our neighborhood, but unfortunately  I don't think that I will be going back.  I really LOVE Margaritas Pizza, but I refuse to put up with a rude person taking my order. I guess the search is back on for good pizza in South Shore.
Review Source:I don't know why everyone is hating on this location. I've been a constant customer since they opened and really havent had any issues with my pizza. I do agree that the prices seem higher than the other chains, but other than that no complaints. I love beggars pizza and I think they have one of the best tasting pizzas in the city, besides giordanos. Now the Richton park location is the only place that serves garbage, that pizza is horrible, i've went there once and haven't been back.
Review Source:If you wanna have a heart-attack while scarfing down your second piece then this is the pizza for you. Â I think the amount of cheese at least weighed 1 1/2 pounds. I had a small BBQ combo pizza. Sausage, grilled chicken breast,
pepperoni, mozzarella and cheddar cheese, red onions and BBQ sauce. This pizza will kill you for sure. Â I would like to know which corporate nit-wit said it was ok to mix mozzarella and cheddar cheese on pizza. After opening the box and seeing this monstrosity I was completely turned off after seeing how much cheese was dumped on this pizza. Â And when I say dumped I mean by the truck load. Just a big glob. Â This is a prime example of how Americans take something simple and bastardize it. Fred Sanford would definetly be going to see Elizabeth if he had a slice of this pizza. Â SMDH!!!
