Big Boy Restaurants

When I arrived I was ready for a great dinner with my fiancé. Farthest thing from it. We received our drinks and asked Sam our waitress for just one more minute before we ordered. She decides to give us ten. After we finally had ordered, we got up to use the salad bar, which had the oldest vegetables I've ever seen. It took at least another fifteen minutes to get our food which was acceptable to say the least. We then played the waiting game again just to receive our bill. Not to my surprise when we went to the register I saw that our waitress along with other members of the waitstaff were on their phones and working on homework. When Sam finally realized we were waiting at the register she acted like we were interrupting her and didn't say one word to us while we gave her our hard earned money for crappy food and horrible service. Worst experience ever.

Stopped in for a quick carryout on my way home Thursday.

Sweet gal named Brenna  promptly greeted me knew all the Cabbage soup prices & got me a bowl lickity split!

Greeted with a warm welcome and promptly given our beverages. After ordering our food. The 6 employees were unable to manage the 4pm rush that was 3 tables. We waited about 15 minutes for our food. Only asked for a refill when she brought our food.  The food was good, but i was left wondering if Jimmy Johns would have been a better choice.  The atmosphere was depressing, but full of great people watching.
