  Should've know better than to order a salad at a sports bar style restaurant but I thought I'd give it a whirl. Mistake. Chopping up romaine lettuce and adding one or two tiny sprigs of cabbage does not equate to mixed greens. We sat at the bar and all of the servers seemed confused as to who was supposed to take care of us. One was sweet, but new. The other very loud and frantic. We won't be back.

  really poor customer service. we went on a night when few other people were there and still had bad service. I think our server was high. and the manager wasn't very accommodating when we brought the problems we were having to her

  Waitress was not interested in waiting on us. We sat at the bar and it took some time before someone got to us. She was never friendly and wanted to complain that her eye hurt. It seemed like most of the staff there that night just wanted to hang out between the bar and kitchen and chat. I will say the food was pretty good but who want to eat where the wait staff acts like it's trouble to wait on you.

  I've never eaten here so this review is simply for their Thursday night happy hour.
  
  Billy's always serves the purpose . . . a cheap place to go out on Thursday night and let loose before rolling into work hungover the next day.  There is usually some sort of live music and then they have dollar wells till 11PM (I think).  How can I complain about that.  The crowd is definitely young, 21-24 y/o, just out of college.  I always go in expecting to be one of the oldest people in there and most of the time it's true.  
  
  It can get pretty crowded till about 10:30 and then the crowd dies down.  There is a cover for males . . . I have no idea what it is though since I don't have to pay it.

  Interesting little eatery. I visited on a Tuesday night when the special was any starter for $5 except for the seafood or sampler platter. I got the nachos, recommended by my friend and the server, and they were pretty tasty. Rather than arriving enveloped by chintzy yellow nacho cheese, globs of sour cream and guac, they were served in a generous pile with tasteful amounts of sour cream, jalepenos, and a little bit of what may have been chili. The toppings were cool (not sure if they were supposed to be warm in the first place) but not unappetizing. The wings are apparently good as well.

  Great burgers & excellent wings. Very cold beer. Good spot to chill and watch a game. Little more upscale atmosphere than your average sports bar.  I have no recollection that Billy's was ever a "simple cafe" as the other review claims.

  Took an hour to get our food on a slow Thursday night. Fries where cold and my wife's Greek Salad was mostly olives. Service was really bad. The staff at Billy's should be ashamed of themselves!

  A simple cafe that seems to have become a sports bar.  The menu includes your basics: chicken fingers, burgers, and salads.  Nothing is special about the drinks, average beer and liquor selection.  I can honestly say there is nothing special about this place.  Service is average and parking can be a hassle.  The crowd consist of post college Mt. Brook kids.
