Bistro Mezzaluna Restaurant

My fiance and I booked a nice date out to this restaurant since we had been given great recommendations to this place.

Unfortunately, they did nothing but upset us.

They put us in an extremely awkward banquet room where we were extremely rushed  . So much for a nice relaxing date night out. The waiter kept hounding us for our drink orders and our food orders. There was zero time for my fiance and I just to talk among ourselves.

The banquet room was extremely crowded and awkward. I could hear everything the couple was talking about next to us. The tables were way too close together and this was not a restaurant setting at all. Just a great way for the restaurant to make money off of couples looking for a nice night out. The couple next to us asked to be moved down to the actual restaurant. I urge future potential clients to move to out of their tacky banquet room.

Needless to say, my fiance and I were completed with our formal dinner under 30 minutes. We spoke with the manager regarding our disappointment and all he did was set us up in their bar area with one free glass of wine. Doesn't quite make up for an over-piced $200 dinner.

We will not be going back!!!!

I would not recommend this restaurant. It's one thing to overpay for a subpar product, yet it's quite another to be discriminated. Poor management doesn't begin to encompass the severe level of incompetence that riddles this establishment. Service was good, and she was publicly fired before the end of the night.

If you're looking for a good night out, keep looking.

Wonderful meal there last night. Arugala salad and truffle mac and cheese to die!  Will be back.
