At first glance, this place looked like a bit of a tired old diner. Â It didn't exactly have me excited about dropping by for lunch.
I will admit that I was a bit surprised when we received our food. Â It was really well done.
I ordered the lox platter. Â They were pretty generous with the lox and the tomatoes were beautiful and thick slices--a beautiful compliment to the lox. Â
My partner ordered the tuna salad sandwich with hard boiled eggs. Â It sounds weird, but he said it tasted really good and there was a ton of tuna in the sandwich. Â His french fries were also tasty.
Definitely look past the decor and give the food a try. Â We certainly were pleased.
