Food was awful. Drinks were weak. One extra star for prices being cheap.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and give this place four stars. After reading others' reviews I was a bit hesitant to even try out the place but I am glad we did.

We just moved into the apartments right across the parking lot to Blondie's. So not only is it super convenient, but its actually a pretty decent place. We've been twice and had a good time both times . The first time was just for one drink and an appetizer. And the second was a saturday night, with some friends. We got the chicken fingers, which were decent, fries too. I would most likely order them again.

Now I am not sure if they do this every night, but the first drink was only .50! They have happy hour specials every day, and every night they have a different theme. Karaoke can also be found here.

Considering we live right across the parking lot, this is definitely going to be on our regular spots list!

HORRIBLE SERVICE!  Supposedly they close at 2a.m. BUT they decided that 1:30 was the time to PULL  ALL drinks and tell you to leave while being very rude about it..I thought this was a bar, my bad..

I'm sorry, but I have worked in the restaurant industry for many years and it is never okay to tell a customer to leave a half hour early just because you feel like it..at least let me finish my drink that I just ordered and stick to the "legal laws" meaning that I have until 2a.m. to finish my drink.

Also, I and many other people I've talked to that live the apartments that are right across the street, will never go back because the service and people that work there are SOOOOOO HORRIBLE!!

We want to like this place because it is in walking distance HOWEVER, the people that work there could give a sh** less about you and YOUR business.

It's so sad to say, but I honestly hope they go out of business so somebody else has the opportunity to make this a GREAT place to eat & drink at with at least normal to great service.

I love this place and it is my favorite location to catch a game. The staff is friendly, but not bubbly or fake, the food is good yet inexpensive, and the crowd that is usually in there is a good one.

A solid business and I have never not enjoyed myself when I go in there. They know how to treat people who come in to watch games (we are there for 3+ hours, after all) and I've never had a problem.

Horrible service! Old blonde bartender is the worst.

I went to Blondies with some friends who happen to live in the area, and it was close so we could take a cab. It was a Friday night and it was busy, but not slammed. We sat down at a table which was open and the bouncer/security guard told us that we had a server who would be over to take drink orders. No server ever comes by so we go to the bar to get drinks. Ten minutes later, we finally get served. Drinks weren't outrageous, but not cheap either. The atmosphere here is alright, there's a cheeesy DJ who plays top 40 music and some pool tables, plus a patio to go outside and smoke.  I'm not sure how this got categorized as a "dance club".

When I wanted another drink is when all the trouble started. I knew I would never get a server's attention, despite sitting at a table with a completely empty drink, so I went to the bar. I was standing next to two other women and after being blatantly ignored a handful of times, they informed me not to hold my breath, these bartenders make men their priority. I see a girl who is obviously a server, and ask her if she is indeed a server and she replies with "Yeah, I'll get to you", turns her back to me and WAVES ME OFF with her hand like I was a mosquito.

I abandoned the idea of another drink and high tailed it out of there. Who works in a restaurant and doesn't want to serve guests - i.e. doesn't want to be tipped!? Can't wrap my mind around that one.

The only reason I don't give this a single star is I had been here another time with a friend and the service was fine, granted it was 4:00 on a Tuesday.

I stopped in this last weekend to check out Blondies, I'd heard there were new owners and was hoping to see if there were any improvements. Unfortunately all is the same. Empty bar, no greeting, did not offer a menu, after getting a drink was asked if I was ready to get my tab. Really? Attn new owners, replace the staff. This place has such potential, it's too bad the owners/mgmt don't know how to make a potentially great neighborhood bar. 1st order of business is to fire the staff that has been there for too many years. Get some fresh faces that like greeting the customers.

This place was absolutely awful. I would recommend you avoid it! A group of us went in on a Thursday afternoon and the only acknowledgement we received was a really snooty waitress whom asked to see our ids- not even a hello. She proceeded to glance at our ids and walked away as my friend was in midsentence of asking her a question. My other friend decided to just head to the bar and watched as the bartender served him beer in a dirty glass. I usually give servers more credit as I once was one, but the bar was relatively calm and there wasn't much going on to justify the terrible service.

Neighborhood bars should be friendly and comfortable, this place was neither.

Hunting around for a new place to play Texas Hold'em found us at Blondies.  We'd read some earlier reviews so didn't have really high or low expectations- which is exactly where Blondie's fits in- not bad but not great either.  The place is easy to get to, if you ride the Light Rail it is located right at the Englewood station.  We went in on a Monday night around 6pm and there were maybe 15 patrons, definitely not packed.  Service was prompt and friendly but a bit expensive, especially for beers (I've never seen pitchers priced more than single glasses of beer, so be prepared to do your mental math before ordering).  The food was very good so that makes up for some of it.  I could go either way with a recommedation- probably not a regular hang out place as the drinks are 25% more expensive than other nearby bars of similar motiff but not bad for meeting friends especially if they are on the Light Rail.

Stella on draft, $2 for the first beer and a friendly waitress is what I encountered last night on the way to dinner with friends.  I thought I had been here before and it was more British??  Anyway, it was mostly empty with a few folks at the bar.  Not a fan of the music...with the location this place should be way more happening!

We went to Blondies this past Friday night as it was a half way point between my house and my friends house. I did not know what to expect for a bar in Engle'hood". But I usually like the bars that are a bit run down anyhow. When we walked in they had a dance floor which I was surprised about and a DJ. They also had 4 pool tables towards the back. We took a seat and had a very nice waitress come to serve us up some cheap bud lights. They had a spacial going on. After a pool table opened up we enjoyed that for about 6 games. Pool is $0.75 cents a go. The DJ was playing all rap and hip hop which I found funny seeing as then entire crowd didn't really seem like a rap loving kinda crowd. But there were people dancing.

Pros include the pictures in the girls bathroom - go have a look you know you want to. And the cheap beers and pool. Seemed really relaxed.

Cons The cute little waitress girl came and told us it was last call at 1:00 am. I was like wow I have had a few but according to my calculation Mr. Zulu we still got 45 minutes. WHAT? Nope last call at 1:00 am. Plus the music was not to every ones liking.

Will probably go to again since like I said it is half way between my friends house and mine which make the location priceless. I guess?.

Not a hug kareoke fan but somehow I have fun here each time. My girlfriend's main hang out. Kareoke is not every night, Saturday, and unsure on other nights.

I've gone to Blondie's a few times now and think it is a good spot in the area.  Sometimes I feel bad about giving a 3 star rating, but it isn't a bad rating.  A-OK is exactly what I would describe Blondie's as and that isn't bad.  They have a good selection of beer and I've enjoyed the few things I have sampled on their menu.  I sat at the bar both times and service was good.  I'll definitely return.

We have been here a couple of times and the only thing they have going for them is the location. The bar staff is very unfreindly and it takes for ever to get service. The food is gross and I will never go back.

The first time I went to this bar was during the basketball playoffs. Had an amaretto sour and some chicken wings... not bad. Overall its a place to eat and drink, nothing to write home about.
Then I went back with a friend to have a few drinks but wasn't able to have a girls night because guys kept hitting on us.... Not good not really bad....

This place has the worst service had to approach the bar twice after 30 min of waiting for a server to stop by for our menus - honestly don't waste your time like me and my family did, just go to moes down the street. This wasn't even the first time this has happen but I vow never to go there again

We walked over for a drink while visiting a friend who lived in the same development. It was a fun, friendly place to get a drink. It was a weekend evening, but there was plenty of space. There was karaoke going on, which proved entertaining but not annoying.

Maybe I'm just accustomed to more city-center sorts of drinking establishments, or maybe it has something to do with the fact that they're mostly in Texas and in Austin, but the patrons seemed more "real people"-ish than many of the college student- and hipster-filled pubs and bars we often end up going to. Maybe it's just cause everything's too damn cold up there to bother with such silliness. ::shrug::

Had a blast at Blondie's this past weekend!  I agree with some previous reviewers- the crowd was eclectic and energetic.  Everything from old locals to young hipsters.  Love the diversity!  Also loved the fact that even though there was karaoke going on, I could still have a conversation with my group of friends without having to yell!

Chill enough for some good conversation, exciting enough to get up and dance to some karaoke singers if you feel inclined :)  Late night bar menu is definitely limited, but the thin crust pizza I ordered was pretty tasty!

I'll definitely be back to Blondie's soon!

Fun! Not what I expected, but: interesting theme, the area was well kept, there was an interesting crowd - a diverse mix of young and old, loud and not loud, dancing and standing. Loud music, mostly rap (some fun old school like Baby Got Back) played from the front of the building. The service was fantastic even during all the Friday night chaos. I can appreciate a server who keeps her cool and a smile on her face during the drunken craziness... like throwing ice cubes. Not to say I had anything to do with throwing ice cubes... no, not me... or anyone I know. That wasn't us.
Anyway. It was an overall decent experience and since my best friend lives close, I'll probably grace this place with my non-ice-throwing presence again someday.

I was visiting family in Denver for the weekend and we decided we wanted to go karaoke singing so we found Blondie's and had a BLAST!  The place is a decent size, had plenty of seating at tables, at the bar, and on the patio.  But the best part was the karaoke!  They had a huge selection of songs (by artist and by song) the DJ was super cool and let everyone act a fool which is what everyone goes to see anyway right?  Who cares if you don't have the best voice as long as you're having fun! There were enough people in the place to cheer you on, but no so many people that you couldn't get your request in.  Fun, fun fun!

Ahhh, Blondies. Blondies is the friendliest bar I have been to since I moved out to Colorado. As soon as you plunk your butt down at the bar, the local drunks who have been chugging beer and Wild Turkey since noon will greet you with terrible jokes and stories about how their hopes and dreams of becoming a Bronco quarterback were dashed when they blew out a knee trying to steal a keg from a moving Coors truck. And, you will meet fascinating people, like the lady who was double fistin rum-and-cokes while her daughter was at ballet practice next door. She couldn't finish the 4th, since practice was over and she had to drive her angel home. We enjoyed some 2-for-1 brews and after 9pm on a Thursday we sang a little karaoke.

Firehouse in Blondie's Firehouse isn't just to catch an eye.  Turn out gear, masks, signs, hydrants, helmets, everything but the halligan decorate this place.  For your enjoyment firefighters shirtless in their bunker pants surround the mirror in the women's room and I've been told that there's even eye candy on the ceiling for the boys.

There's pool, a few arcade standards, and a dance floor.  A small area is fenced off for outdoor enjoyment, yet they allow smoking :/ The menu is simple bar food, but the taste was far better.  The tasty hamburger was juicy and cooked exactly as ordered and the jalapeno poppers popped with flavor.

All drinks are 2 for 1 till 9pm on weeknights.  The place seems kind of dingy, but this will be our local watering hole.
