We utilized Bravo's as our caterer for our company holiday luncheon (approx. 250 employees) and it was wonderful! The food was great, the price was very competitive and the service was excellent. The General Manager from the Castleton restaurant went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests without any push back at all. Our employees all complimented the food and said how much they liked it. Lots of compliments on the Tiramisu. They came to our facility the night before to set up the tables and seating. We are very pleased we made this choice and will definitely consider BRAVO Cucina Italiana for future events.

It was a hit or miss for me. My hubby loved their strawberry granita drink. The calamari was good but not great. We were excited about their pizza since it seems like they have a stone fire oven...but it was just ok as well... nothing spectacular. The dessert was just ok as well. Should I go back again? Well, if Olive Garden across the street was my last resort, then I would rather eat at Bravo instead.

I've always kind of wanted to check this place out. It has been on the north side of Castleton for what seems like decades. Finally got a chance tonight and it was pretty disappointing. I had always heard that this place was supposed to be a nice, upscale Italian eatery. What it is is a cheesy, dated Italian eatery. The decore was probably pretty fresh in 1996, but could use some serious updating. The bathrooms were dirty. The restaurant was ungodly loud, and didn't have much nuance inside. Just a big room with tables in it. The food was ok. Not bad really, both my wife and I enjoyed our meals. But they weren't anything amazing or that you couldn't get at a million other Italian restaurants either. With so many quality local restaurants on the scene now with superior food, price, and atmosphere (Mama Carolla's, Amici, Iaria's, Iozzo's, DePalma's) I really have no reason to recommend Bravo to anyone ever. Bravo might have been top of the line a couple of decades ago, but they've got some work to do now.

And a side note, another part of what made my experience pretty terrible tonight was that the dining room was around 85 degrees inside. I know there is a heat wave but you really need to get that AC fixed or get some fans if you expect people to eat here.

I worked here back in high school, so I'm extremely familiar with the BRAVO! franchise/way. I don't believe the service or food is AS GOOD as it was 10 years ago. I am not sure of management changes/etc.. but I have a much fonder memory of the food then, than I do now.

This is one of my favorite restaurants, I've never had a bad experience here. The atmosphere is classy and inviting but still lively and the wait staff are friendly and attentive. My husband and I come here on those nights I don't feel like cooking (so often!) and I honestly think I had the best steak of my life here. It was so unbelievably delicious, I would highly recommend it. Also try the calamari, very good here as well.

I'll be honest- Bravo can be totally hit-or-miss, especially as of late.

The atmosphere and decor are excellent, as is the bread and oil that is brought out pre-meal (heck, I could make a meal just of the bread and oil!). But the entrees? They've definitely gone down hill. Maybe it's because I'm not much of a red-meat eater, but the chicken and/or veggie entree choices leave much to be desired. Even my old standby, the pasta woozie, has kinda fizzled. I don't know what happened, but Bravo has definitely lost the magic that it had.. new cook? new menu? who knows, but it will definitely be a while before I return.

Way above average. Really liked the lobster bisque, and even on a busy Friday night, we got served well and quickly.

Had the lobster ravioli with shrimp, the pasta was good but did not see any lobster just the favor, sauce and shrimp were VERY Salty, it was like they put salt right on top before it went out. Bread is always good. But what's up with having to share the oil, I mean what if you don't really know all the people at your table....for god sake you give us our own bread plate put the oil on that PLEASE!

This is one of the nicest restraunts in Indianapolis!  Two locations both northside- off East 86th Street and West 86th Street.
The atmosphere created by the decor is relaxing and jovial.  And the food is delicious.  Cedar planked Salmon, best Lasagna, great wines and deserts.  They have several specialty dishes and a fantastic Chopped Salad.
Rooms can be reserved days ahead for a minimal fee for groups of 25 and 50-75.
    Nice Bar.

"No more Olive Garden when we are in town...BRAVO all the way!"

Me and my hubby wanted new place to try in Indy. We were out in the Keystone area and GPS'ed a few places in the area. Bravo was the winner.

As we walked into this is location, the space was large and very classy. Our seating was in a good location. I loved that they put padding under the tables for my knees. This as a first for me...don't laugh! Jazz was played in the background and the wine menu was impressive.

What impressed me the most was the waiter, the service was A+. He was always on time with everything he did, keep a close eye from a distance without inviting himself to our dinner.

OK, the deal on the food: the food was good. The hubby enjoyed his food (Balsamic Glazed Chicken) much better than me. But I liked my plate as well (Grilled Tilapia With Crab). We loved our desserts (Creme Brulee--me; Warm Berry Cake--him). Everything was good priced for everything we had.

We will be back when we want a good and filling American-style Italian restaurant.

This was a surprise.  The food was good and the prices were not bad.  I had the crab cakes eggs benedict.   I have never had this combination before and I was pleasantly surprised.

Bravo is great for authentic Italian food. It might not be what you expect, and they have a tendency to add capers when capers are not necessary. To be honest, a friend of mine and I would grab a quick sandwich at the jimmy john's next door then go to Bravo for their fantastic tiramisu, which due to diligent legwork I can confidently say is the best in Indianapolis.

I don't care if its a chain... its better than crapplebee's. I usually go to Bravo once or twice a year and always enjoy it. The atmosphere is cool, and the service is good. They handled a party of approx 17 like it was nothing at my last visit. The Pasta Bravo and chicken marsala dishes are backed. I would say "bravo!" to Bravo! but that would be corny.

I have never left Bravo disappointed.  It is a wonderful American-style Italian restaurant.  The atmosphere is great for an Italian restaurant.  The best part is you could go here casually or formally.  It is just at the perfect in between that you could go there on any occasion.

Oh, and you are going to want to ask for extra bread and oil.  Once you try it you cannot get enough!

When I live in Indy, my office buddies and I went here for lunch several times a week.  I miss the pastas and salads.  Definitely recommend for a mid-level (not too formal, not too casual, not too expensive, etc) eatery.

We went there for my B-Day dinner.  Good stuff.  We both had the chop salad which I would highly recommend.  My wife had the lasagna which was quite tasty.  I had the Ravioli stuffed with braised beef.  A totally different take on Ravioli but very tasty.  It was served with sweet potatoes and a butter sauce.  ultimate comfort food.  We shared the Chocolate fudge center cake with ice cream....mmmmmmm.  This is a chain but the service and food was good.  I would go back.

This is a pretty enjoyable, American-style Italian chain restaurant, not unlike a Macaroni Grill.  I'm not sure what I can say that hasn't already been said.

It was clean and reasonably priced, and service was good.  The free bread is enjoyable, and everyone at my table enjoyed their pasta.  Portions are big enough to easily share a meal or save half of it for tomorrow's lunch.

The restaurant has a sister chain called Brio....Brio at the Millennium Mall in Orlando was one of our favorite places to eat.  Bravo was pretty good too.
    1. Clean
    2.  Reasonable wait
    3.  Okay prices
    4.  Good food

    Give it a try....

Never been disappointed by Bravo. Yes it's a chain, but not an overbearing one with locations in every single area. I must agree that the previous menu was better, but since they still can make my standby dish (Pasta Pomodoro, $11.59) with angel hair vs. regular spaghetti, I really cannot compare. I have tried just about anything, but the aforementioned dish combines all of their best ingredients. A juicy, wood-fired grilled chicken breast chopped into small strips and mixed with angel hair, and their super chunky marinara. Their marinara is wonderful and full of onions, peppers in a good sized dicing, and plenty of garlic (bring ultra powerful breath mints to Bravo.)

I do like their caesar salad because the dressing is not overpowering and the put plenty of  cheese on it. along with toasted crouton versions of their wonderful bread.  Wine selection is decent but not adventurous.  The atmosphere is loud even though the lighting is dim, but there is very rarely a quiet moment here.  Mostly joyful conversation dominates and not many business functions seem to be discussed here.  The tables are all out in full display and their are no private booths which lends again to a more social atmosphere than say Sangiovese which is more intimate and quiet.

If you're looking for good Italian and a pretty boisterous atmosphere, then check out Bravo. However, please sit across the table from your date if you would like a goodnight kiss later on (and bring those Listerine strips!)

I have never had a bad meal here, but I have had a few bad dates.  Ba dum bum!  Smallish bar area gets full very fast and the wait can be long for a table sometimes.  This is a very popular restaurant!

Food is decent, love the complimentary bread and servers are typically good.

I love Italian and I'm always satisfied when I eat at Bravo.  I really enjoy the bread and wine selection.  The staff is great, but I cannot stand how family-friendly this place is, with very little bar seating to avoid the family crowd.  I have found myself gritting my teeth at the idea of eating here, b/c it is SO crowded, loud and usually FULL of kids.  I'm not sure what the draw is, as I find it to be a bit pricey but apparently, it is popular for family dining, so I do avoid it like the plague these days.

Not only that, but it is hard to have a conversation due to being so close to other tables, very little privacy and the constant loud ruckus.  I think the food is great though a bit on the overpriced side and have never had a bad server.  I just wish it wasn't so geared towards entertaining small children and I wish they would spread out the tables a bit to allow for more privacy during dinner.

I would say to go somewhere else for a business meeting, first date or if you are looking for a good conversation with your dining partner, b/c you will most likely be interrupted by the people sitting behind you, waiters barely squeezing by or the lovely song of a whiny child.

A great restaurant.  I used to go all the time (before kids).  The complimentary bread (I think it's foccacia) is incredible!  I could probably make a whole meal of that!  Also, we've tried tiramisu at various restaurants over the years, and so far, Bravo's has been the best!
