I had a group on coupon and tried this place for the first time, had the chili, the bronco burger, and fries. Â Everything was great!! The waitress was excellent!! Loved her :) Â My nephew had a hang over and she took great care of him. Â She was so friendly and attentive. Â I felt like a regular and I had never been there before!
Review Source:I am a bit of a regular here. But for a good reason. The staff is always on point, it is always pretty busy, but never to crowded to get a drink. The people who hang out here range from 21 to 71 and it is always welcoming and fun. I don't often eat here, however, the hotdogs are amazing! Big dog, grilled and a toasted bun. Not to mention the fries are always perfect. Â Good stop to have a beer and a good time!
Review Source:The Brickhouse does neighborhood bar right. Â The bartenders are friendly as are the regulars who drink here. Â Most of the time I'm there Steve is bartending. Â He's an attentive, friendly guy who is working hard all the time. Â The beer selection is good for a place that is not trying to be a beer bar. Â I'm particularly happy to find Snake Dog IPA on tap. Â
As others have noted there are plenty of TVs which is good if you want to watch a game and perhaps a bit distracting if you just want to talk with friends. Â There are a couple of pool tables if you want to shoot some pool. Â The deck allows for outdoor seating with a view of the parking lot. Â Should you prefer to smoke and drink at the same time you have the option. Â There is bar seating and a few tables and booths. by no means is this a big place.
The food is limited with the kitchen and menu both being very small. Â It seems to me the approach is to do a few menu items and to do them all very well. Â I'm particularly impressed by the burgers they serve. Â I'd put them side by side with a burger from Plan B, Goldburger, or Prime 16 any day. Â They only make 3-4 different burgers, but the buns are excellent fresh bread, the beef is juicy, flavorful, and cooked correctly to whatever temperature you ask for, with fresh tasty toppings. Â The wings are also done well.
The place has a slight identity issue with Finn McCool signs hanging around. Â The bathrooms aren't great but they aren't gross and have definite signs of regular cleaning. Â The jukebox might come on loud enough to drown out your conversation, but I'm betting that if you said something it would be adjusted without hesitation. Â
Overall a very good bar.
