The beer selection: great.
The food selection: confused.
The beer selection was unique and great for anyone interested in a Scottish or British beer lineup.
The food - overall it's okay. The menu was not exactly as expected. There were a lot of options but it was a strange eclectic menu, not what I would think to see on a pub menu. Both me and my significant other felt terrible after eating here.
We probably won't come back. However, unlike some other yelpers our service was fine and we had a pleasant experience with the staff.
What a delightful place this is! My wife and I are fans of all things British and of good pubs of all kinds and this fit the bill perfectly.
FOOD
With standard British fare including bangers & mash, shepherd's pie and so forth, they have a huge menu with loads of other choices so no matter whether you're looking for a gourmet salad, a tasty burger or a chicken quesadilla, you'll probably find something you like. We ordered the Stout Macho Nachos and they were terrific! They also were very filling, as they come in a portion size large enough for four.
SERVICE
The bar was easy to get a table at and the server was efficient and friendly.
PRICING
Prices were reasonable and frankly a bit of a bargain considering the fun, pubby atmosphere and good food to go with it.
AMBIANCE
This place is HUGE!
PARKING
Not a problem. There's a huge lot that should accommodate the entire place.
NOTABLES
There are phrases from famous people written all across the ceiling areas throughout the establishment. Take time to read them because they have some pretty funny things up there.
I had the pulled pork and have definitely have had better. The biggest problem though was when the waitress brought the check she got miffed that we wanted the check split, claiming that you need to ask before she brings it, even though there were clearly three different families at the table. She proceeded to give every one there own check and of course messed those up as well. to finish this will probably not be a return visit.
