The Chicken Bone

Update...If they can't at least keep the place clean enough to pass local health regulations, count me out...

Bottom Line:  Food not bad for a dive bar, but prices have continued to go up and up and up with no corresponding increase in quality, and, sadly, a decrease in quantity!  Wings are definitely better than some of the other local wing joints that we've tried and sauce variety is good, for my taste, but how expensive should a basic fried chicken wing be?  Wings are leftovers for most higher end restaurants.    Now, I fully realize that there is overhead that the restaurant must cover, but enough is enough...and, it's not like they don't make any money on drinks!

For folks like me who have been coming here for 10 years +, the price increases are hard to stomach...used to be able to get a "truckload" of 55 wings for close to $50.  At last check, the "tray" is now down to 45 wings and it's actually more expensive, now in the mid-high $50's.  

Hope "The Bone" will realize that customers pay for value--and rethink their pricing. When customers perceive that they're getting a lot less for their money, they generally start looking elsewhere...

Anyone know of any good wing joints nearby (other than the smoked and fried ones we make at home?  :)  )  Might just have to cross over 128 and head to Buff's Pub...

This place has one of the best environments of any restaurant in the metrowest. Food was spectacular service outstanding. Hot honey sauce was just the perfect amount of bite to it. the burgers also outstanding, especially the black and blue burger. Definitely come here for dinner and the bands that play are awesome.

So disappointing!  My wife and I recently moved to Framingham and wer are very close to the Chicken Bone.  Everyone told us to check it out, for the holidays my brother and his family got us a gift certificate to the chicken bone.  We do a lot of take out. We ordered a little bit of everything.  We were hoping the fries and burgers would be good enough to replace, or at least be an ok alternative to, Lee's in Newton.  It was not.  The food was nothing special and though I can imagine it was better in the restaurant, it did not age well on the car ride home.  
We even gave it a second shot but still the food was gross.  Luckily we found Pepperoncini's.  We will be going there for our take out needs.
