Great selection of food including a kid's menu. Very reasonable prices. The special of the night was a chicken wellington that was very good.

I'm not British - never been to England but  this place is total cliche of what someone must think Yanks would expect to see in pub. Big pic of princess di on hostess  stand (come on),  dark kind of dreary inside contrast to sunny sw florida. Outside patio  area is nice though.  ANY WAY - the food was pretty good overall and the chicken /mushroom pie is fantastic.  Service generally good both times there - but not many folks eating supper at 830 p around here either.

The food here is good and the stag is friendly but the decor and inside is super dated and in season it's very busy with snow birds...not my cup if tea as a local.

Place is cool.  Ordered a french dip and it was good.  Date got the burger, and it was terribly bad.  Their is no way that they hand crafted that, therefore it came straight out of a box.  Not going back.

A quiet British-style pub off 41 in Bonita.  They make a great shepard's pie and other traditional dishes, but the fish n chips is what to go here for.  Best in town.
What I had:  I've been numerous times, but for me it's all about the fish n chips and beer.
Best bet:  When you feel like a dark, cozy restaurant and good English pub food.

Great food and huge portions. Had cottage pie and brought the left overs home and had the next day. Meat was tender with lots of favor.

One bad experience can make you forget all the good times.  I had lunch here today and had the worst experience.  When the waitress Jaclyn came to take my order I asked if there was a size difference between the lunch fish and chips and the dinner.  To which I was told yes.  As I was hungry I ordered the dinner size with extra chips instead of peas. It seemed to take a long time for the food to come out and when it did they brought me cole slaw instead of the extra chips. Whatever right? Didn't matter to me as I ordered the dinner size fish. NOPE, I looked to the table next to me and saw no discernible size difference. As I sat there quietly and politely eating my lunch I watched her check on all of the tables around me and completely ignore mine.  Never mind that she didn't even deliver my food (someone else did) to make matters worse I watched her check on a table that she had already taken the order of. They just got their drinks and placed their order, had only been keeping the booth cushions warm for five minutes!  If she had checked on me she would have learned that the fish portion was small and the bottom was all soggy. Now I've gotten the fish and chips here before and consider it to be the best in all of sw Florida. Which is why I chose to go here instead of Teds Montana Grill for a burger. Not once did she stop to check on me or refill my drink. When she finally dropped off the bill she took my card came back and dropped it off without saying a word. No thank you. The real kicker was that dinner size portion of fish was more than five dollars extra. I left 10 percent as I could never just leave nothing. I hope that was sign enough of my displeasure.

I love the British Open Pub! It's one of my favorite places in Naples/Bonita Springs. Whether you're looking for a nice relaxing pub to catch a football (soccer) match or if you are looking for a cosey place for a good meal the British Open Pub is your place.

The service is always top notch. Bar tenders and wait staff are always nice. The have an outdoor bar is which a great place to catch a soccer game during the day. The restaurant is nicely decorated and really has an English Pub feel to it. The food is always very good.

Highly recommend this place if you are in the mood for some British food in a lovely atmosphere.

Only three stars due to the lack of authentic food. I realize there isn't a large market for real British food in Bonita Springs, but I was really hoping to find some uniquely English dishes instead of the usual greasy favorites of Americans. Nice atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff, clean dining areas, and the outdoor seating is lovely. I hope to come back in the future and see a little more variety in the menu.

Truly enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and food at this popular casual find. While hidden a bit from the road, it is well worth the search. Patio is fun for outdoor dining creating a very laid back and relaxing atmosphere.
The prime rib  and grilled mahi sandwiches were loaded with flavor and served with terrific fries. My companions raved about their side of onion rings. Our server was prompt and attentive. This was a positive lunch experience and hope to return for dinnerl

Very consistent with authentic atmosphere, menu, beer selection - all with truly exceptional service. Lovely outdoor seating area and great indoor English pub-like bar - though many locals do not fancy that aspect - using it as a stop-over on the way to their meal rather than a wonderful place to meet, drink and be happy! Go... enjoy!
Note: breakfast is English breakfast on weekends, beginning at 11:30.
Last visit the hostess was bit gruff and sadly without the expected British accent.
