The place seemed nice enough at first. A friend of ours ordered some food and gytheir bacon was burnt to a crisp. When they complained about it to a waitress she simply replied: "well just don't order anything food from here."

The lack of service gives this place a 1-star.

Reliable Salem fare.  Always good beer available, mixed drinks if that's your preference, and food that is above average.  Try Taco Tuesday if you're in town.

BTL is quite popular with locals; once I couldn't get a table, however I chalk that up to them having had live music that night.  Normally however it's a good place to stop in for a bite to eat and a beer.  Their menu initially looks like pretty standard bar-fare, but looking closer, things get a bit different.  While they do have chicken strips and burgers, they also have a nice selection of wraps if you're in the mood for something a bit lighter and not so fried.  I don't think I've ever had an unsatisfactory meal at BTL, and I would encourage folks to try anything on their menu or one of their specials.

I like this place. Watched a hindi-belly dancing show tonight, which was quite fun & their menu offers some tasty different flavors in both beer and food. Had their tempura battered chicken strips, worth giving a whirl if you like chicken strips.
