Pathetic.

Drove down to Salem last Saturday night to see an AC/DC tribute band called Thunderstruck. They started sound check at 9pm then hung out in a room next to the stage. By 10:15pm they still weren't playing and it didn't appear they ever were. The crowd started asking the members who were walking around when they were going to start playing - they were scheduled to play from 9pm to 11:30pm!!! No answer, they acted like they were put out by the question. This was a total waste of time to drive from Portland; wait over an hour for a bunch of old unknowns in a cover band that no showed.  I really hope you try that when you come to Portland on the 9th because I've given the Tonic Lounge a nice little heads up for ya.  BTW from the very little we heard during sound check, these guys sound like they are an elevator playlist for Muzak and that's a compliment!

If you want to see a great AC/DC cover band see Hell's Bells or ThundHERstruck and for god's sake, don't drive down to Salem!!  These bands would never play down there in a venue that didn't even have their own music playing while waiting for the no-show's.
