The food is better than the location in Orland Park.

That being said - have fun dealing with the vermin that occupy Chicago Ridge Mall.

Decided to finally check out this place found out they have some vegetarian options.  I tried the mac n cheese it was alright not the best I've had. I also got the fried pickles those were pretty tasty and had a little spice to them. The onion rings also tasted good. My ma got the build your own burger said it was good, they forgot to put the bacon. She also got the wings with the sweet bbq sauce said they were good but a little spicy. The atmosphere was cool with the jerseys on the wall. Music was kinda loud had to shout so the person sitting next to me could hear what I was saying and vice versa.

...so BW3 doesn't accept reservations; sorta have to just wait.  We waited for over 47 minutes in a long, long line of people (on a non-game night), which is typical of a sport-themed bar chain.  Once seated, we waited another 10-15 minutes for service, almost a half hour for luke-warm wings to arrive & another half hour before our waiter came back to ask if we needed anything else (he was flirting at the bar).  He screwed up part of our order, causing for a longer wait for one person's order (they did take it off of the bill), so we all had to share our items to keep him from losing his temper all together, & the only reason he came by to assist us was because I flagged a bus boy cleaning the table next to us and asked him for assistance.  I went with a group of 6 (5 being big guys; like football-player sized).  Needless to say, they were super hungry & being made to wait they were very frustrated.  The waiting made us lose our appetite so we wound up taking most of our items home.

Again, expect ghetto whenever a venue is located within a mall location.  It was very uncomfortable to wait & eat there.  I am starting to like the far  from the city burbs more and more these days!

A better one than others nearby.. Only problem is that because is within the mall there is always a long wait and forget about getting a table on Fridays & Saturdays at least not for an hour. Try seating at the bar for some reason they have a faster service there.

Con: It is very loud in there if you like that kind of environment. The wait to seat 3 people was over 40 minutes.
    Pro: 60 cents boneless Thursday.

Their boneless wings are delicious! My favorite is the hunny BBQ with ranch dipping sauce! They also have great Long Island drinks that are worth the price.

Let me start this out by saying I LOVE Buffalo Wild Wings.  This review is based on the service, not the food.  I recently placed a phone order and went in to pick up my order.  It was a Thursday night, and football was on, so they were noticeably busy both for dine in and carry out orders, which is understandable.  I was told my order would take 15 minutes, so I gave it about 20 just to be sure.  When I finally got there, I had to wait in a line for about 5-7 minutes just to get up to the counter to ask for my food.  I told the cashier my name, and she couldn't find it in the computer.  I repeated what I had ordered, and she had no record of it being in there.  Then another employee came over and and they both looked to the side counter, and there was my order, still sitting there.  No one had ever put it in, so it wasn't even in the process of being made yet.

The woman at the counter told me it would just be one minute, that the wings would be ready I would just have to wait for the side dish I ordered.  I said fine, and sabout 5-7 minutes later they bring out the food.  When you order takeout, they make sure to open the food and show you that you are getting what you ordered, and you have to sign off on your receipt before you leave.  So she goes to show me my food, and the side dish was the wrong thing.  At this point, I was frustrated and just wanted to get my food and go, so I said I would take the order the way it was.  The woman said no, that she was sure they had just switched it and that what I actually had ordered was just in the kitchen.  I said ok, and she took the wrong item away, leaving my wings on the counter.  Well they must not have made the side dish that I ordered, because 5 minutes go by, and she still hadn't come back yet.  Meanwhile peoples orders are being brought out, and my wings are on the counter being pushed back and forth by employees who are giving other people their food/verifying there orders.  After about 10 minutes of waiting, I had a visibly frustrated look on my face, and one of the other employees said she was going to go in back and check on what happened to my food.  Just as she was about to go in back, the first employee came out with the correct side dish.  By this time, my wings had been sitting on the counter for about 10 minutes, being handled/pushed back and forth by different people etc.  I was not happy at all.

They did briefly say they were sorry for the mixup, and I was given a $5 coupon for next order, but I really don't feel like this justifies what happened here.  I placed an order on the phone, which wasn't ready when I went to pick it up.  Then when it finally was ready, it was the wrong food, which I gladly would have taken just to get the hell out of there, but I was told the correct food would be out in a minute, and had to wait another 10, while part of my order was left to get cold and man handled.  It really left a sour taste in my mouth for BWW, and like I said I Love BWW...

The service hear is hit or miss. My boyfriend and I once had some girl (whose name I can't remember because she was terrible) that took/brought our orders way wrong and the food was cold every time someone attempted to correct it. She never apologized for the wait or checked to see if we were doing okay. It took entirely too long and she seemed to grow tired of us and had her co-worker deliver fries to us to compensate (which was of no help seeing as how I specifically substituted the fries that came with my order for onion wings because I hate their fries). When I told her "I didn't want fries" she responded "we'll they're free so take them".  Although, the last time we went we had a server named Chris who made the experience extremely enjoyable. He was very polite and I overheard him speak to another customer saying "I remember you from last time. Let me guess. You'd like a Blue moon" and I thought that was really cool. While he served us, the girl from the time before kept looking at us like we were wrong for coming back and told all of her friends about us. MY MAIN TIP: ASK FOR CHRIS M!!!

We decided to drop in for a few beers, one Sunday evening a few weeks ago after scouring Oaklawn for a lively patio. ( Side Note:  The South burbs are kinda lame when it comes to outdoor dinning.  We tried several bar/grills in Oaklawn and Chicago Ridge, and they were all without a pulse..  I was on the verge of taking a trip North to the land of outdoor dinning, but was lucky to find that BW3 was alive and kicking this beautiful evening.)

So fast forward to the good part.. Finally chilling in the patio with a cold beer and NFL pre-season action..  Yup.. they have a few flat screens outside to keep you entertained.    We ordered a dozen bbq wings and a dozen blazing dry rub wings, and some fries.   The Bbq wings were pretty good, a little too sweet for my liking but that didn't stop me from enjoying them.   The dry rubbed wings were ok, not the best choice, in my opinion, as the chicken was dry and a bit tough.

Next time I will have to try a few other flavor wings and one of the burgers.

    The verdict:
Good place to watch sports and hang out with friends over a few cold beers and grub on some decent bar food..

Bonus:  the patio is a nice spot to hang out and catch a game.

    It's really not all that..

The food is alright and out of the couple times I've been here the service wasn't bad. However, I do believe there are way better places for wings than Bdubs. If you do decide to go though try the Mango Habanero flavor.

The wings at this location seem to be small. I ate 9 wings and I was still hungry. There was no meat, just a lot of bone.

I normally do takeout. Average pickup time is about 15 mins. Only if there's no big games happening during that time. A lot of times they are ready after they tell you their estimated finished time. Very clear on the phone and they asked nicely for any add-ons. Ordering pickup is good if you don't want to wait during peak hours.

I love wings, and I typically love BWW. This location, however, really makes me wonder why I keep coming back.

The service here blows. Every time I walk in there are no less than 5 employees standing behind the kiosk, and they all look annoyed and clueless. When the place is empty, my wait is still "Just 10 minutes?" Why? Because you're pretending to be busy on a Tuesday afternoon?

My servers always seem to think I'm 5 years old. "Are we hungry today or what?" Just for once I'd like to respond with, "Or what. Definitely or what."

Drinks are always so-so. It's a good place to go see a game with a group, but if you're going to lunch or dinner, there are better places in Chgo Ridge, Oak Lawn, and Evergreen. Hell, even the Panera in the mall isn't that bad comparatively.

Came here after a very long day of travel. The server was nice but spoke to my colleague and I like we were seven (are we still hungry today?)

I ordered wings and a bacon cheeseburger.

The burger was pretty good. The wings tasted like a pair of ASICS GT-2140 Men's running sneakers.

Giving them three stars instead of two because they had a lot of TVs and our outside seats had an outlet nearby. Perfect for charging my phone to write this review.

I came here solo one night and sat at the bar for a couple of beers, quick dinner, and to see the basketball on the giant screen. This place is the worst. The servers & bar staff could all use a refresher course in everything. Who makes a black and tan in giant pilsner glass? Who uses Bass out of the bottle to make a black and tan? If you can't get Bass on draft, don't serve black and tans. I ordered a chicken wrap. Meh.
The food was horrible, the service stunk, the people were annoying. I just did not like anything about any minute I spent in this place.

I usually go to this BWW and the one in Orland Park and I like the servers here better than in Orland Park.  In my visits, the servers are peppier and friendlier.  On my last visit, I think the waitresses name was Tara, she was very conversational.
It's usually hard to find parking near the building because it is located in the mall, but at least you'll eventually find a parking spot because it is a mall.
Wait times can get long--I've waited as much as 45 minutes, and it always packed when I go.  There are a lot of TVs and projector screens to watch games on.  I've never had any issues with cleanliness or the food and drink.  I like the wings here but I must admit that I like Wing Stop better.  Still, this is a nice place to hang out with your friends and kick back a few drinks.

I love BWW, but this location is terrible for carryout. I've only been there twice, and both times they forgot a part of my order! Now, I realize that they painstakingly go through the order and make you sign it. However, when you are ordering for a large group, it's not quite easy to remember what everyone is having. The first time I let the missing part of my order go, but the last time I called. They basically said, sorry, it's your fault and wouldnt give me a refund for the $5 part of my order that I didnt get. Umm.... yeah.... I think I'll be going down the block to Hooters from now on. Maybe instead of making the to-go people go through the order one by one, you should give me the recipt and let me do it myself, as I have at least a high school education, unlike most of the people working there.

    Aahhh... Good old BDubs.

Well the wait to get a table isn't the best and it's even worst when they're airing sports events. Needless to say it's all about the wings and the large variety of sauces from mildest to hottest (please! avoid the Blazing sauce at all cost, its spiciness is beyond your expectations.)

The service is great and the waiters are very attentive. The crowds are lively because it's always packed. They have a large beer selection but, the Modelo tasted watered down like a mofo.

Overall, it's a good place to feast on 100 wing platter while watching sport events.

I have never been here so my BFF thought it would be fun to have some drinks and some good ole chicken! I loved the different flavors and french fries I must say though you have to eat it there while its hot because the second time around we did take out and it is not good when its cold.

I do love the Wild Wings, but this time around I wanted to try the other sauces I have not tried in the past.  I asked for the barbeque sauce with a kick by request of the server, she said it was one of there most sought after taste, but for me it was week. No kick, just barbeque flavor. Not for me. I like my wings HOT, so of course I had a few more sauces. You can usually get more than 3 and the choices are not bad.

The beer of the day was a good 16 oz and it went perfect with the meal, and of course, like always I need my friend pickles! In cornmeal batter? WHAT!

I love B-DUBS.  Just not this location.  I have been to many of them and have never ever been disappointed.  They were all well ran and well staffed.  So when I heard one was opening close to me (no more trips to Orland). I was excited.

And then I was DISAPPOINTED.  Terrible wait times, cold food, bad service, inexperienced staff by the boatload.  I truly expected better.

And the planning for the location to me seems ill-thought.  This location is too small for the amount of traffic it receives(hour-and-a-half waiting times?).

Go to Orland or ANY othe Buffalo Wild Wings or prepare to be disappointed like me, my wife, and all my friends.

I should apologize first because we went to this place a week ago and I didn't have time to type my review out fresh but i'll do my best to recall it.

So my boyfriend and I have been to this Buffalo Wild Wings once before. We were so excited to to be there since the one in Chicago is so bland. Our service wasn't too bad for an afternoon and our food came quickly. But our most recent visit on December 16th was the absolute worst.

We got in and it was 4pm, most people were already eating. Our server named Melanie took our order and took off in a hurry. I usually have my sauce on the side but she didn't ask whether I wanted blue cheese and celery with my food (it wasn't Wing Tuesday so i'm pretty sure I was supposed to have this choice given to me). We then waited for at least 30 minutes for our food while people were leaving the restaurant...not exactly a busy kitchen so whats the excuse here? We never saw "Melanie" during this time period despite looking bored and frustrated. Our food arrived finally with my boyfriend's wings getting ranch sauce on the side that wasn't even asked for. The wings were dry as if they had been sitting out for 5-10 minutes. Seriously? We never saw "Melanie" again until the very end when she asked half-heartedly "is everything ok guys?" No smile, no apology at any time during our time there.

Quite possibly one of the worst times i've ever had at a restaurant. I've had better service at the BW3 in Galesburg on a Saturday! This is just inexcusable. I'll stick with Hooters in Oak Lawn before coming back to this shithole.

Wings are ok...tends to attract a ghetto type crowd.  Long waits for food..the server screwed up the order.  Don't go out of your way to get to this place.  It's just ok.

Always busy, this place is a welcome addition to the area.

The food is still 'meh' though.

For the best wings, I'd go to Chuck's on 79th. I'll never go back to this BW3 for wings!  :-)

I'm a huge fan of "BW3!" Needless to say, I was very excited to see one open near my work!

Now, I know that stores in this chain can vary in quality. I think the Bolingbrook one is outstanding, and of course the Chicago original is too. But the differences are usually minimal. Here, however, there is a major difference. For one thing, they're not organized. BW3's are usually very crowded and tend to attract large tables compared to other restaurants, particularly on weekends. They depend on good organization and communication between staff, kitchen and customer for things to function smoothly. Staff can't treat the customers like they're at a Ruby Tuesday's in da' hood, in other words.

Here, this organization is lacking at this point. When you walk up to the take-out counter you will find a mob of customers, three or four staff members tripping over each other behind the tiny counter, and several bags of carry out just sitting there that they have to rummage through each time someone asks about an order. They don't use the flashing discs or even a PA that I heard, which causes the bags to really pile up, slowing things down.

Wait times are way longer than at a typical BW3 so think twice before figuring you'll just walk in, order, grab a beer and wait a few minutes. That might turn into 2-3 beers at this one! Good news is the draft beer selection, specials, and clean cold taste (a Miller Lite draft always tastes better at a BW3, much like a fountain Coke always tastes better at McD's) are intact at this store!

And yea, they make mistakes with the orders. For my first visit, I got the dreaded boneless switcharoo that Jack K. suffered. Boneless wings, in my opinion, are sacrilege to the wing concept, but I ate 'em and liked 'em, so as to avoid wading back into the mob scene at the counter and then waiting another 30 minutes for them to fix it. The second time they got it right and the wings were fine. It was $.40 wing night and I give 'em props for normal sized wings. BW3 is notorious for giving out small wings on this night. The third time, they forgot my blue cheese (which I caught) and stiffed me out of four wings (which I didn't catch until I got home). The two boxes said "9" on them when there were only 6 and 8 wings in them respectively. They were also undercooked, and dominated by drumsticks. Bottom line - scrutinize your order before leaving!

I realize the store is new. I also realize the BW3 scheme is about as complex as the Chicago Bears 46 defense. So I think the other comments are a bit harsh. Still, this store was planned for how long? And given the complexity of the company's system, shouldn't the employees have been trained in advance, as opposed to throwing the poor kids into it and letting them figure it out? This may cost them customers, particularly since Tilted Kilt, which also has good wings (and hotties!) is about to open 200 yards from it.

Overall, it is a BW3 and should be ok once they settle in. I will still go there and it's a welcome addition to the area. But, if you're a regular at the Orland or Bolingbrook stores, I'd definitely keep going there until some time passes and things get better sorted. Two stars.

I had to edit my last review of one star. The first time I went it was terrible and it took months for me to ever go back. But I understand they were working the bugs out. Have been back twice since and both times I enjoyed myself. I still am not crazy about their food presentation but it is pretty good. I will go back and enjoy some boneless wings and a few beers occasionally. I guess BWW is starting to grow on me.

I love Buffalo Wild Wings' Orland location.  When I heard a location was opening in Chicago Ridge, I was VERY excited. I ordered 18 teriyaki wings for carryout the week they opened.

    And then it happened.

I got to the car, and they screwed up the wings - Gave me boneless, not traditional.  But, I waited 10 minutes, and they fixed it.  I got the wings home...they were dry and bland.  Not at all like the Orland ones.

I decided to give them another try a week later, chalking it up to the recent grand opening.

This time, they burned my buffalo chips and the wings were STILL terrible - No flavor and very dry.

I gave them 2 chances, and both times, they screwed up AND the wings were just bad.  I've had good wings from this restaurant.  But this location just doesn't seem to care.
