So we called this place to see if they would be showing the SJ Earthquakes game, and they said they would be. So got there at 7:30, just in time for the start of the game. They sat us down right away. When we sat down we asked them about the soccer game and they told us that they wouldn't be showing it. WHAT? We just came all this way and now you aren't showing it. So me and hubby were about to leave, but then they told us they found the game for us. They even moved us to another table so we had the perfect view of the TV. That was really cool.
We got the mild buffalo wings, which still seemed prett hot to me. I wonder what the hot ones taste like. But even though they were hot, they were really good. The hubby then got a chicken sandwich and I got a spinach/artichoke flat bread. It was ok. I was proud of myself for getting something healthy with vegetables, but there is so much cheese that it didn't seem healthy.
I really liked that they let us stay there for the whole game even though we finished eating by half time. Never at any time did we feel rushed. It wasn't totally packed even thought they had the A's and Giants game on. But I wonder what it would be like during football season.
I had a gift certificate I had to use. This is not a place I usually patronize except they used to have a pinball machine here which is now gone. If you're into sports, you'll love this place. They have flatscreens throughout the restaurant showing all of the various sports games.
It wasn't too busy on the nights I've gone in. I had wings this time around and even the medium one was a bit on the spicier side. Last time I got a flatbread thing. Overall, this place is AOK if you want to drink and eat while watching a game of your choice.
Otherwise, it's like any other sports bar. The calorie content is a bit astounding though. It makes me think twice about eating out.
Went there yesterday (Saturday) for lunch with wife and kids. Coming from the Midwest, BWW has been a staple beer and comfort food place for years. Sadly, consistent "meh" experiences at this specific location (Dublin, CA) have pretty much killed the BWW cravings for us and yesterday just put the nail in the coffin.
The front door staff was great, always friendly and accommodating with our seating requests (we try to get something that will help corral the kids!). As usual, the wait staff set the tone for the meal. Our waiter yesterday just looked like he didn't want to be there. Or maybe he was just bored. Or maybe he hated his job...or his life from what I could tell. He kept putting his order pad away after each item we ordered and as we kept going with our order, had to keep pulling the pad out of his apron. Made me feel like I was inconveniencing him with our order!
Then, as has happened on every one of our prior visits to this location, our order came out with something screwed up. Is it really that difficult to write it down the right way when we order the first time??? It's become so bad that my wife and I make bets on what item from the order will get screwed up. To top it off, and again, like every other visit, the wings came out essentially dry. If I wanted just dry, breaded chicken, I would go to KFC. C'mon people, this is Buffalo Wild Wings...GET SOME SAUCE ON THAT BIRD PUH-LEASE!!!!!!!! I don't know if there's a statewide shortage on BWW sauce in California or what, but in the Midwest, the wings are swimming in sauce. Here on the west coast, I have to beg, plead, and damn near steal from the neighboring table to get some sauce for my wings.
Yesterday was the first time in a long time that I've been stingy with the tip, but I'm just too tired to put the effort into pulling money out for service and food that we didn't receive...or maybe I was just bored...or hated my life since I found myself at this specific BWW again... =p
The atmosphere of this place is nice and I may come back with the guys to catch a game and have some beers at the bar (although with BJs just around the corner, is there even a point???). But as for sit down with the family type meals, sadly this BWW has fallen off the list.
I also noticed a sign yesterday that because of the UFC fight that would be shown in the restaurant, everyone over the age of 12 still inside at 7pm would be charged a $10 cover charge...SERIOUSLY???? Then again, if the service and order accuracy we experienced is any indication, these guys need to make money any way they can.
We got right in for lunch over the weekend. Friendly greetings from the two girls. Got our drinks ordered right away. The server was fast and checked back with us often with one exception... The bill. Seems we waited quite awhile for her to come by and give us the bill. She disappeared and I was ready to pay. Our table and the table next to us waited awhile until someone different picked up the check and went off to process it. Came right back and that was that. Everything was great until we had to wait awhile to get the check.
Review Source:Had dinner here a week ago and had the wings, duh. The wings were okay... however note-to-self, the "Hot" is pretty damn hot. The other flavors were pretty good and the service was just fine.
The only thing that was kinda weird was that when you walk in, the hostess / host told us "I'm not allowed to give out wait times, we'll just let you know when your table is available." huh? I've worked in the restaurant biz for a few years and that's the first time I ever heard that. We were lucky enough to get a bar table, but it kinda sucked cuz it was hard to fit 3 beers and 20 wings on the table.
Food was good but the service especially coming from the manager and security!!!!!!!!!!!!!the security yelp to me"go!!!!!right now!!!!"after I paid the check.
Long story short, I went on a Saturday night around 6:30pm with my friends to watch the nba playoffs. Like usual they had many sports turned on (nba, MLB, NHL, etc) including UFC.  We ordered our food and then a little past 7pm the security came over to us and asked for $10 each in order for us to stay.  We asked why and he said it was for UFC fights.  I'm like ok but we are not here for UFC, we are here to watch basketball.  I didn't receive any notice from the servers or hostesses and even the server said he had no clue what's going on when I asked him. They claimed to have put up a sign at the door but i never saw it!  So dumb and a poorly run business too because if they are going to host a UFC event then they should inform people after they get sitted and turn off the other sports!  Isn't Buffalo wild wings always known for as sports bar?  Since when did they turn into a UFC bar? We have freedom in America to watch other sports besides UFC right?  Then the guy asked his manager to come over and they demanded if we don't pay then they will kick us out.  My friends and I didn't even finish our food and drinks yet! What assholes!  The security guard watched us finish our food like we are prisoners! So disrespectful!  They kicked the table next to us out and those people were furious!  After what happened tonight  I swear I will never go back.  My wallet belongs to another sports bar and they can lick it!! I strongly suggest not to go unless you want to pay an extra $10 to watch TV sports!
Worst place ever! Food was good but the service especially coming from the manager and security guard was horrific! I have never been to a Buffalo Wild Wings that charge you $10 suddenly after you ordered your food for the UFC fights. Â I have been going to this Buffalo Wild Wings for over a year and they never had this policy before.

Oh after I walked out, I looked for the sign at the door. Â Indeed there is one but guess what? You have to lift your head and read it very closely to see what it says!
I'm grew up eating BW3s so my review is biased. Â This is how my I like my chicken wings-period. Â The buffalo chips and Nacho burger are also my favorites. Â Above average beer selection.
Downsides- the service is not as 'tight' as it should be for a corporate-directed restaurant. Â I hate it when I come to a food and drink establishment and my beer glass have been empty for a long period of time (15 mins or more) and my server hasn't asked if I want a second. Â This is very common in the Bay Area- I still haven't figured out why this happens- maybe I drink my beer too fast?.
These are definitely on my top 3 wings I have ever had. If you're a wingstop fan, you better get on over to Buffalo Wild Wings and try some wings that have meat on them.
However, I had the mango habanero the other day and they were more spicy than usual. So spicy, in fact, that my lips were burning and I had to put cold water around my mouth afterwards. I would say that usually the mango habanero is really delicious, but this was just too much for me.
Great selection of drinks (favorites: mojitos and pear cider). Decent selection of bar food...I'd recommend the wings (of course), especially the honey BBQ wings, and perhaps the sampler which includes some delicious fresh chips, soft pretzels, some super spicy wings. I also tried sweet BBQ wings but wasn't a fan -- too salty (ironically).
Ambiance is decent and there's plenty of seating and TV screens around showing various things from sports to poker.
Happy hour is decent but you don't really save THAT much ($1 off a certain selection of pints). Also, their clock is at least 3 minutes faster than official time, so keep that in mind. We ordered some things from happy hour menu at 5:57 PM (happy hour ends at 6 PM)...waitress came back a minute later and says, "Sorry, our computer says 6:02 PM now". I showed her official time on my phone which was had just turned 6:00 PM and she couldn't do anything about it. Oh well, it's a $1...whatevs.
DO NOT GO HERE!
I came to eat here with my husband and the waitress never brought us our dessert. She dropped the check in silence and walked away. I asked her what happened with the dessert and she immediately gave me attitude and did not apologize. My husband explained how unprofessional that was and she shouted at us, "IT'S JUST AN ICE CREAM!" This got me so upset being that I was a waitress for 10 years and I know you do not treat customers this way so I yelled back at her (which I regret)....then security came and kicked us out!!! Like if we were some kind of hoodlums. The real hoodlum is their waitress! I made multiple attempts to contact the manager Steve to file a complaint and he NEVER returned my call. Bottom line, never going to this unprofessional restaurant again.
This place is good. I've tried the mango habanero and boy that spice is quite a kick but I was yummy, the sauce was perfect, the sweet an salty balanced out nicely. I've also had the Parmesan garlic, it wasn't my favorite but it was good, the sauce is creamy and quite filling. One of my favorite places to get wings !
Atmosphere is good, friendly service, bar, TVs all around.
I freaking love BWW.
They offer the most amount of sauces and almost every single one of them is edible unlike other wing places!
Can't forget about the awesome interactive games they have there for you to play while you wait for food and to play while you eat your food. Bring a good size group of friends and play the games (buzztime I think one is the name of one) and you will not regret it. Well, until you have to use the restroom if you have the Blazin' wings HAHAHA
Give it a go!
The service here got better. Last night plenty of servers and our waiter made sure we were okay and they were very attentive in checking if we were trying to get their attention. We got our food in less than 10 minutes! We ordered the jalapeno poppers, 18 wings (salt & vinegar, blazin', and some jalapeno spice flavor). The blazin' (the spiciest on the menu) does not play. The sauce was VERY good, but it was hella spicy! On my second chicken, my mouth and lips were burning already, so I had to eat it hella fast. After that I spent a good 10 min waiting for my mouth to calm down before I continued eating. The 2nd spiciest, wild, which I've had before was way too mild for me, it wasn't spicy at all. I'm sad there's no flavor that is halfway in between wild & blazin =[. Unless they messed up on my wild wings and got me a very mild flavor =/.
Salt & vinegar is probably the best flavor I've had here. March madness was going on when I went. Great place to watch sports!
Keyword here: Â Consistency
No matter when I come, it is consistently good. Â Sure it's loud. Â Big whoop, you are at a bar. Â If you wanted somewhere quiet, go to a wine bar or something. If you want nice chubby wings, get your ass to Buffalo Wild Wings!
Wingstop is garbage, original buffalo is garbage, enjoy the variety of flavors and spicyness with Bdubs. Â I've been to bdubs in houston and here and the experience is the same. Â Would I say that the service is outstanding? For what it is, sure! Â Â They joke around with you, smile, fast, friendly service.
Kudos and enjoy your wings!
African Americans be ware! KRISTA will come running out of the restaurant if she ASSUMES that you did not pay your bill. I will NEVER patronize this establishment. First time and last time ever at this location. Not only did she accuse us, but she was rude and smart with us when we told her not to accuse of us. Basically dared me to talk to the manager about this! @bwwings I guess they train their staff to chase patrons out of the restaurant "I do this to everyone!"-KRISTA
Review Source:Always a good choice for a pot luck party. I got three orders of fried pickels (frickles) for our Friday Pre Super Bowl Pot Luck Party. Each order was pretty decent sized. I was amazed at how many people had never tried a frickle before. Everyone loved them.
I wish they would open a BWW in Walnut Creek or Concord rather than another one in Livermore.
While their wings and fries do taste phenomenal, this review is strictly for their phone and take out orders.
They have just the ONE girl operating the phone on Game Day. Like, seriously? I called them a dozen times only to hit their voicemail. Which ended up in us taking a trip down there to place orders for wings. Not only was the line to take out really long,, I would have also had to place the order after coming to the front of the line, and then have to stand back in line again to pick my order up.
Seriously, when you know it's game day, get the extra help, PLEASE.
Game Day didn't go boom, it went bust.
A-OK exactly.
I come here for games on the PAC12 network because I don't get the games at home. I'd recommend eating before you come..
Good beer selection and tvs are why you come here.
Can't say anything good or bad about the service. Hasn't been memorable.
I would avoid BWW if I could.. but it's close and will have the game I can't get at home.
Review based on Wings only.
I've tried 8 of the flavors - here's my priority:
1. Thai Curry
2. Jammin' Jalapeno
3. Salt & Vinegar
4. Dessert Heat Seasoning
5. Lemon Pepper (I believe it's lemon pepper...haha)
6. Caribbean Jerk
7. Mango Habanero
8. Spciy Garlic
Warning: When they mean hot/spicy, they really mean it! Mango Habanero was sooooooooo spciy that I was literally crying when I was eating it!
Oh and don't forget to get a Pear Cider. It was delicious!
They let me order off the kid's menu at lunch! That was my favorite part to the visit. Their menu lists calorie counts which is REALLY scary when you realize that a lot of the chicken options are over 1000 calories! I wasn't feeling terribly hungry when I came here on a weekday for lunch with a few coworkers. So I really wasn't sure I could eat four chicken tenders. It's a good thing the server was so accommodating and let me order the kid's chicken tenders because these were giant! Three chicken tenders with ranch dipping sauce on the side and fries were a hugely filling meal. My coworker commented that this was a kid's meal for a growing 12 year old boy, and I totally agree! The server was great, and he even let us put our meals on three separate bills, one for each of us. He was extremely attentive and came by multiple times to check on us.
The ambiance inside the restaurant is a bit dark, but it makes it easier to see all of the massive flat screen tv's that they have inside playing sports channels. There is a ton of seating too, including a section with stool seating and tall tables as well as a regular section with regular-height tables and chairs.
One thing I found really weird was that practically all of our food came in paper trays! The chicken came in a tray, my fries came in a tray, the sticks of celery and carrots came in trays. I just hope that all of this gets composted because it seems sort of wasteful.
I'm glad that Buffalo Wild Wings is a lunch option close to Livermore!
This review is solely based on their customer service. Actually, let me rephrase that. This rating is solely based on management's response. This establishment's customer service gets a 0 from me. Why is it that low? Oh because the service was horrible from start and it was so horrible that I couldn't even experience the food. I've been wanting to try out a BWW restaurant for a while now. I finally got the chance to try it with my friend two nights ago.
Perhaps we went there at the wrong time -- if there was such a thing when it comes to eating out at restaurants.
When I walked up to the hostess, I didn't get a "hello" or any form of greeting. What did I get? "Are you with so-and-so?" No, I didn't catch the name because whatever she was asking had nothing to do with "Hi, how many in your party?" The only thing I could do was stare at her like she grew another head. When she realized there was a mistake, she asked, "Are you driving/drinking?"
Hi, yes I'm driving. No, I'm not drinking. What does that have to do with me wanting a table to eat at? Actually, shouldn't you be asking that AFTER I got a table? You didn't even offer for us to sit at the BAR before asking that. What is your PROBLEM? I wasn't quite sure what kind of answer she was looking for ...
Sure, you could say, "Don't come here if you're not going to watch the games. Of course she would ask because everyone drinks when they're watching the game!! What are you so mad about when she was only caring about your safety?!"
Hi. I've never been to a BWW before. I do not know how it works. I do not know why it would matter that I drank or not before getting a table. I want the food here, not the games. Just because I walked in during a fabulous time for "game watching" does not automatically mean I am here for the games. Learn not to assume and/or judge and we'll get along just peachy. I felt insulted through this whole ordeal.
We finally get to the point that I want a table for two and she proceeded to tell me the real deal. There are 3 games that are going to happen in about a few minutes. And everyone in there are here for the games so they won't be leaving. The games last for an hour, therefore, the wait is an hour.
That's fabulous. You know what we did? We left. What did we end up eating? Chipotle. And you know what they did right? They said, "Hi :)"
Later that night, I wrote to management. This ONE star is for management's quick response to my horrible experience at this establishment. I got an apology and a $5 off offer. I'm not greedy, I don't want to be rude, and I do appreciate the response and the offer. However, I do not want it. At my standpoint, the $5 is offensive. It doesn't even cover the gas it takes to get to your location so please. I rather save my gas, save my time, save the horrible memories, and go somewhere that I know I'll be treated right -- or at least where they will say "hello" to me.
Will not be returning.
Jammin Jalapeno was our favorite last night! Â Sweet and sticky with some crunchiness! Â We should have ordered 12 instead of 6.
Service was great until our waitress went on a break and her replacement "took care of us". Â Took FOREVER to get her to give us our check. Â But the food came in good time and we got free chips because they brought us chips instead of the nachos... which we were content on eating while we waited for the nachos and our wings.
I know this is a sports bar and its football/baseball season.  But I'd love a screen with something other than sports.  Maybe Gilmore Girls? Or Magic Mike or some kind of girly thing on.  hahaha  I can dream can't I?
I had my going away dinner here for my last job. It was awesome to watch some football or other sports. The place was completely packed. I don't know how we even got a table without a reservation, oh well.
Service was great and attentive. We really didn't have too many issues.
The food wasn't all that. I've had better chicken. I actually prefer wingstop over BWW but it's hard to be the Thursday night deal. I think it's like .50 cent boneless wings. I forget what I got but it wasn't all that.
The atmosphere is what you come for. Lots of rowdy bay area fans, lots of drinks and beer and decent food.
Ugh....I should have know this place would be a disappointment.
I should have know with the mediocre name as well with the sub-par black and orange logo/sign, that this place would not be anything spectacular.
I am really not much of a wings type gal as it is however, after going to Wing Stop and being incredibly impressed, I figured this place would be worth checking out also, considering it had a full bar as well a full menu with other items other than wings.
The atmosphere is extremely lively and entertaining, with huge flat screen t.v. mounted on just about every wall, It basically has " I am man" written all over the place. I also found it to be way to dark for my liking.
The place was just starting to get busy. We got a nice booth facing the rest of the restaurant.
Our server greeted us immediately and asked for our drinks. I went with a Blue Moon Beer ( they have an extensive beer menu to choose from) and my babe got a Diet Coke ( I know the opposite ) lol
I was in a toss of whether or not I should get wings or something else but I figured being there know for there wings, I would give those wings a shot. They also have the calorie content listed for every single item which almost made me reconsidering eating there but ya live once right? Just wish these calories were worth it.
They have quite the selection of wings to chose from with just about every kind of flavor you can think of. I went with a 12 wing with your choice of two flavors. I went with the Garlic Parmesan and the Jammen Jalapeno. My babe went with the nuggets of the reg BBQ and garlic Parmesan.
Our wings arrived within a good time though, laying with in little to go like out door containers..Really? So needless to say, presentation sucked. Wings were larger than Wing stop's though, just drenched in the so called garlic Parmesan sauce. The garlic Parmesan wings were far in comparison to Wing stop and had an extremely highly processed artificial taste almost leaving a slight sour aftertaste. The Jammen Jalepeno wings were definitely better and fairly decent though, nothing worth Jammen about : )
Overall, the atmosphere I can see would be great for party's and watching the game but certainly not a place to engage in good convo. The wings were on the verge of horrible, I  also thought they were a little pricey considering what you got. The service started off good but then gradually dissipated in to thin air  ( as in they were vacant for the rest of our stay) Good beer selection though, I can now see why they have such a large selection which may be only to mask the sub par (need to be buzzed to enjoy) food.
Definitely not in my future to come back.
Cool service, waiter told us to fill out a survery from our receipt and we got $7 off! Redeemed it right then and there from my smart phone!
Here are the flavors we tried:
Mango Habanero
Spicy Garlic
Asian Zing (or something)
Salt and Vinegar
My favorite was the Salt and Vinegar and the Mango Habanero! Although the Mango Habanero was nowhere near spicy (on my scale, anyway).
There was a new server being trained...on us! You did good. Great service, good food.
Also try out the Flat Bread, Caribbean Jerk!
Went here to watch the preseason Raider games. We found a table at the bar and they were quick to serve us drinks, and it was consistently making sure we have enough alcohol. We tried the nachos and the three of us thought the Chili is was tasted sweet.
We only had a few appetizer dishes and didn't really want to eat just to watch the game. The service was good overall and we weren't disappointed with anything. What's great is they have a lot of TV screens to watch the different games going on.
This definitely beat Hooter's in Dublin any day to watch games.
I'm a big fan of buffalo wings (and chicken wings in general) and Buffalo Wild Wings is definitely not the best.
I haven't had many of the items on the menu but I have had the buffalo wings (the main feature) and i am not impressed. You can tell you are eating wings that are being MASS produced. And (i wish i had a picture) the appearance of the wings is SO ouff-putting! Their buffalo wings are a bright orange color - like they're covered in cheese-wiz or something!! Buffalo wings should be a deep orange.... not tangerine.
In spite of the unimpressive food my service here has always been okay. They are accommodating if you want to move tables or need something. And it's easy to get seated there at lunch time - which is good. But the quality of the food is NOT worth the price you pay.
Buffalo Wild Wings is the McDonald's of wing restaurants.... you don't go to McDonald's if you want a gourmet hamburger and you don't go to Buffalo Wild Wings if you want great buffalo wings....
