Bummer. This place is struggling to obtain reasonable quality in terms of food, ambience, and service. I should give it a one star.
The place was dead when we arrived. I only point this out because this should indicate that food would need to be freshly cooked.
Our wings were cold and dabbed with clumps of sauce. This presentation is not even close to wings being freshly fried served up hot spun in sauce. The wings were so cold, the sauce was clumped in spots and not melting.
The Buffalo Chips (thick cut potato slices) were cold and mushy. Again, not freshly cooked.
The carrots were dehydrated and covered in white oxidization. The celery was cold, hydrated, and crisp.
They were really promoting their "March Madness" events so we were hoping to enjoy the games with all the hype. From my seating position, there were 13 screens. Only one small screen had the basketball game showing. The other screens ranged from hockey to bowling. The biggest screen in my view as bowling. I asked for a screen change so they added another smaller screen to the basketball showing. Oh well, nice try.
I won't even discuss the poor service from the serve to the manager. It's not worth the trouble to document it.
We ate our lame food and paid the inflated cost and ran home as quick as possible in order not to miss any more of the game.
Sadly, I will think that in the future that this BWW won't be on my list of places to go.
I love Buffalo Wind Wings! Â I know it's a chain and chains aren't cool on Yelp, but I don't care in this instance. Â Buffalo Wind Wings has really good wings with a huge variety of delicious flavors.
There are TVs everywhere you look, service is generally pretty good, and cleanliness is not an issue. Â The Caribbean Jerk sauce is pure heaven. Â I typically only go for lunch because they have decent lunch specials. Â Outside of the lunch specials, the prices can be a little high. Â I usually go bones because I feel you get more for your money (there's no bone taking up space). Â You can get 8 boneless wings, fries and a drink for under $10.00.
If you want to try more than one flavor, you can go half/half. Â The only thing lacking is the beer selection. Â They need to carry more varieties of beer. Â If they did that, I'd give 5 stars.
Service sucks. I get it, sports bar, really loud , quick food, blah, blah, blah. But the food was amazingly horrible (I don't know if that makes sense) took 10 minutes for the host to stare at us, then seat us all the way in the back of the restaurant. Another 15 minutes for the waiter to walk by 4-5 times to take our order. We got our food, cold, DRY , OLD, freezer burned chicken. The sever was a young guy, maybe his first job, but he didn't pay attention to us at all, no drinks refilled, and to make it an awesome night, the restaurant was EMPTY. Never again.
Review Source:Food is always really good and I'm glad they have the black bean burger now but at this location we've only had so-so service. The first time we went we never got refills on our water even after asking for it several times. Being pregnant and eating spicy food I need to drink a ton of water. Lucky for me our son wasn't drinking much so I had to eventually steal water from his sippy cup. There were other things we asked for that we never got. The second time we went it wasn't as bad but still not impressive.
Go here and eat good food but if you need anything you're gonna have to really work to catch your waiter to get what you need.
Now, we all know what BW3 offers. Â Great wings, friendly staff, plenty of TVs showing the games. Â And I'll admit, this is my go-to for football season since we recently gave cable the boot. Â With that in mind, I'm reviewing location only.
This is definitely the BW3 in the 'burbs. Â As much as I appreciated the decent service, I would've enjoyed them coming to my table for a water-refill more than once while I was parched due to the salty-spicy food. Â Also, I really could have done without the 1,000 screaming children. Â I know you can't control your clientele, but the BW3 in West Nashville is definitely more my crowd.
Overall, BW3 is what it is. Â If you want a night of football, you can't really go wrong here. Â Chances are, they're playing the game you want to see!
The food was what you would expect but the service stunk. They forgot to wait on us for about 10 minutes. The waitress was clueless about the draft beer selection. Â We ordered wings and then ordered dinner. The dinner came out before the wings. Go figure. I would like to say it is because they are new but they have been open for about 4 - 5 months. I really expected better service from BWW.
Review Source:Buffalo Wild Wings food is the same across the board. If you've had it in Pittsburgh, you've had it in Boise, or you've had it in Franklin - it's going to taste virtually the same.
What sets them apart are the levels of service. Buffalo Wild Wings in Spring Hill? Top notch.
This one...not so much. Server missed one person at the table (of 6) while taking our orders. On a previous visit, server actually put his finger in sauce to test it...yes, seriously.
One the last visit, however, we had the extra bonus of unaccompanied minors "playing" the deer hunter game for 30 minutes right next to our table. By playing, I mean they were screaming at the top of their lungs and hitting each other with the rifles. They had not inserted any quarters...and their parents were nowhere to be found.
Also, the food came out at different times. Some people are okay with that. I think it's weird and rude. I don't feel comfortable eating until everyone's food has arrived.
There's nothing overly exceptional to set this one apart from the others. However, if you love screaming children...well...this is the place for you.
The boy wanted to take his friends to BWW for his birthday. It's crowded and noisy, just right for a pack of fourth graders. But it is the kind of place that makes a star rating system difficult. I mean, it ctainly doesn't compare to a 4 star fine dining restaurant with white table cloths and doesn't merit any culinary note, but when compared to other sports bars, it is well above average. And compared to other sports bars, it could only lose a star because it tries to be so many things to so many people. From families with five year olds to die hard sports fans with a need for every game currently broadcast to be within site, to college guys looking for a bar and wings. With a little focus, I think it could be better.
That said, the food is above average for a sports bar type place, the ability to watch everything, the trivia and games for the kids do take it up a notch. Prices are reasonable and the kids are happily playing trivia while the adults can talk (yell) and watch a few games without constant interruptions or whining. Service at this location was prompt and friendly with 8 little boys ordering for themselves.
I know this location is new so they've probably got some kinks to work out.
I'll even give a bonus star for Mango Habenero sauce,
But the bottom line is they fucked up my Superbowl. Â
I'm not driving all the way to Spring Hill. Â I waited and waited for this place to open up and they missed the entire fucking football season. Â They FINALLY opened up in time for the SuperBowl and they fucked it up. Â
Ordered my shit a day in advance.
Waited over an hour in line to pick up a pre-ordered TAKE OUT order. Â
Finally said fuck it and just took home the remainder of the wings at WalMart's deli. Â
These fuckers actually had the gall to call me AFTER HALFTIME.... I didn't bother to answer... I'll save my expletives for Yelp. Â Hooters never fucked me on a SuperBowl
Let me save you some trouble. If you want wings, I guess this is an alright place. They get one extra star for the humongous variety of sauces, but only because I am really into condiments. Sadly, the food that I had to eat my sauces with tasted EXACTLY like it had come from McDonalds. I hate chicken wings mainly because the bones gross me out, so I got tenders. Mickey D's quality, twice the price + tip. Also, served cold. I was with a large group, about a 15 person birthday party - but at a place like this it's a little expected. There were 2 other large parties waiting with us, which brings me to my next point - we arrived at 6:45 (with reservations) and were eating at 8:30. Ugh. Good thing I was so hungry I could choke down half my fingers meal doused in 'wild' and 'blazin' sauces (which coincidentally are not too hot)
Basically save your money, the food is mediocre, its nutso loud and beer is overpriced. Go get some Tyson freezer wings, some McDonalds fries and then hit up your buddy with the biggest TV to watch the game you are hankerin' to see. I guess if you love to tip people and hang out with little kids running through the bar, its cool. (Not a lie, 2 little boys circling our table numerous times at full speed and nobody said anything) Our server was cool, as in really friendly, but as Paul K mentioned below his level of 'familiarity' with our table led him to taste our sauce - with his finger.
They have a patio for summer months, if you love cars, specifically Toyota's you should check it out. (Its located literally in the parking lot of Cool Springs Toyota)
I've been to other BWW with a slightly better outcome, but c'mon this place is gross american fast food masquerading as a restaurant/sports bar. Just go to a real sports bar!
Not hating, just was not a particularly great experience. Waiter sniffing sodas to figure out what was what, finger in the hot sauce to figure which was which, a combo of extremely drunk sports fans and kids running all over the place.
Evidently the game of the night was to put on whatever our table was watching on a different TV and change the TV we were watching. Not horrible, but odd... seriously moved around 3 or 4 TVs.
I liked the place, I liked the waiter even with his finger-dipping familiarity, but the place - man, it needs some cohesion. It's packed and just kind of weird. I'm not sure if this is because the place has not figured itself out yet, or if Franklin has not figured it out yet, or what.
Also, evidently the food was less than stellar. I stuck with the beers and things you cannot screw up, so I can't really comment other than what I heard.
Have been to BW3 in Oregon before, I'd say it was a better experience, so this one should have room to improve.
We ate at a BWW for the 1st time in Chattanooga and really liked it so we were excited to see Cool Springs was getting one. They just opened a week or so ago and we went for dinner last night. It's a sports bar that's also trying to be a family restaurant. What we liked about the 1st experience and what I think they have going for them is a good variety on their menu. They're a chicken joint through and through so they have the ckn fingers, wings and an impressive beer selection. But, they also have a great kids menu including mini corn dogs and milk and a good wives menu including grilled chicken tenders, pulled pork sammy and a salad.
Here are my criticisms: Â
(1) Â they want families there (great kids menu complete with activity sheet and free crayons)...of the 40 TVs that are on, could just one be tuned to a kids' show?
(2) The service was slow. We gave them a little grace since they haven't been opened long but the service was slow at the other BWW, too, and they had been opened for years.
(3) It is SO LOUD in there. I still have a headache this morning as I write this.
(4) The restaurant is split 1/2 and 1/2 or 2/3 and 1/3 with a large main dining room and then a true bar. TVs are everywhere and both sections have excellent views and selections. They bee-lined us back to the bar area, with our 7 yr old in tow and seemed confused/aggravated when I inquired if we could sit at one of the open tables in the main dining room. I think if a child is present or there's nothing available in the main area, they should ask 1st and at least give guests the option of sitting back in the bar.
(5) This ties in with #3 on my list but it is a killing ground for epileptics. I suppose a side effect of having all those large screen TVs on every sports channel and covering just about every sport that's televised is that there is going to be flashing and blinking. Plus just the blue glow from that many TVs.
Buffalo Wild Wings, I'm glad you're in our city now and bringing jobs to our community but I think we'll put you on our "been there, done that" list for now.
To say the least, I was excited when I found out that Buffalo Wild Wings would be opening in Cool Springs! Â Traveling for business, I often find myself at BWW. On the road it's great because it's full of TV's, activity, lively and the food is good. Â I'm truly a fan of the wings! Â And now, there is a BWW locally!
It seems like there are two different types of Buffalo Wild Wings - the kind that has portable speaker systems that are available for your table, and the kind who do not offer this service. Â Sadly, Cool Springs BWW did not appear to offer this service. Â They have TV's in every direction, but when it's time to watch a game that they are not playing the audio for, it would be nice to have an audio option. Â They would have gotten 5 stars if they had this option. Â But for games that will be played with audio - this is a media haven of glorious proportions! Â They impressed me with their massive screen selection. Â I'm excited to watch my first Preds game there.
I have visited BWW twice since they've opened this week. Â I experienced from them the typical opening week jitters, glitches and mistakes that most restaurants would go through during their first week with new staff, but I know without a doubt they will get these issues worked out. Â Some people seem to get their panties in a wad over this kind of thing... come on people, they are new...it's really not THAT big of a deal they delivered someone elses food to your table or gave you the lunch menu for dinner... The attractive staff was there in abundance and constantly checking to see if all was OK with my food. Â They get an A for effort.
Buffalo Wild Wings has an amazing array of sauces and seasonings. Â The menu is typical sports bar flare and they do an outstanding job of presenting their menu. Â It's a fun brand, and they market it well. Â BWW isn't expensive, but not really cheap either. Â It's a very casual and sporty atmosphere and certainly has a much different feel and vibe to it than Jonathan's, Drake's & Brewhouse South. Â All four have their place.
Welcome Cool Springs Buffalo Wild Wings! Â I'll be sure to see you often.
