I went there last time and it was awful. The waitress didn't come until 10 minutes after we sat. Also we asked for another minute to look over the menu about 8 minutes later I had to flag down another waitress to go and get our waitress. The food was okay but they drenched everything in sauce.

It is a complete waste of time! My husband and I went in there on a Friday night.  First, it took a long time to even be acknowledged, and then we were seated at a table that had gooey seats and sticky stuff on the table.  After sitting on a napkin...I looked down to see food ALL OVER THE FLOOR! IT WAS DISGUSTING! I just couldn't imagine eating at a place like this!!!! Needless to say, we got up and left!

    Don't bother!

I guess I'm spoiled by the Newport News BWW - they seem to get it right all of the time.  This location, however, left a lot to be desired.

Right off, as you enter, you feel like you've stepped into a walk-in cooler - for a warm spring day, it had to be 63-64 degrees inside.

Drink orders were taken fairly quickly, and drinks arrived in a reasonable time.  One question, though - When somebody orders Unsweet Iced Tea, and you know you don't keep sweeteners on the table, might you want to either ask if they want sweetener, or just bring some out?  Once I had my drink, while my family was drinking their drinks, it was a good 10 minutes before she came out to take our orders, so I could ask for some sweetener.  She brought it out a few minutes later, in a styrofoam bowl - how classy!

The food (I had the Buffalo Chicken Salad) decent all around, and then the waitress disappeared for a while (went to get her own lunch?).

When we left, the warmth of the sunshine brought us back to life, after eating lunch in the ice-cold restaurant!

We won't be going back, needless to say.

Wow. I've tried giving this place a couple tries but my word is it bad compared to the Stafford location. I don't understand how the service can be so bad every single time.

    Messy tables and floors? Check.
Taking forever for someone to seat you? Check.
    Insanely slow service? Check.

So I guess if you enjoy a messy environment and waiting forever, give it a try?

I have sent back food 3 times at this location, different months each time. They have the WORST waiters, the WORST chefs, and the manager is pretty much useless as all she did was place the blame back on the customer. They keep repeating how they take out their food from packaging, cook it for the time and temperature allotted, and then send it to the customer.

My question is always, if your Stafford location can do it perfectly where I have never had a problem, what is it that you're doing so wrongly if that's all you do with the food- chicken is always too dry, not enough sauce, food looks like day old leftovers (tastes like it too), and I've never had good service here.

Given its location in a larger shopping area, I would expect that they would want to bring more customers in as I'm sure there is a lot more opportunity to be made here, and all I ever hear are complaints about this location. BWW's is a great place to eat and hang out with friends, but avoid this location, not worth it.

Horrible service at BWW's  Fredericksburg. 1800 on a Thursday nite: 7 minutes from seating to Beverage order and first site of server, 18 minutes from beverage  order to beverage service , Server leaves to kitchen to retrieve food of table who came in after us and comes back 7 minutes later to take food order  37 minutes later and after a management intervention food arrives. Server says " its because of all the wings in your order (36) ".  I respond with "this is Buffalo Wild Wings right? "

Missing silverware takes two more reminders and another management intervention.
Management offers a mere 10 dollar comp.

I wont be going back there again.

Oh yeah, they spent $35K that was granted to them by the City of Fredericksburg and all it looks like they did was paint!

Went for the first time ever yesterday and the food was horrible!! The burger was thin and so dry and tough I could barley get it down. I was starving, so I ate it, but I'd have rather been at a McDonalds or something than have eaten that thing....service was marginal at best. Waited at the front counter while no one noticed me because they were all gaggled together talking (loudly at that), and to be frank? The place was filthy...sticky table, dirt on the floor (lots of dirt on the floor), bath rooms rank (this place had just opened for the day too)....nope, never going back....place reminded me of a dive bar.

I love BW3s, I can't help it . It's the same all over and sometimes you just want that. Eric and I can share 18 wings with mango habanero, Asian zing and Caribbean jerk and I can get a side of spicy garlic to dip everything in.
The thing that put this particular BW3s over the edge was that they had Woodchuck on draft and most don't anymore.

Went here today to watch the Panthers @ Falcons and Saints @ Packers.

I've been to many of these and this one seems to be bigger than all the ones I've previosuly been to.

Sherry was our server and she did a great job for us all afternoon.
We wanted to watch the Ryder Cup and she was even able to get that on for us.

I'm not a fan of their boneless wings but really like the bone in and honey bbq.
I also really like their naked chicken tenders. The popcorn shrimp is a little too heavily breaded for me.

They do a great job on the Ultimate Nachos as well; we always get extra chicken.

This location has a smoking porch with an electronic sliding glass door; really uptown, huh.

I especially like the Jake Delhome Jersey hanging above the entry to the bathroom.
A nod to #17 who took the Panthers to the Super Bowl in 2004.

Our large family frequents this location on Thursdays for 2 hours of family fun for kids' night with Lola the Clown, balloons, face painting and now trivia. Plus $1 kids' meals! We've only found this at this location though there are kids' nights at others.

A great selection of wings, cold beers and menu items. Their menu has yummy specials that change with the seasons. I had a great chicken chopped salad the last two times. Fresh ingredients. Friendly crowd. Always busy but never a problem finding a couple tables for the 9 of us. We are regulars!

Because we are regulars, I admit it can be hit or miss with wait staff (as with any restaurant). For the most part, we have had fast courteous service or speak with the manager and had no problems with resolving a dispute.

Simply awful. Went here later in the evening after catching a movie, and the place smelled weird, the service took forever, and when the food came out, it was done incorrectly. Would not go here again.

Buffalo Wild Wings has a traditional cookie cutter design across the states so that was no surprise when I walked in. The hostess was well groomed, polite and very friendly. My server imitated the same but he was very slow. I believe he he had a couple of large parties (people on their lunch break) and well me. He was quick to take my order but slow to follow-up with me. The food was good and the Sangria was large for the price. Overall, I'd try it again.

Stopped at Buffalo Wild Wings for the first time and it was exceptional. Between us, we had the wings, burgers, and chicken wraps with sides of fries and onion rings. Everything was delicious and the service was great. The only slight problem was the noise level, as we had been seated too close to some speakers. We moved and the noise level was much better. Will definitely be back for more..

I feel really bad for the owners of this franchise. The other location in Fredericksburg is great, but this location is really slow and not too exciting.. food was okay, service was okay, ambience was just... either empty or weirdly busy with teenagers. I would suggest going to the other location.

great service. attentive young man - new at the job - hope he doesn't get jaded. food is good pub food and I love the variety of sauces. appetizer sampler was excellent. wish the beer selection was better - they have a lot of names listed, but most are variations on a standard or lite American lager (aka making love in a canoe).  couple of good ones kept me going , but they used to carry local beers (Fredericksburg has a local micro and a brewpub) and some good micros.  now limited to Sammie A. and a few of the good oldies, like Guinness and Newcastle.

Nothing special about this place. I had the sampler appetizer. The nachos in it was very disappointing. Not enough cheese and looked like they just added a bunch of lettuce on chips. The wings were just okay. We ordered the mild buffalo sauce. Wings were better at Famous Daves because the skin was crispy.  There were plenty of sauce on the wings. Famous Dave's wings were flavorful enough that it didn't need ot be drenched in sauce. My fiance had the burger sliders, which were satisfactory.  The onion rings did not have any special seasonings. I prefer the onion rings at Red Robins.

Their chipotle ranch sauce was pretty good.

Dont act like you didnt know this was coming!! First off i HATE wings and not a big fan of any chicken that is not baked. This place has like 12 sauces and awesome specials! 3$ draft night on weds and a boneless on thursday!  The only reason it doesnt have 5 stars is i went in on a saturday abou 1130 pm and there was little people there but we waited a no shit 30 minutes to get service and once we got service she was nice but messed our order up twice. When we went to pay the card machine was down and we had to find the ATM inside the store and pay cash. Manager did give us 1/2 off food so not complaining. Another time waitress took forever to bring drinks to table and food took about 45 mins. But to hell with the problems grab a beer and bring your boys this is the place to hang out!

After paying the $5 cover to come watch UFC here, I was in a sour mood. This is a wings place, not a club. Don't try to nickel and dime me for bad service and worse food. The only specials they had involved Bud Light. Gross. I ordered an Indian pale ale, and they were out of it, so I ordered another one like it. It came out in a plastic cup. What the hell? I paid a $5 cover to drink from a plastic cup? Seriously...

They didn't start playing the fight until the stupid hockey game finished in overtime, so I missed the important first few minutes of trash talking they usually play on the UFC. Then, they didn't start the audio until about 10 minutes into the program.

Misty was our server, and despite her complaints of an 80 hour work week here at BWW, I had little sympathy for her multiple "oops I forgot" and "what was it you ordered?" episodes. If you can't handle working those kind of hours, please don't drag me down with you.

The wings were pretty crappy, but mine were good because they were grilled chicken tenders, which aren't really wings at all. I think it's actually breast meat. The other 'real' wings were gross, had too much of that fake-tasting spiciness, and were just gristly and gooey. Chicken shouldn't be gooey.

I should have put the $60 I spend there towards paying for the PPV fight at home instead of eating nasty wings and drinking crappy beer.

So, yeah 9:30pm on a Thursday night and every place is closed for dinner.  Wait, what about Buffalo Wild Wings?  Yeah, March Madness, they're definitely still open.  This is an easy spot for comfort food and a drink.

I had bone-in wings with the spicy garlic sauce and with the wild sauce (their second hottest which is just the right amount of heat really without completely overpowering the chicken).  The wings were just okay, some of them arrived cold.  There are really no good wing places in this area, so it's tough -- I've learned to live with BWW.  It was pretty busy last night with the Pitt game finishing up (go Panthers!), so I can understand the kitchen being off.

I washed down the wings with 2 glasses of Fred Red Ale which is Fredericksburg's local microbrew.  It's worth trying.

Couple of quirks to be aware of:

-- Order the wings by the total number.  It turns out that buying 2 sets of 6 wings is more expensive than ordering 12 wings.  They know this and will charge you the higher price unless you specifically say I want 12 wings with 6 of one and 6 of the other.  Same goes for any other multiple of 6 -- this is too profitable for them to change.

-- They used to have specials on Fred Red Ale, 23 oz. for $3 every day.  My glasses last night cost me around $4.50 each.  So either the special has gone away, or the price has gone up.  Still cheap though.

So 3 stars, unless a real wing place sets up shop nearby, and I will adjust accordingly.

If you've never been to BWW then I'd recommend the Spicy Garlic and Carribean Jerk flavours. Tuesdays are a great deal with their wing specials. They also have a great selection of brews (including local ones) in large glasses.
