The Park Lane Tavern, formerly the Fredericksburg Pub, is a British Pub/European-themed restaurant.

The atmosphere is phenomenal and is probably this place's biggest feature. The interior of the restaurant looks great and the bar is beautiful, plus there is a cool outdoor area with two propane fire pits that are burning all the time.

The food is very good and is reasonably priced. If you like hot wings for an appetizer, theirs are some of the best in town. Also, their fried pickles are insanely good...and addictive! As far as entrées are concerned, you really can't go wrong with whatever you pick, but I recommend the Fish 'n Chips or the Chicken 'n Chips (buffalo style). For desert, there's no contest: get the Guinness Brownie! It is one of the best, if not THE best, deserts in town!

Of course, they have a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, so you should be covered in that regard as well.

The service is pretty good, though there have been some less than stellar experiences over the years. Still, the good experiences far outweigh the bad ones.

Give the Park Lane Tavern a try, I think you'll enjoy it!

This is a cool place! But it's more of a place you'd go with a group as opposed to a place you'd take a date. The food is pretty decent but the real reason to go is their outstanding selection of draught beer! I'd be more likely to go here again for drinks and apps instead of dinner, but that's not a bad thing.

The goat cheese appetizer with pita wedges was very good!  I had a cup of the Guiness chili.  A little sweet for my taste.  I wouldn't get it again, but it wasn't bad.

For my entree I got the Jagerschnitzel (fried, flattened pork loin).  Now this is interesting...the batter that it was fried in was clearly the same batter used for frying the Haddock for the fish and chips.  So the pork I ate just had the flavor of that batter.  It tasted good, but it was not at all what I expected it to be.   It kind of tasted like fish and chips. In fact, I ended up putting malt vinegar on my pork!

But like I said, if you go here for apps and drinks you'll like it just fine and have a great time.

Gourmet Burger and a half & half (Guinness & Harp).  Great burger and better selection of beer & small batch bourbon.  Good music on the box and live music before we left...a new favorite!
