The Park Lane Tavern, formerly the Fredericksburg Pub, is a British Pub/European-themed restaurant.
The atmosphere is phenomenal and is probably this place's biggest feature. The interior of the restaurant looks great and the bar is beautiful, plus there is a cool outdoor area with two propane fire pits that are burning all the time.
The food is very good and is reasonably priced. If you like hot wings for an appetizer, theirs are some of the best in town. Also, their fried pickles are insanely good...and addictive! As far as entrées are concerned, you really can't go wrong with whatever you pick, but I recommend the Fish 'n Chips or the Chicken 'n Chips (buffalo style). For desert, there's no contest: get the Guinness Brownie! It is one of the best, if not THE best, deserts in town!
Of course, they have a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, so you should be covered in that regard as well.
The service is pretty good, though there have been some less than stellar experiences over the years. Still, the good experiences far outweigh the bad ones.
Give the Park Lane Tavern a try, I think you'll enjoy it!
This is a cool place! But it's more of a place you'd go with a group as opposed to a place you'd take a date. The food is pretty decent but the real reason to go is their outstanding selection of draught beer! I'd be more likely to go here again for drinks and apps instead of dinner, but that's not a bad thing. Â
The goat cheese appetizer with pita wedges was very good! Â I had a cup of the Guiness chili. Â A little sweet for my taste. Â I wouldn't get it again, but it wasn't bad.
For my entree I got the Jagerschnitzel (fried, flattened pork loin). Â Now this is interesting...the batter that it was fried in was clearly the same batter used for frying the Haddock for the fish and chips. Â So the pork I ate just had the flavor of that batter. Â It tasted good, but it was not at all what I expected it to be. Â It kind of tasted like fish and chips. In fact, I ended up putting malt vinegar on my pork! Â
But like I said, if you go here for apps and drinks you'll like it just fine and have a great time.
Need a quick getaway? Park Lane is a nice retreat. I've gone with friends, visiting family, and of course on my own. I've even been there for St. Patty's Day. Love the atmosphere here and the British Pub theme(brownie points for a cool bar). Great selection of beverages and reasonable prices. The staff is usually pretty friendly and service is decent. I recommend the Park Lane Burger (made your way), Fish 'n' Chips (a bit greasy, but great portion size), or Magner's Corned Beef Sandwich. Need a quick fill up? Go for a bowl of the Guinness chili, just enough kick and heaviness to satisfy your food craving.
Review Source:We stopped here for lunch one day after shopping at the mall. I had the Firecracker Shrimp appetizer as my meal and it was very good. It's friend shrimp with spicy sauce on the side and drizzled over it. It's served over greens with some peppers. My husband had the Tavern Club Sandwich with chips and he said it was really good. We both had a Bloody Mary and it was very good also. The waitress was really nice and she told us on Sundays they have a Bloody Mary Bar where the bartender pours the vodka and you create the rest. Pretty cool!
Review Source:We went there for dinner two nights ago. I went to the Park Lane in Hampton a few years back and was very impressed with the decor. Very upscale looking English pub. We sat at the bar for our dinner and beers. The bartender was pretty busy but she did go out of her way to make sure we were happy and had the drinks we wanted. She gave us a couple of samples of beer that we didn't ask for. That was pretty cool. The thing we liked about it is when you ordered a beer, you got the beer in the correct glass. For example, I ordered a Boddington and it came in a Boddington glass. Same for Dogfish Head. That is a small detail that I found very nice. The food was really good too. I ordered the chicken and chips. It was nothing special although the BBQ sauce had a nice tangy flavor to it. I am here in the area on business for two weeks and we WILL be going back for sure. Â They offer specials like steal the glass Wednesday. When you order the beer on special, you get the glass with it. Pretty cool. The beer selection is mostly beers from Europe which is pretty cool. That's different from any regular pub. Thursday's they have live music and beer specials. Like I said, we are going back again at least one more time while I am here in town. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to eat in a English style pub. Good food, good beer, and good service.
Review Source:We try to go here any time we can. Â The decor is great and fabulous bar. Â Fried dill pickles here are a spear shape with great dipping sauce. Â The fish and chips are crispy with light, moist fish inside. Â The portion sizes are generous and the service staff is knowledgeable and polite. Â They have a large selection of whiskey and beer to order in sample glass sizes. Â If you get a chance to go.......GO !
Review Source:Greeted and welcomed as we walked in the door. Â Casual atmosphere here. Â We were taken to a table right away. The hostess said nicely, sure no problem, when we asked for a booth. Â She even had to clean it real quick for us, Thanks! Â Our Server was very knowledgeable and friendly. Â This was my second visit and it held up to the expectations set by the first one. Â Both of us picked out the Special, Prime Rib with Baked Potato and Broccoli. Â The Prime Rib was amazing! Â I even ate the Broccoli(not my favorite veggie). Â Great selection of beers on tap, Irish, Scottish, English and German Beers can be found here fitting the Scottish theme. Â Don't be afraid to sample the beer. Â You can try any of them out first if your not sure what you want. Â The Fried Pound Cake and Berries was Amazing! Â Its on our to return list for sure! Â Thank you Sam.
Review Source:Rough night tonight...We have been here before. As described in my last posting there was some trouble with my dinner during our last visit. The management made outstanding efforts to make up for their mistakes. I wish that was the case tonight. Our food took forever which wasn't a big deal. The place was packed! If the food is a little slow on a busy saturday who cares?! The problem is that my entree came out cold. Not hmm, thats not hot, but actual cold; refrigerator style cold. Curiously, I ask our waiter, "Is this meant to be a cold dish?" For a second I thought that it was intentional. He responded with a confused "no?". Long story short. I had the displeasure of dealing with another manager who gave no explanation or apology. Its not that I "need" to have one.; its the principal! Treat a costumer well so they come back! (btw, paid full price) Who knows!?!?... This place is hit or miss. Good luck
Review Source:This place is pretty stinking good. Â The scotch selection is fantastic, and the food is delicious. Â The waitstaff and management were friendly, and the service was pretty good. Â The Monte Cristo sandwich is absolutely ridiculous. Â I want to eat that every day. Â You should go there just for the bar. Â It is gorgeous.
Review Source:A weekly visit is par for the course for this crowd, and if we're lucky enough sometimes twice.
Staff is very attentive to your needs, whether big or small. It feels like a family here, not just a pub we frequent from time to time. Food is always hot and cooked to your specifications. Drinks are on the money, huge beer selection and the attention to detail is unlike any other Fred Vegas establishment.
Friday nights are always rocking with a DJ and weekly special events make PLT a place you always look forward to returning.
The only thing missing is my own personal kilt!
Hit up PLT for a great night with family, friends and those in between. You wont be disappointed!
Chose Park Lane Tavern tonight on the recommendation of some coworkers who were here the other night...and because of the great Yelp ratings backing them up.
I could keep this very short and simple...Great food, excellent beer selection, knowledgeable and helpful waitresses (didn't hurt that hey were also gorgeous and in kilts), and a great atmosphere. Â Simple right?
I don't need to add much more, but we all loved our meals-my French Dip was one of the best I've ever had, the ahi tuna appetizer was delicious, but I was also thrilled about Thirsty Thursdays where ALL drafts are only $4. Â I started with a sampler however (four, five ounce samples for $7) and tried three Octoberfests and a Scottish ale...all were awesome. Â Finished up with a 'bumblebee', a Guinness over Boddington's. Seriously, I really liked this place and if I lived in this area I would be here all the time.
The Bottom Line: Â Great service, good bar food, good beer. Â Get the Monte Cristo with cranberry jam, a flight of beer and a side of fried pickles.
Having lived in England, I can say that the Park Lane Tavern has a pub feel with a more extensive menu and drink selection. Â I would come here any day of the week if I lived closer.
Servers are all very attentive.
Come in for steal a glass night and walk away with some cool glasses.
We HAVE to visit the bar every visit to Fredericksburg we get. Personal favorites are the Ahi Tuna, Portobello Sandwich and best of all the Spicy shrimp appetizer that is cooked perfectly every time. Sometimes we order two though the serving is already pretty large :-) Â The service is always spectacular and the bar itself is so intricate and amazing as a great piece of architecture. Worth just the sight alone. Also if you are coming in with a large group under 10 people I recommend sitting at the table with the large chairs on both ends.
They also have outdoor seating and a patio with 2 decor fire pits. its great for social get together s.
My friends and I were seated at the large table with the two throne chairs... it was awesome!
I love the "bible" - so many drinks to choose from, so painful for the liver later...
This place has a solid selection of British pub food with a twist here and there (like their special of the day was a turkey, mozz, tomato panini and they have sweet potato fries as an option). Â The food is great - we enjoyed everything we ordered (fish & chips, bangers and mash, steak, panini, cup of chili, etc.).
We're planning a trip back there, and it's very conveniently located by the movie theater.
Oh, I don't have a problem with it at all, but you have to be okay being served by men in kilts. Â (And our waiter was awesome - good call on the Lovely Rita!)
The first time I came here was around Christmas time and the food was great. I had gotten a burger and fries with a fried pickle and it was delicious. I came a few weeks ago and got the chicken tenders and this time I wasn't so impressed. Something about them didn't taste right.. The waiter and the service is good though. Pretty cool little spot just don't order the chicken tenders. Haha
Review Source:This is the type of place you'll want to go after watching Game of Thrones, or Lord of the Rings, or want to eat some good British fare. Â It has a ton of beers and a great atmosphere. Â There's even a table with a throne at the end. Â The inside of the building is inlaid with beautiful wood and has a very manly feel to it. Â The wait staff is always friendly and dress in British punk rock era clothing, which is pretty awesome.
On my last visit there was a special being offered, which I promptly decided I would order. Â I ordered the wild game bangers and mash. Â These aren't your normal bangers and mash. Â These are the bangers and mash that have the power of increasing the world's population...they're that sexy!
The bangers were made of boar and duck, both very savory and rustic meats on their own, but place them together in a casing and you'll too be claiming you're Henry VIII. Â These bangers were accompanied by what the restaurant called snow peas (they were sugar snap peas - still delicious), wonderfully seasoned baby carrots, a micro salad, and redskin mashed potatoes that had a sprig of thyme sticking out of it which added the ability to custom season your own dish as you saw fit. Â I coupled the meal with a double of Jamesons, a Speckled Hen, and an Old Dominion Oak Barrel Stout.
I was buzzing and full by the time I left and in absolute love with this Pub!

I moved to Fredericksburg about two weeks ago and, since, have been searching for a local "watering hole" to "call my own."
I think I have settled on that place being Park Lane.
I enjoy good beer and Park Lane has plenty, both on tap and in bottles. Â
The bar staff are friendly, and always willing to converse about brews. Â My only complaint about this tavern is that it is so spacious that patron interaction is sort of subdued.
I have not tried the food. Â However, from what I have seen served, it has looked appealing enough. Â
The prices are also acceptable, especially on Thursday nights when all drafts are four dollars. Â
I really dig this place. Â Good beer in an atmosphere that is welcoming but not presumptuous. Â
As a future regular at Park Lane, I can highly recommend a visit.
Formerly known as The Pub.
Their old fashions are the best according my boyfriend who is a regular and took me here for lunch this past Monday. We sat at the large wooden bar of bars :-) I had a glass of the Mcmanis 's Merlot which I thought was very accurately described by the menu (I'm just learning a wine snob, lol) Â We had the firecracker shrimp which was on point with a bed of romaine and fried jalapeno slices as well as the Portobello sandwich which was massive. The staff is honest and friendly. I can't wait to go back, we want to sit in the giant king and queen chairs on a table that fits 10 just for the hell of it. The decor is so amazing and the restrooms are very clean :-)
this is a SUPER place to go to kick back and enjoy the atmosphere, people watch, and taste some super beers.
For the fellows.....waitresses in schoolgirl type skirts - only shorter. Seriously. eye candy.
For the ladies - cute bartenders in kilts. yep, you read that right, kilts. There's even an authentic Scotsman and yes, I could listen to him read the dictionary.
Tell the bartender what you like to drink normally and he will make a suggestion of something new to try. The hubby found a new favorite beer this way.
The fish & chips are good and the appetizer menu is yummy.
Service is super and friendly and this place just plain makes you want to go back for more.
Park Lane, or the Pub formerly known as the Pub, has recently had a change of ownership and menu. They added more european flair to the menu but the kilts remained! Halleloo! We have been with kids, without kids, for live music nights, and for brunch. and we always have great service and great food. The goat cheese dip is SO GOOD, and I love the chicken/apple/brie panini. Top that with a full bar and it is a nice place to hang out before a movie or after shopping.
Their brunch is a deal too. Most items are about $6 and they also have a Bloody Mary bar. It is never crowded for brunch, which is a huge plus for me.
Now known as the Park Lane Tavern. I was staying in a hotel nearby while on a business trip, and came here with a few co-workers. I love the ambiance of the place. The food was good, as was the beer. I think what topped it off though was the service, which was nothing less than exceptional. Our waitress was extremely friendly and very knowledgable of the food and drinks. I have to come back into town in a few weeks and I will probably revisit this place.
I'd love to work here so I could wear those little skirts that the waitresses wear. They should sell them.
It's OK for an internationally themed pub. It smells like the basement of a college fraternity house.
I also had the Shepherd's Pie although it was not authentic as it contained no lamb. The food was also on the dry side as well.
The beer selection was OK but you can pick up the same beer locally at other stores.
I really enjoy the Pub... however, I found out on my recent visit there that they are changing the name and some of the menu. They will now be called Park Lane Tavern. I really love the fried pickles - nothing fancy but quite good. The chicken and chips with the Hong Kong BBQ sauce is my Mom's favorite and one of mine as well. Again, nothing too fancy but tasty. The Shephard's Pie was ok, not traditional nor what I was expecting but edible. Fish and chips are excellent. London Broil, just ok. There isn't really anything bad that I tasted there. Average prices, decent staff, nice atmosphere.
Review Source:The pub is great, with a decent selection of beer and whiskey.
The wait staff is plesant and the ambiance is very nice....although I don't like the 3-4 tall tables with that rack in the center. Â Makes it very hard to have a conversation when you're staring at the ketchup bottle. Â
The food is pretty good...traditional bar food, but I haven't had a meal that just made me say "Damn, that's good!" Â
It's a great place to meet some friends for dinner/drinks and to take a break from shopping.
Fake Irish pub! Â It's new but built to look old. Â Erin go Bragh bull$@# with it's flat screens silently flashing soccer scores for games I don't care about. The generic bric-a-bracket delivered and decorated by the truckload. It's an instant Irish pub........ but freakin delicious!!!! Â I love pretty much anything here, the fish and chips, the club, the fried pickles, the cold beer. Â All good in the hood. Â Grubs ~
Review Source:I went here with my family while on vacation and we all enjoyed the food. Â My Father-in-law and I enjoyed the beer as well.
The service was great. Carol, our server, was friendly, attentive and timely.
The fish and chips were tasty and the serving size was ample, even the child's fish and chips was good sized.
The one word that comes to mind when I think of this place is CONFUSED. Â
Firstly, they have a menu item called "Seared Ahi Satay". Â This is kind of a strange way to prepare sashimi-grade Ahi (tuna), but okay. Â I asked the waitress if the tuna was served with a skewer (satay-style), and she said, "There's no stick at all. Â Satay is the grade of the tuna. Â The tuna has to be Satay-grade in order to be served raw. Â Satay is the Japanese word for the grading of the fish." Â Uh... WHAT?!?! Â There's so much wrong with that statement. Â Firstly, I speak Japanese, and "satay" isn't even a Japanese word! Â But I guess it doesn't matter right? Â After all, it's all Asian, so no further differentiation required. *rolls eyes*. Â
Secondly, sashimi is the grading for fresh fish to be served raw. Â Satay is a preparation method, not a grading of fish. Â The satay refers to the grilling of a piece of fish or meat on a stick or skewer. Â Sashimi refers to the grading of fish that are to be consumed raw. Â Be it sashimi-grade ahi (yellow-fin tuna), sake (salmon), maguro (blue-fin tuna), unagi (eel), etc. Â It means the was seafood was killed in a way that preserves the flesh (minimal digestive or lactic acids destroying the fish's flesh) and thus is prime for human consumption raw (the erosion of the flesh by acids means you'd have to cook it). Â
I quickly changed my order from the "Seared Ahi Satay" since I couldn't reconcile buying something from them when they clearly didn't know what it was. Â How can you trust someone to prepare a dish properly when they don't even know what it is (or even that they're wrong)? Â I can forgive the waitress since she's just a worker-bee, but whoever wrote their menu should stick to English Pub grub and the English language. Â Their foray into the "exotic" really highlights their ignorance and makes them look foolish. Â For anyone who has actually traveled the world or speaks another language, it's an insult. Â
Aside from the Asian confusion, I ordered a Honey Pineapple Upside Down Cake drink, and it came back tasting like grapefruit. Â When I complained, the waitress took it back, and the bartender said, "There's not supposed to be grapefruit in a pineapple upside down cake?!" Â What kind of Southerner are you?! Â Pineapple upside down cakes are a Southern invention - my mom (from Louisiana) made them for me since I was a kid. Â To not know that a pineapple upside down cake doesn't have grapefruit in it means you've probably got no business on the production line at the bar - observe more seasoned bartenders before striking off and screwing up orders. Â
My husband ordered the Shepherd's Pie (which had mozzarella and Parmesan  - what kind of authentic Shepherd's pie has cheese?!), and he said the ground beef was seasoned to taste like taco meat.  Confused much?  The one bright spot was their Fish n Chips.  I figured if they couldn't get that right, they might as well hang a "CLOSED DUE TO SEVERE INCOMPETENCE" sign on the door.  That dish did not disappoint.  It was well-cooked, well-seasoned, and I loved it. Â
However, that bright-spot cannot make up for the fact that they're preparing stuff they know nothing about ("Seared Ahi Satay") and refuse to admit that they're wrong, the bartender doesn't know how to mix their own drinks (BTW, the ingredients are CALLED OUT in their "Drink Bible" that every customer gets - maybe the bartender should spend some more time studying their religious text, hm?), they were getting other tables orders wrong and the waitresses were playing hot-potato with who was responsible for the tables (right next to us, the party had been largely ignored, and they only got service when they threatened to walk away), and they prepared a Shepherd's Pie (which should have been a home run for an English Pub) with cheese and spiced like tacos.
This place is clearly confused. Â The waitresses are confused, the menu is confused, and the bartenders are confused. Â However, I am not. Â With so much competition in the area, I really doubt I'll be back to visit this place anytime soon. Â It's really a shame because it's such a lovely looking place with an ornate bar and all the trappings of a wonderful British Pub. Â Too bad you can't eat scenery. Â Good luck figuring it out, Fredericksburg Pub!
I have been hunting for a good English (or Irish) Pub and the Fredericksburg Pub is the closest thing around here, which isn't saying that much. I've spent a fair amount of time in London over the years and generally don't eat or drink anywhere else but a pub.
The Fredericksburg Pub is a fair imitation of the "real thing" but that's just it, it's an imitation. It seems to me that more attention was paid to the decor (the wraparound bar is something else to see), and the drink selection is pretty diverse (this is where I was introduced to Gulden Draak, one of my new favorite beers).
The lacking with the Pub is in the food itself. The fish and chips are passable, even though it's one big piece of fish and not a couple more manageable sized pieces. The curry chips aren't bad. The bangers and mash are suitable but the surprising thing to me is that a traditional "English breakfast" (e.g., with toad-in-the-hole eggs, beans, roasted tomato, etc) was nowhere to be found.
The menu is limited and I hope they expand it with more "native" pub fare. I will return to the Fredericksburg Pub because they do a great job with the English ambiance and drink, but it won't be long before I will find myself eating somewhere else first to avoid being quickly bored with the menu choices.
Took my wife and oldest daughter to The Pub tonight and we were once again blown away by great food, great beer and the best service staff in Fredericksburg. Â From the minute you hit the door all the way until you walk out they are attentive and eager to make sure you have a good experience.
We started off with the Calamari which was fried lightly and served with great sauces. We ended up with the Belgian draft Golden Draak which was one of the best beers I have tasted for years and worth the high price. For dinner I had the Fish and Chips which is English style with a huge fillet done perfectly. My daughter loved her London broil. Â My wife liked her Pub Burger as well and the Jamaican Cheese Cake is creamy and sweet with the banana liqueur sauce. Â Our waitress was amazing. Â No glass sat empty and nothing was forgotten.
Great atmosphere...not too loud and classy decorated. Â 5 out of 5 stars was an easy give as this was our second great experience. Â One of the best restaurants in the Fredericksburg area hands down.
Who would've thought?!?! Nice pub-like place just off of 95.
Our waiter (actually from the UK) was easily the highlight of our visit, but the wide & tasty selection of beers and good eats helped round out a good visit. Since I travel along 95 often, this place will most certainly be a regular stopping point, particularly since it is right around where the DC-area traffic starts to get wonky.
One of the things that kept this place from getting a perfect 5 for me was I thought it was a bit too big and cavernous. Ideally, a smaller, more pub-like size would be nicer, but I guess that wouldn't be such a great idea given the place's popularity.
Nice venue and building, it lends itself to becoming a place to meet friends for drinks or a meal.  I had the fish and chips, my wife the pub burger.  Both our meals were very good and a review of the menu caused me to want to return to try several other offerings.  My overall impression is that this  business is a plus for Fred and will be around for a long while.  Well done.
Review Source:This is a fun place that is proving to be one of the area's gems! Â They have an extensive drink menu including about 25 beers on tap and about 75 beers over all. Â I was happy to see several interesting English selections on tap. Â In particular, I ordered the Fuller's London Pride Ale and the Young's Double Chocolate Stout. Â Additionally, I was very surprised to see an extensive selection of single malt scotches. Â Upscale choices in Fredericksburg? Â Thank you!
For the entree I opted for the fish and chips. Â I was surprised by the quality of the fish. Â It was fresh and surprisingly light for a fried selection. Â I found the flavor to be clean and welcoming -- excellently prepared. Â The cocktail sauce was made in house and was very good. Â The fries were fine.
For dessert, I had the Guinness brownie with vanilla bean ice cream, whipped cream, and hot fudge. Â The brownie was a bit dry, but the ice cream was very good.
Decor: Â The prominent bar was very large and beautiful and had a nice authentic feel to it. Â There were several flat screen TVs featuring sports coverage, some even had English soccer. Â Everything is designed to give the feel of an English pub. Â I think the restaurant fell short a little on this front because it was brightly lit and a little too open. Â I might have preferred a darker bar in tighter quarters. Â But still this a great place to hang out and enjoy a great selection of beer and scotch. Â Recommend.
I would describe this place as the TGI Friday's of English pubs. Â It' OK. Â The lights are too bright, and it just feels off. Â The kilts the staff wear are a little strange and not British. Â The place feels kitschy. Â
However if you are inclined the go out to eat in the back of Spotsylvania mall then you will find a decent (not spectacular) selection of beers and though I am not a scotch drinker they apparently have an outstanding selection. Â My fish and chips was overly breaded and the fries clearly from frozen, my companion got a pretty good shepherd's pie. Â The fried pickles were overly breaded, but alright.
Overall I prefer Capitol Ale House, even with the smoking they allow after 9p.
Really cool place! Â I came here with a friend and his friends over the weekend and it was pretty far~ Â We had just finished a movie at Potomac Mills AMC and decided to go out for a couple beers. Â The drive was a good 25-30 min from the theatre.
The place was located on the backside of a shopping mall, that was still in development in Spotsylvania. Â I thought we were lost, but Lo and Behold, we came around a bend in the road and I saw an establishment tucked away near the rows of parked cars.
The place was bustling! Â I guess regardless of location, this place was the "IT" spot to hang out. Â The place is a British bar / pub, which you will realize as soon as you walk in. Â They have a huge mural of the British flag on the ceiling. Â At 10:45pm, all the tables were taken and there was a wait to sit. Â The bar was packed on every side and the waiters and waitresses rushed by with drink-filled trays. Â Let me just add, that the waitresses were HOT! Â Although, I do believe some were barely legal~ Â The servers' uniforms were kilts... both female and male. Â The males wore them at knee length or just below and the females wore them at skim-right-under-the-buttocks length. Â I also noticed they had fire pits outside in their patio seating area! Â It was a bit cold that night and no one was sitting outside. Â I don't even think the fire pits were lit.
We didn't get to enjoy a meal there, but we ordered a dip/spread platter that was really good! Â The platter consisted of spinach artichoke dip, crabmeat dip and I believe a feta cheese dip served with pita chips / flatbread. Â Tried some kind of Pale Ale which was okay. Â I would definitely say it's worth a second visit, if I am ever in the area again~
A coworker celebrated his 40th birthday there 3 weeks ago. I did not get to go because of work obligations. I was curious then to why most of my colleagues love this place.
So I went here today for lunch. The restaurant is a London's style corner pub. They have a great selection of beer from around the world, but mostly from Europe. Over 75 selection of Irish, Belgian, German, Scottish and British beer can be found on their menu, which they called the "the bible". They have 25 drought beer.
They also carry a good selection of wine.
As for my lunch, I ordered the pub burger, a delicious 8 oz Angus beef seasoned and cooked medium rare served on an Irish bun with lettuce, tomato, onion and melted Swiss cheese. What a delight it was. And to give a kick to the burger, I added some spicy mustard to it. It's been almost a year since I had my last burger, and I'm glad I've waited that long. As side dish, my burger came with delicious French fries and spicy deep fried battered pickle, which I did not like.
The service was excellent, the servers are wearing Scottish kilts, which is quite interesting. The bar is the most popular place in the pub.
The pub is a great place for social gatherings as well, they have a close area, away from the noisy bar. Â I absolutely like this place and recommend it to anyone looking to have fun out with friends.
