DO NOT TRUST WCCO TV Sat Morning show & Matt Brinkman - they said this place WON best Breakfast??? This place is WORSE than a Denny's!!! Â Worst breakfast I ever had!!!
Even Perkins is better. Â
if you want a great breakfast spot with REAL american fries, go to Egg & I St Paul, MN
The American Fries are little processed frozen squares of potatoes from a bag = crap quality. think low quality bulk frozen food aisle. The Eggs benedict sauce is something out of a bag too and the worst we ever had. the "included" Bloody Mary was also horrible.
The music is loud, the place is loud. Â The Coffee sucks - it like Denny's coffee from 1975 = old people bad breathe coffee.
I seriously hope my review closes this place down. DO NOT EAT AT BUNNYS!!!
This place sucks.

This place gets packed! At around 5 pm there was not a single space in the lot. I think the free munchies (popcorn, wings and other assorted mysterious fried garbage) is the main attraction here. Not sure if this offer is only available during happy hour, but if you're into stuffing your face with empty calories then this is your kind of joint. It's a laid back/casual yet lively neighborhood bar with people of all ages gathering here and an abundance of televisions around the perimeter of the bar for the viewing pleasure of all. Drinks/prices/service are nothing special.
Review Source:I love Bunny's. It is a great neighborhood hang with tasty food, cold beer, free popcorn, and approximately 1000 televisions. I know this is a popular hang for anyone looking to watch the big sports game, but I like to pop into Bunny's for an unpretentious drink or breakfast. It's hard to find a bar in the SLP/Uptown area where you don't feel like you need to look nice to go there, and at Bunny's, I feel right at home rolling in with my hoodie and sneakers on. The food is yummy and the beer is cheap. Also their breakfast? Amazing AND CHEAP. And with some of the entrees you get a free Bloody Mary or mimosa. Boom -- hangovers be damned! Stop on in to Bunny's if you're looking for a friendly neighborhood crowd and a place you could sit and play pull tabs for 8 hours straight and not be judged.
Review Source:Bunny's is your standard neighborhood bar, it has more character than the chains located in the vicinity. Â Thought there's really nothing special about it (the food and beer selection are run of the mill), it is a good place to watch a game and have a few beers at a reasonable price. Â The service was a little slow as they were watching the games too.
Review Source:Great sports bar. For some reason, there isn't a very good sports bar in Uptown and I wasn't about to go downtown to watch my Gophers lose. I was also sick of Uptown, I mean I live there and only have a few places to watch sports, so I decided to make my  friends come and try this place out and it was a great choice!
We got there an hour before the game started because I had read that it gets busy. It wasn't that busy for basketball but I can see it filling up for football. There is a large parking lot which is great and lots of space inside. There are TV's EVERYWHERE! For real, my friends and I nabbed a little corner spot with our private TV and it was like being at home with room service!
Service was extremely fast and the beer was pretty cheap. No specials during the middle of the day, but that didn't matter when my Premium was $2.75 bottle and tap. I also got the beer of the month special, Finnegans, which was a 20 oz pour for $4.75, pretty good deal. We might have been on the news as well since a station was there, so if you are looking to be seen, go here.
The only downfall this place had was trying to pay our bill! We had to flag down the server after waiting for a good 20 minutes (the game was done by this point too). I mean don't you want to take our money??
Apparently they have a free late night Taco bar with a purchase of a drink, I'll definitely be checking that out soon!
Bunny's is a great American sports bar is Saint Louis Park. It always has a varied crowd. The drinks are cheap. They have free popcorn. And, it's good bar food and a great breakfast. Also, every waiter/bartender I've had there has been friendly.
The biggest downside is the parking lot - it's big, but still hard to find parking.
Going there for a drink? I recommend the margaritas.
I don't write many reviews - I know, I should.
I"m a bit stingy on stars.
Bunny's is as close to a 5-star as I've found in the Twin Cities. I don't know why they aren't in the Top 10 breakfast spots in the local reviews.
The atmosphere is boisterous, the decor is social spot American, the menu and food are very good; but, the best thing is the extremely friendly staff.
Thank you, Terri! I will be back ...with friends.
I have never gotten a beer this fast in any other crowded bar. Literally, we walked in the door, seated ourselves and took the ONLY open table, and the server arrived immediately! We ordered beers to start and he was back in seconds. Maybe a minute tops.
Great bar burgers and fries. We were just hanging out and catching up after a day of racing nearby. Free popcorn. Overall the food was great. One of the best bar burgers I've had in a while. Even better than what they have at Five Guys.
Good crowd, lots of TVs, lots of people having a good time. I really liked this bar!
went here for the Superbowl (Ravens vs. 49'ers).
A sports bar SHOULD turn up the volume on an important game like the Super Bowl but Bunny's keeps the volume subdued so as not to disturb "other" patrons.
This is definitely not a place to watch an important sporting event.
The food is typical bar fare towards the deep fat fried side and not good or great but only fair.
I went here on the day after Christmas. The place was packed, and we (group of 6) ended up sitting in a quieter room in the back called "Sherms". I had been to Bunny's several times in the past and it was always busy, just not this busy. Our waitress was polite and friendly, she was just overworked. The food was great, and worth the wait. I had the Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich, and it was delicious. I usually get  burger, but the chicken was amazing. I don't think you will find a bad thing on the menu. Even though it was a little slower than usual, it was a great evening. I would recommend Sherms if you are looking for a quieter spot to converse.
Review Source:Great atmosphere, friendly service, jovial crowd. Â Excellent for sports fans or folks looking for a place to meet friends. Â They're breakfast is super affordable and some even come with adult beverages as an option! Â They have really really good pizza, not frozen pizza...they make fresh pizza until late at night. Several happy hour deals, lots of TVs. A neighborhood favorite.
Review Source:I've been to Bunny's twice now, and I can see how this place can be a neighborhood favorite. It's a legit sports bar, with flat screens surrounding the whole joint, and two (or more) games playing at any time. They have super cheap wings that I can only assume are delicious (given how often my friends order them), and their food menu is pretty standard. I've had their club and BLT, and both were very good. They don't skimp on the bacon, that's for sure. This being Beer Country, there's always some cheap beer deal, which I can't be too bothered to remember, except to say I'll probably order it. Good atmosphere, plenty of space, free taco bar, free popcorn, cheap beer, and sports. What can be more "Minnesotan sports bar" than that?
Review Source:First of all, I was one of only two girls and the other lady was my table-mate. Â But other than the shortage of estrogen in this particular establishment, I found the place so-so. Â It is your typical bar - large T.V.s, free popcorn littered on the floor, and hamburgers coming out of the kitchen at rabbit-reproduction rates. Â
My friend and I had the popcorn (of-course we did, it was free) and a brownie sundae. Â The good news about Bunny's is that they serve Sebastian Joe's Ice Cream, so the sundae was redeemed by delicious, lactose infused ice - otherwise, it was a bit lack-luster.
Unless, I want to feel like I am walking into a Cheer's rerun (which someday I might) I think I'll pass on Bunny's.
If you can get past the fact that a bar whose clientele is generally 30+ calls itself Bunny's... you'll probably like this joint.
Bunny's is a great place to catch a reasonably priced beer and they have a good selection (Surly Bender is on tap). Â As far as bar food goes, this place is legit. Â I had a jalapeno turkey burger that, while not even a little spicy, was really good. Â My other half had a steak wrap and commented on how fresh the fruit was. Â Fresh fruit at a rowdy bar? Â UM, WHAT? Â High five, Bunny's.
The atmosphere is a bit chaotic. Â You walk in and you seat yourself. Â It's F'ing crazy during the happy hours. Â We were lucky enough to find a hightop nestled back in some nook that was relatively quiet, but in the main bar/dining area you'd be better of texting the person you're sitting next to if you really want to have a conversation without screaming at each other like those neighbors in 3B, if you know what I'm sayin'.
I hate to admit it because our server was pleasant, but our service was pretty bad. Â There were several long gaps of 20-30 minutes when we felt like we were on an island. Â We were talking business with somebody so it wasn't THAT big of a deal, but at the end of our dining experience our server even commented, "I feel like I ignored you guys all night, I feel bad." Â Well... yeah, you did. Â I mean, what are you supposed to say like that? Â We're not Level 99 A-holes, so we just kind of chuckled and were like "ohhhhhh youuu hahaha, it's okay". Â It's never okay, I think we can all agree on that. Â Oh well. Â My life's happiness doesn't depend on whether or not my server pampers me.
The prices aren't too bad, you're looking at about 10 bucks for a sandwich, a little more for something like lasagna. Â The menu is surprisingly diverse.
The location is decent off of 100 and Excelsior. Â They have a big parking lot, but at 6:30pm it looked pretty full. Â My sister lives within walking distance so we just parked there and walked over.
And, as that great communicator Forrest Gump said, "That's all I got to say about that."
This dive is probably a top-10 for me on Twin Cities burgers. What are the others, you ask? Ah, you'll have to read my reviews. It pretty much looks like an American Legion when you walk in and the patrons follow suit. You can find decent coupons in a variety of places and eat a cheap meal. Decent beer selection.
Review Source:Late night happy hour!!! This place is great for cheap eats late at night. They have a killer burger/light beer special... 1/3lb burger and miller lite or coors light for $5. free taco bar after 10 pm, free popcorn all the time, and $.25 wings both boneless and traditional minimum of 6 after 9pm. If you are looking for a dive bar feel and super cheap drinks this is the place. I was also enthralled that hey had Flat Earth on tap also...First time I've seen it on tap on this side of the river.
Review Source:You aren't going to get the best meal of your entire life at Bunny's. However, you may just get the best bar meal of your life - and that is very deserving of 5 stars in my book! Sometimes, there's nothing better than a greasy bar meal with a greasy old bartender and a tall glass of beer, and Bunny's does it so right.
Bunny's is everything you want in a bar that's been open for 80 years. Juicy and crispy wings - check. Burger and beer combo specials - check. Free taco bar - check. Gameroom - check. Pull tabs - check. Breakfast skillets and bloodies - check. Popcorn - check.
Through cheap prices and a quality product, Bunny's has created a following that is unmatched.
I walk and drive by this place often and have always heard it's had great chicken wings and late night hours but never had the opportunity to stop in. Â Today... I took a chance.
Upon walking in, the place was very crowded and it was only a mid afternoon on a Monday! It is your average sports grill and bar with a huge bar, little nooks to seat yourself, bars tucked in each corner and tv's going at every glance. The staff were friendly and we sat ourselves in a little alcove that overlooked the dining rooms.
A little noisy, an older crowd staring, we ordered two chicken sandwiches; mine was the Jamaican Jerk and Brandon got the Cajun Chicken. Â We got potato salad, fries, fruit and drinks and within 12 minutes or so our food arrived hot! The chicken was cooked perfectly and a decent cut of meat too! The lettuce was rubbery on top of the hot meat and though the onion buns were tasty, they got soggy from the meat juices as the bread wasn't toasted at all.
The seasoning on the chicken breasts was nearly the same - not much flavor and caked on the meat so that it flaked off like black crusty soggy junk. The fries were dusted well with seasoning and the potato salad was tasty despite the nasty roasted red peppers in it. The fresh cut fruit was fresh and crisp and our drinks were refilled upon empty.
My fiance and I were not terribly impressed with the food but we intend to give it one more shot since the staff were so friendly and the prices and location weren't half bad.
Beer and buffalo wings with plenty of people watching thrown in for good measure.
I haven't been here in years and even though I think this is a new building I don't think the place has changed much. Â God knows I don't think the regulars have changed at all. Â This is a very diverse crowd and a good dive bar but on a larger scale. Â I had the buffalo wings, a few beers and wasted some money on pull-tabs. Â The wings were much better than I was expecting with a good blue cheese for dipping. Â The beer was exactly what I was expecting, no blue cheese needed but an olive would have been good.
Good place to hang out and have a bite, play some pull tabs and watch the crowd go by!
KT
Bunny's back in the day had character, and even though it was a dive it was a lot of fun. Â The new location has little character, and the service is really awful. Â My buddy and I stopped by after a round of golf and bellied up to the bar. Â We were talking about MN public smoking laws, and the bartender inserted her opinion (un-asked and un-wanted) into our conversation. Â It was inappropriate, but we just shrugged her off. Â This did not sit well with her, she proceeded to raise her voice to us which is obviously strange given we're the customers. Â It got to the point that others in the bar were staring at her and at that point she was embarrassed, as she should be. Â I sent an email to Bunny's management about this situation and never got a response.
As others have noted, there are 90 year old grampas and 60 year old women touting overnight bags as regulars. Â While entertaining at first, it really becomes sad quickly.
Having been to Bunny's on multiple occasions over the years I can safely say that it is what it is. It will never get better than a 2 star MEH. Here's why;
Everything is just ok. The food is ok. The drinks are ok. The service is ok. The prices are ok.
The atmosphere, as some have already stated, is odd. Way too many times have I been in here late at night only to find children having dinner with their parents. We're talking about 10pm and later. What? Really? I'm a father and all I can think is "Why aren't these kids in bed?"
And can we talk about the lighting? Way, way, way, way too bright for a bar. Fine during the day but at night let's tame it down a bit eh?
Also, as others have stated, it's always packed with old timers. Don't get me wrong, I love old timers. I go to the Legion on the reg strictly because of the old timers, but the old timers at The Leg have a certain quality to them. The old timers at Bunny's are just your everyday, generic, look down on young people, old timers. No pizazz.
Two things do stand out though. #1 - On Friday and Saturday nights they have cheap burgers late at night. $3 last time I was there. Obviously frozen burgers but we're talking about drunk food here. #2 - The back bar. Go there. It's more like a real bar.
Mediocre at best. If that's your thing, hop on Bunny's. If not, come see me at the SLP Legion down the street. I'll be sitting at the bar waiting for you to buy me a beer.
This place was hoppin'
Bunny's is the archetypal sports bar. Beer, TVs, and wall to wall people. Its Thursday people, don't you have homes? :)
This place was Loud when the hockey tournament was on, but settled down to a dull roar afterwards. The place looks nice. Â I felt at home here.
We were seated promptly, but had we been any more than two we would have waited.
I ordered Surly Bender to my wife's coca cola. They had a couple of other interesting brews (Brau Bros Moo Joos for instance) - otherwise it was InBev or domestics.
Burgers for both of us. Sandwiches, wraps, and pizza round out the menu.
Burger's here are cooked to order - either 1/3 or 1/2 pound. My medium was medium. Tender, juicy, and flavorful with BLT and pepper cheese. Fried onions and mushrooms were a plus.
The fries were fresh, hot, and lightly seasoned. They are the kind where you gobble a bunch down before you start on the burger.
The service was attentive, with the server checking back at least 3 times during our meal. The food was delivered fresh and hot from the kitchen.
Definitely on the "I'll be back" list
Well if you suffer from Grandpa Fever, Bunny's is the place to go!
I've only been here once before for a birthday party on a Saturday evening (which was much more livelier as far as music, age group goes), so my last trip this past Saturday afternoon was quite head scratcher!
We were in the area shopping and we decided to stop somewhere for a beer. We decided Bunny's was the only bar around us. I was beyone curious why the entire parking lot was jam-packed. What on earth was going on in there? Well, as you walk in, the pull-tab bonanza packed with what seemed to be a 1960 class reunion of cadillac-driving retirees answered my question. Apparently, that's a normal Saturday there.
As we sat at the bar- we still could not grasp what the draw was of the restaurant?! There were families ordering lunch/dinner right next to the bar of loud booze-filled AARP members. The restaurant's dark-tile, popcorn smell just disn't seem like a place a family goes for dinner. It was just an odd, odd, experience!
When asked recently what my favorite place in SLP is for a going away dinner, Bunny's was the first thing out of my mouth. And then I had to bite my tounge.
Bunny's is my dirty little secret. It's my go-to for takeout bar food, it's the place I go when waiting for my oil change across the street... this could go on for a while. The wings are delicious, burgers great, and the pizza is do-able.
Free popcorn, incredibly affordable prices, taco bar, and a neighborhood feel that you just can't get going to most other places in the hood. I'd take Bunny's over McCoys pretty much any day of the week. So no its not 5 stars for the food, but the whole experience has that dive bar feel that I love so much.
Just had the Bunny's Special Pizza and thought it was great. 2 beers, a 16 inch pizza with tons of toppings and tasty sauce...$35 bucks including tip. Â Can't complain.
I didn't see the "filth and dirt" others have mentioned. Â The guy's john was clean and aside from some popcorn debris by the popcorn machine, it looked okay to me and my wife.
It is a local hang out, always packed. Â Some of the sandwiches are just okay, but mostly, the bar food is a good value.
You can't please everyone, I guess. Â I do agree that the service can be hit or miss.
I have been to Bunny's when it was in the old building and now in the new building. Â I would tend to agree with some others in that they must have moved the dirt and filth from the old building to the new one.
This is a place mostly frequented by locals that like it because it is what they have always known.
I am fine with well established community restaurants but they still need to provide service to new customers which they do not.
The service is mostly based upon their convenience; so, do not go there if you are in a hurry or expect someone to check back to your table for more than the order, food delivery, and check.
Then there is the food. Â Basically, it looks and tastes as though it came from the bulk frozen food aisle and not quality frozen foods.
To sum it up: Â Dirty, poor service, low quality food.
I'm really quite hesitant to review this place so well. Â Not because it doesn't deserve it, but because I don't want everyone reading this to take this dive-bar over.
Bunny's has been around forever (literally). Â It seems like no matter how old someone is, they remember Bunny's being there.
If you don't like dive bars, do NOT go here. Â This is your definition of a dive bar. Â They couldn't care less if you sat yourself, and they will be there when they are free to take your order. Â Otherwise, you can get a drink yourself from the bar. Â Either way, they don't want you to be "too good" to be there. Â If you are, trust me, you will be called out and the "Norms" of the place will let you know that there might be a better watering hole for you.
Wings = AMAZING. Â After 9pm, they are even cheaper. Â If you are feeling lucky, try their free taco bar (I don't know how long it's been sitting out and they don't care to tell you either). Â The free popcorn is always good and heading there for a Twins or Vikings game is one of the best experiences someone can live through.
The only reason I didn't give Bunny's 5 stars, is because I didn't want this to stand out as one of the few 5-stars I give out. Â If you took the time to read this, I 100% give this place 5 stars, just don't go out and tell your friends.
I went to Bunny's this past week after I looked it up on Yelp and was happy to have made the trip. Â The bar is a bit to big for me and it was extremely loud, but a good place to have a beer and watch a game. Â I also had some great soup there: Lentil Beef Curry... Â Yeah, it sounds a bit odd, but it was delicious! Â
That was all I ate as I wasn't feeling very good and was at the end of a long business trip, but it hit the spot. Â
Service is a bit different as the bartenders are older and quirky. Â Whiz (Wheez) was at our end of the bar and while really appreciative of our business, its a bit unusual seeing two bartenders in their 60's when most have cute young girls in them. Â Go figure. Â
I don't think I would visit again because I like new places and Minneapolis is huge, but if you are in the area, check it out. Â
BTW, parking is a pain! Â Make sure you read the signs so you don't get a ticket (No, I didn't get one). Â :)
I've only been there for a beer or two with my soccer team after practices. And honestly, that will probably be the only time I go here. Let's be honest, it's pretty dirty. To me it's a larger scale dive bar. It's sweet that they have plenty of HD TVs, so it's a good spot for watching the game.
The only other plus I can think of is that they have $0.25 wings Mon-Thurs starting at 9pm, and starting at 10pm from Fri-Sat. I would recommend the Cajun and the Jammin' Jamaican wings. The Cajun ones are crunchy and well seasoned, although it's packed with salt. It's labeled as Mild. The Jammin' Jamaican wings are labeled as Very Hot, but I think it could have been notched down to just Hot. Nice flavor with a slightly sweet taste. But unfortunately, nothing really Jamaican about them, and I would know since I am Jamaican :)
The other pub grub my buddies got looked pretty decent, so I would imagine it tasted good also. In my opinion, go there after your local kickball game for some beers and wings
Mike Tice and I have one thing in common. Â We both love Bunny's. Â In the vast wasteland of nightlife in the suburbs, this bar shines bright. Â I had been to Bunny's in the past previous to it becoming our wiffleball league post game bar, including the day I spent 14 hours and had all three meals there, but I really began to appreciate it when I started making weekly visits. Â
There is a good mix of beer league sports teams, leathery skinned cougars, and suits. Â Plenty of room and plenty of TVs to go around making it difficult to not get a good seat. Â
The beer list is impressive and they rotate a beer of the month which is always something good, aside from last summer's Newcastle summer ale which tasted like gutter water. Â They also have an impressive menu which I've rarely ordered from due to two factors:
1. Â They have a free taco bar at 10 pm. Â Coincidentally that is shortly after my wiffleball league rolls in. Â That taco cart doesn't ever stand a chance. Â They don't refill it so when it's gone it's gone. Â
2. Â Every weeknight they have 25 cent wings. Â Six flavors, all very tasty, and the wings are actually a decent size, unlike the sorry excuse for wings that BW3 peddles. Â
In summation, this bar is a big reason why I go from a B cup to a D cup every summer. Â Bastards.
My buddy was over and I owed him a lunch. I had an Entertainment Book coupon for Bunny's about 2 miles away. SCORE!
The place was packed on a Saturday afternoon, like no parking spaces packed.
We entered, I had been here multiple times before and it really sucked before the smoking ban because you would reek upon exiting, (Which would be a good rock group band name) But now, it is a just a neighborhood dive bar that is just a few steps up from a dive bar. The old Vikings coach Mike Tice used to have his own parking space here.
I ordered a Surly Furious, but alas from their awesome beer taps, they only had Bender. So I ordered the old stand by, A Summit EPA. Always a nice hoppy and refreshing beer. My second beer later, I ordered a Fulton, a Minneapolis local brew that is making its mark. Had a nice, but unique ale taste.
The menu is plentiful and lots of chicken sandwiches if you want them, I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with cottage cheese. They have a bunch of sides you can choose from, but I like the cottage cheese option if you don't want something too greasy or dressing based.
The sandwich was a solid 2 sided chicken breast with some mildly spicy Buffalo sauce that says hello to your tongue after awhile. The bun was lightly toasted with a hint of butter and some lettuce and a tomato slice. Perfect. The chicken was moist and everything was just right. Even the blue cheese dressing needs mentioning. Huge chunks in it, and I would bet that it is homemade. The slices of celery on the side just complemented an already really good and reasonably priced meal.
My buddy ordered the California Burger with fries, which looked amazing! He was fully satiated and we had a lot of laughs. He said the burger was fantastic.
Overall, a fun atmosphere. With the coupon (Good for up to $9.50) I got out of there with two beers and two entrees and tip for about 26 bucks. Not too shabby, and our waitress was very nice to top it off.
Such a fun place to go on a weekend.
I would have to say whenever i don't know where to go....Bunny's is my go-to. If you're looking for romantic atmosphere, quiet dinner or gourmet food...you're not meant for bunny's BUT if you're looking for THE best bar food in town, great people watching, perfect bloodies, vikings fans and free popcorn...this is your place.
The brunch is amazing...the pizza is awesome and i've tried several different things on the menu which have all been great. It's a great group of poeple mixed with college kids (sat and sun mornings), regulars who have been going forever and families. I absolutely love it.
Bunny's is... Bunny's. Â It has been there FOREVER, hence the older clientele. Â However, Sunday brunch is where it's at. Â It's not going to blow your hair back - it's standard breakfast stuff.
BUT - you do get a free bloody mary or screwdriver with some of the brunch items. Â I mean, what could possibly be better than a free cocktail and some grease if you're hungover from the night before?
Good place if you're hungover, need some grease and carbs, and want to play some pulltabs while you wait. Â Free bloody mary? Â Don't mind if I do.
I have to be honest with you, this place was kind of weird. Â It was a mix of people not my age group. Â The crowd was alternately old guys, or kids. Â No one in their 20s or 30s seemed to be there. Â And this was for Sunday night football.
My food was good enough, I got the pork tenderloin, which reminded me of going to school in Southern Indiana.
But given that I live in Downtown Minneapolis, I probably won't find myself at this place again any time in the near future.
I'm pretty sure the black bean burger here is the same one that they have at the Bad Waitress. The difference?
1. Bunny's has Big Buck Hunter as well as many other video games. Big Buck Hunter let's me kill animals without actually killing them. Who doesn't want to shoot some meerkats while waiting for their food?
2. Bunny's is called Bunny's. Amazing.
3. The clientele at Bunny's doesn't take themselves seriously and, therefore, they rule a lot more.
4. Bunny's has actual parking and lots of it.
5. Bunny's has a shit ton more booze. Trust me.
6. French fries. What the hell kind of place that serves food doesn't have french fries? The Bad Waitress. The fries at Bunny's are pretty much the best ones I've ever had.
7. Let's be honest with each other, the food at the Bad Waitress isn't that great. Stop lying to yourself.
8. Old people. Lots and lots of old people. Lots and lots of old people on the fast track to getting drunk. Beautiful.
Oh, and that black bean burger? It's like a burrito and a burger had a baby. DELICIOUS.
My boyfriend refuses to come here with me (even though it's walking distance) because the crowd usually skews pretty old at all hours of the day. It might be the run off from the golf course near by. Either way, my boyfriend doesn't know what the hell he's talking about because this is apparently where the party's at. When we went on a Friday late afternoon there was a table of middle aged women throwing back beer bombs. If that's not a good time, then I don't know want to know you.
The alcohol is pretty cheap (pretty standard selection but I swear I get all pavlovian when honeyweiss is listed) and the food a plenty! This ain't no gastropub but the tuna melt  and the grilled chicken sandwich are pretty tasty. The fries are always deliciously seasoned and salty. And there's a whole game room so you can play big game hunter while waiting for your food. If that's not enough, they have all you can eat free taco bar from like 9PM - 11PM. Diarrhea, you say? And right you  may be, but beggars can't be choosers now can they.
I am officially in love with Bunny's. Â I had previously only been in here to consume copious amounts of alcoholic beverages in the evening, but for the first time ever met up with a friend at Bunny's for lunch. Â
Food is cheap and good, and us two thirsty kids had our waters replenished repeatedly. Â I got the tuna melt and it tasted great. Â Our server kicked ass with her stories of milking goats back in Wisconsin and tales of road trips gone awry. Â Plus, she laughed at my lunch partner Mark's jokes.
Maybe next time I'll be adventerous and get food and drinks at the same time. Â Speaking of that, who wants to meet up at Bunny's?!
