Cafe Z

I went here for a Birthday Party and the food and drinks are good but once I got my check the waitress over charge me by $30.00. The waitress was rude and manager. They knew she made a mistake and didn't apologize for error. This young waitress did this to several other tables as well. I will never again go to Cafe Z's in Union, NJ again. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. IF YOU GO DOUBLE CHECK YOUR TAB AND CHECK. I WILL REPORT THIS BBB AND RIPOFF.COM

My name is charles A Carr from hunterdon county New Jersey.  I would love to put the word out that myself and all my friends, we drive up to Cafe Z twice a month for a delicious meal.  I am not a dessert eater but I made an exception because the dessert was out of this world!!!  Service was prompt and professional like none other!! Please know that I find the Italian food the best tasting around and so ever kid friendly for a family outing.....Enjoy Bon a petite!!!

I went there as Groupon customer. I called first and asked if they are open today. A lady answered said yes and they said no problem with 2 people for lunch. When I went there. The lady said we don't accept Groupon on holiday (no mention of this anywhere) and they told us that they cannot really seat us because I have no reservation. I was ready to have little fuse with her. She then changed her mind and set us down and took Groupon certificate for brunch, it was Easter Sunday. Overall food was good, not great. Many people were there, little crowded, hardly no place to walk without bumping to people. Place was in basement of some building. I would probably not going to be back there anytime soon, even I live 5 minutes away from there. It was $30 brunch ($15 each), I gave $40 value certificate from Groupon and $7 for tip.

Update: I just got rude response back from the owner for this comment. I now forced to lower my rating for this place and other people also should avoid this place.
