Stumbled upon this place while looking for the Hollywood Ventura lot for the shuttle to the Hollywood Bowl. Didn't look like much from the outside, but once inside was pleasantly surprised. A little old and eclectic. Varied menu. Price are very good. We were very happy with our meal. Wife got the osso bucco, and I got the beef bourgigion

Always amazing!

I don't know how this place manages to stay in business, because the food is truly awful. or, at best, i guess incredibly mediocre.

I do think, however, that they may employ actors to not only serve the awful food but also to inhabit the personas of stereotypically rude Frenchmen.
