From the outside this place looks like a low rent Red Lobster.
However, while this is a fast food place, it is actually a lot better than I expected. They do have cheaper meals, but I got one of the "premium" plates. Â I got the ultimate sampler, which was two fried fish, two chicken strips, two hushpuppies, four shrimp, and two crab cakes. With Fries and cole slaw and a drink it came to a little under $11 total (Large drink is about $2). These prices are comparable to Long John Silvers. It was a good deal of food for $9. Thats what you'd pay for a foot long meal at Subway.
But the food is better than Long John Silvers. The chicken strips were surprisingly good, as was the fish. The food in general is not as greasy as Long John Silvers or Red Lobster's. The chicken and fish were done well. The Crab cakes are baked inside Dungeoness crab shells (about 4 inches or so), and were very good. Probably the best part of the meal. I like the shrimp better than Long John Silver's (again, not as greasy). They were breaded instead of tempura'd or whatever LJS does. Â The fries and cole slaw were forgettable, but not awful.
The place was surprisingly clean, and the staff was polite. The dining room had lots of booths and was spotless. Bathrooms were clean and well kept up as well. This isnt the best seafood I've had in Denver, but it is definitely best seafood that is *fast food*. Frankly, in a lot of ways the food was better than Red Lobster too, and far cheaper.
