This is a hard one to review. For me, the one time I went, had few drinks, so the atmosphere was a little crazy. I felt a bit too old for the crowd, but at the same time, it was a holiday weekend to, so every college student was home.

Not too impressive, typical bar, small dance floor, with what looks to be the usual crowd mixed with college students.

Have to give this place another try during a usual Friday/ Saturday night.

    Dear Massachusetts,

Why oh why do you still have blue laws? What BAR can't serve bloody marys before noon? What type of brunch is brunch without hangover cures?! What ever happened to the American Revolution?! What IRISH descendents allow such deplorable behavior!?

Whatever, anyway. We came here for breakfast around 11am sunday morning. Everything was delicious - I had blueberry pancakes and homefries and cup after cup of coffee. I would recommend the food more if I could have washed it all down with a bloody mary. Our waitress was very nice, however, esp when she split the bill eight ways.

The point is, if you go here on a Sunday for brunch before noon, expect breakfast instead, because you're not gonna be able to cure your hangover here. Like us, just walk down the street to the CATMAN!

I went here once and would never go back. We sat at our table for a good twenty mins before being asked our drink order. It took another ten to get us those drinks. The rest of the evening went that way as well. Then they messed up our bill and our waitress had no idea how to fix it. Then after a few days I realized they charged my credit card wrong and had to call them to fix it. The only thing good about that place was that they had live entertainment.

I had a Groupon I bought a while back that we finally got a chance to use recently.

This was a cozy little Irish pub in Mansfield center, and there was a very good Irish band playing while we dined.  Our server was nice enough, but I think we were forgotten about for a little while after we ordered.  Our mozarella sticks came out very quickly and were very good.  They were homemade and huge!  Definitely not the plain frozen style you get at a local pizza joint.  Once we finished our app, we waited probably around 40 minutes for our entrees to come out.  I was surprised, since we were the only ones in the dining area (everyone else was in the bar area, where the band was playing), so it's not like the kitchen was busy.  I got the bangers and mash, which were pretty solid.  I wish they came with beans like they do at a couple of my other favorite Irish pubs.  I don't remember what the boyfriend ordered, but I'm sure I tried a bite, so I guess it wasn't anything particularly memorable.

Overall, a decent enough place.  Not my favorite local Irish pub, but I wouldn't be opposed to going back.  Especially if it's at a discounted fare!

I have visited this pub twice.  The only reason we were drawn back there the second time was because we living walking distance to it.  The first time we brought our friend there for the half price apps (everyday 2-5pm).  We got there at 4:50 and they honored the deal.  I thought it was a bit odd that the only other people in the whole place was one other couple.  We figured it would pick up, but not really.  We left around 8 and it was still pretty empty.  There was a musician playing the keyboard, which was fine.  Unfortunately, some trashy woman came in and started heckling him which ruined it.  The food was ok at best.  We shard a few of the appetizers.  The nachos were seriously lacking cheese, but being a vegetarian they didn't have much to offer for me. I also tried the irish pizza with mashed potatoes minus the bacon.  It was lack luster for sure.

I went back in there last week for Wednesday night trivia. It also said $2 burger on the sign all day so my fiance wanted that. Again when we walked in we were nearly the only ones there at 8pm.  The bartender, who I think was the owner, couldn't have cared less about us.  We asked about the $2 burger and were informed that is only a deal on Tuesday?  We decided to get the Longtrail IPA on draft.  Gross.  It was over carbonated and stale.  We waited about 30 minutes for nachos and a small cheese pizza. During that time it was clear that there wasn't going to be trivia since it never started. The nachos again had hardly any cheese and the pizza was ok.  My fiance waited for 10 minutes with an empty glass before the owner came back to ask if he wanted another one.  He was too busy chatting with another bartender who was sitting at the bar with his friends. I didn't order a second beer and we left as soon as my fiancé was done with his Guinness.

Picked out this place on Yelp.  Not a bad take.   Not enough beers on draft, but they did have Seadog and Smithwicks.  The onion soup was ok.  The "Shilleleigh sticks " were very good.  They were like Irish eggrolls, with corned beef in them.  I would have put a bit more cabbage in them, but still they were very tasty.

I am a local and I pop into Casey's from time to time. They have good bands, and the drinks are always good and strong. The food is pretty good as well. What I love about this place is they have something different each night of the week- Karaoke, trivia, live bands, 80's night, etc. Sometimes the place gets a little too crowded and it's impossible to find a seat. However, overall it's a great place to visit or take a date.

I live around the corner from this place, and finally tried it with my boyfriend last night. Well, we weren't disappointed. The atmosphere was wonderful, the live music was as it should be in a small Irish pub- a two-man group with acoustic guitars, not overpowering. TVs in the center of the amazing harp-shaped bar played the Breeder's Cup, then switched to the Bruins game...and the place was full of enthusiastic, but not too rowdy people.

We were able to converse even with the music playing, and my Black & Tan was fantastic. We had trouble deciding what to eat because everything sounded amazing, but finally settled on shepherd's pie (me) and a Reuben. The bartender (who was new) mistakenly put in the wrong sandwich, but the mistake was quickly righted after we got the food.

My shepherd's pie was delicious- corn and peas were obviously not fresh, but in that dish it works- I'll definitely be having it again. My partner's Reuben and full plate of just-crispy-enough french fries were too much for him to finish, but he only left a few bites of the sandwich. I take that as a good sign, as they're his favorite and he's had them everywhere.

We left around when it was getting crowded and a second band was setting up, but will definitely be returning- probably for breakfast as well. Having frequented the Irish pub scene around here in the past, I can say that Casey O'Conor's blew me away with its ambiance, charming staff, and fabulous food.

Don't know what's happened to this pub over the last year or so, but in all honestly...it's gone downhill.....I was there the first week it opened, several years back, and had a bad experience but figuring it was just opening month jitters...so I went back several weeks later. What an amazing turnaround...I went from having to wait 15 min for our waitress with the bad attitude serving bad food to the totally opposite. 10-12 times in a row within a years time, we received excellent service....great food and respectable portions..clean restrooms and the chef even came out to talk with us...offered us a complimentary appetizers and made sure...on several occasions, we had a good dining experience!!..  A solid 4 and a half stars in my book!!

However...over the last year....This "Pub" seems to have reverted back to it's former self?....A new Menu?...If you're going to rip off your competition's menu...you can at least make the food close to the way it's suppose to be made...The Food was bland......overcooked...undercooked some was hot...some was cold...very inconsistent...The service was mediocre, to say the least, and it seems less of a friendly place with the servers "Attitudes" returning.....There were cigarette butts littered all over the entrance and the rest rooms had much to be desired.....Once upon a time This was once one of the...if not THEE number one Pub in the Area.....I will give this place one more shot down the road...however...for now...I'll patronize other "Irish" venus...

They are now offering breakfast; so I tried it, Very good traditional Irish breakfast with black and white pudding, grilled tomato, etc. They also offer standard fare and lots of omelets. It is not crowded in the mornings on weekends.

Nice local Irish pub. Bartender was attentive and funny. The food was tasty- we ordered a few appetizers (wings, delicious gorgonzola stuffed mushrooms, and chips and curry).  The menu itself had some unique items on it, so I'm sure we'll be back.

Went here on Tuesday night which is Comedy Night...

The food was good, service was good,... good beers as well.  But the comedy was not so good. I was there with a bunch of coworkers and we got a few apps and everyone got meals which they all enjoyed. That's a good sign!

    Def cute bartenders :)

A resident of Foxboro, I took a group of visiting friends to this bar for a few beers.

First, it took about 25 minutes for the waitress to check our ID's, literally.  Since I moved here from out-of-state, I had a Mass ID and all of my friends had ID's from my home state, except for one, who had a Marine Corps ID.  We are all on the cusp of 30 and within a few months of each others in birthdays.  Still, we were made to feel a nuisance because I brought in people who aren't townies.  Sadly, we don't even look young...

Second, please pour the beer to the top of the pitcher or pint!  If you are getting cheap on beer than it's time to close up shop.  If you bought too big of glasses than go back and buy other sizes!

    Now, what went well?

The environment was nice.  The decor is consistent with that of an Irish pub.  The bar is 360 degrees, making it easy to belly up and grab a bartender.  I have always thought it was a pain to find a spot to get a bartenders attention if the bar is small and covered in stools.  If it's packed, waitresses don't often tend to standing people.  Casey's addresses this problem.

The person who I believe was the owner was in the bar and thanked us for coming to the bar.  This is all about class in my book and it's the reason I will go back to Casey's to give it another shot.  Good people deserve second chances and I will be happy to re-review after I return.

This place is definitely a townie place to go, but it is great. The atmosphere has an Irish twist, but the food is delicious. They have everything from traditional Irish food such as Corned Beef and Cabbage and pasties to more traditional American pub food such as burgers, sandwiches and Nachos.
If you go in on the weekend expect loud local live music. It is fun and festive as long as you are prepared for listening to music.
It doesn't look good from the outside but go in! it is great!

Love this place. My friend introduced it to me when she invited me to trivia night (Wednesdays). I've yet to be disapointed.

The trivia host is great. There's a great mixed crowd. Everyone's friendly, especially the bar staff.

I've only eaten here once, but my friend and I tried to split the nachos. There was so much stuff piled on it we couldn't finish. They were so delicious, though.

The prices on draft beer are very reasonable. I got a Sam Adams seasonal without having to pay an arm and a leg. My friend got Shipyard Pumpkin and paid around the same.

I'll keep coming back, for sure. It's a great place to meet up with friends during the week. I'm 23 and I didn't feel like I was "too young" to hang out there, if you catch my drift.

Been here a handful of times recently.  Live music on Friday & Saturdays, pretty decent bands.

The food is above average for a pub - very good.

I like this place and will continue to go here - good food, relaxed atmosphere.

Located in the middle of the complicated Mansfield Center this is one great looking pub. Very cozy over sized gas fireplace located right across from the harp shaped bar. We got really lucky and wandered in on their year anniversary. The Gobshites an organized session was blaring Irish trad and the Guinness was the best pint I have tasted down here in the "sticks". Comparable to the Irish Village in Brighton in regards to the Guinness. We split an order of buffalo wings and a Guinness french onion soup, will definitely be back again soon.
