This place is the worst do not go here! It was bad enough to motivate me to open a yelp account for the sole purpose of reviewing this pile of steaming heap of... This place is a drug spot, gangs go there, the girls look sick and the security are a bunch of unprofessional violent thugs, and the police took an hour to show up when the security beat someone up. I checked this place out because I thought the half naked girls would be a fun time. Don't waste your time they are not worth it at all. Save your time and money and take the ride to the suburbs. Don't believe me, check it out, but you have been warned. Good luck. :)
Review Source:. I can't tell my whole story for fear of being identified by these people but, let me just say I was somewhat of a regular customer at cha cha's. I got to know a few of the dancers there and if I hesitated at all in notifying the authorities about this place it was because of them. There are a few decent honest girls there, but there is also the other half that gets posted about on Google reviews. They accept being treated like prostitutes by the owner and they like it because it allows them to act as if they are part owners of the club and exercise their trade in and out of the club. The problem for the other dancers who refuse to accept the sexual advances of the management are left to be continually harassed abused and in two documented instances physically abused and beaten by the other dancers under direct orders of the manager and the head of security. These two incidents coincidentally happened to two dancers that I know. When I brought this up to management and showed a hint of disapproval... that was the same night I myself was beaten, robbed, and arrested. I still have the scars on my face and the defensive scars on my hands and arms. Miraculously for the owners none of the 20+ cameras where working that night. I was accused of being intoxicated and of causing a disturbance. I don't drink...
We have the written testimonies of the other dancers who, where beaten by the other dancers and threatened with arrest when they asked for assistance from the security. The policy of this BAR is that, "if you call the cops for anything, you will be arrested and fired." These two dancers are not typical of the others in that they both refused to participate in what was expected of them by the owners, patrons, and other dancers. They, "have firsthand knowledge of what happens in this drug filled, gang infested, whore house." I am sorry if the language offends but it's their words not mine. My issue with these people is personal and I am pleading and asking for any assistance from the community members and business owners to speak up and join me on the next hearing date so that they can be closed for good. We were scared into not going this time but now that we know that the board of zoning was not aware of the dancers. We plan to hit them with three impact statements and the full description of the operations within the BAR. To give you a glimpse, the dancers are required to pay 150 to dance at this place and are required to be there and to perform dances in a very specific fashion while wearing nothing but a G-string and a bikini top. If a customer is rude, respects no limits, or gets out of line, the girls are left to fend for themselves. The security, encourage some girls to go as far as the dimly lit room will allow. The drugs are like in every other club but it is the humble opinion of this poster that the club is supplying the drugs to the patrons of this neighborhood. I cannot prove this so I will only call it an opinion. I base that on the fact that when there is a group of people whom I have on numerous occasions observed partake in the use of cocaine in the washroom, shake the hand of the head of security before entering the washroom he is guarding.
There is so much more but I really don't know what departments to call or what to say if anyone knows anyone that knows someone please post instructions. The employees are non-English speakers and I doubt that they have proper I-9's on file for the IRS to inspect. The security is also exclusively non-English speakers. One of the bar backs let me in on a little secret, the top shelf bottles are watered down with much cheaper brands then served to inebriated patrons who would not notice a difference or remember if they did. Secondly, the waitresses are allowed to and encouraged to sell drinks and dances for tips. The ask you to buy them a drink and charge the price of a top-shelf shot and drink a shot full of seltzer water. After which they ask you to dance a song with them for five dollars. All of these girls must pay a fee to enter and work for the bar, the waitresses' per drink fee is seven dollars regardless of drink. The girl keeps four the bar keeps three, multiply this by ten (the average number of waitresses), and you have yourself a very lucrative business. Now add to that the fifteen to twenty dancers at (150) one-hundred and fifty a week, you get a minimum of (3000) three thousand dollars a week on the dancer's fees alone. I can't begin to imagine what the nightly tally would be if you include all the alcohol peddled by the beer girls, I mean the waitresses. Now something new, anyone could search the location on the cook county Assessor's website and see the status of Cha Cha's property tax appeals and see that the second larger part of this bar is classified as, "enclosed parking structure".
It's places like this that make me question the company I keep.
I believe somewhere around midnight on a Saturday, my buddy Tyson suggested that we go to ChaCha's. The only reason I wanted to go was because I had heard the name before accompanied by horror stories. I walked in and realized that nothing was exaggerated. When my buddy had his bachelor party a few years ago, the best man hired the entertainment from ChaChas. Some of the fellas in attendance actually left the party when the dancing began.
The same should be done at this place. Instead, I proceeded to hand out 5 spots so my pal could enjoy 20 minute lap dances. Seriously. 20 minutes for 5 bucks. I would call this a value, but the most entertaining part of those 20 minutes was counting the stretch marks and stab wounds on the girls.
The music is mostly banda with a bit of raggaeton. There's a few pool tables. They've got several TVs for all of your futbol watching desires. A word to the wise for the ladies - if you have to use the ladies room - be prepared to watch the "talent" change in the bathroom. Bring some lysol wipes.
This place is really a bar with girls walking around in stripper attire, however it's not a strip club since the girls don't strip. There are plasmas showing the games, a full bar and menu. The wait staff is very good. They play all types of music anything from Vicente Fernandez to Daddy Yankee. The girls charge $10 for a lap dance (highly recommended). There is no vip room so the girls come to you. There are all types of girls there, some better looking than others but overall a very good variety. Security is tight anc checks everyone at the door. The crowd is mixed...young and old, black, white, hispanic. It's not as bad a place as you might have heard. I'd go here over any strip club anytime.
Review Source:If you go here, be prepared for a weird mix of nasty and puro nasty. That's Spanish for very nasty. This place brings seedy to new levels. I'm surprised I'm the first to review. Prolly not the type of place a yelper rolls into, but I'm Chava, so I do. This is the type of place a couple of dudes can walk into and get into some serious trouble. But if you manage to avoid that, you'll have a swell time.
Oh yeah nice pool tables, the clientele seems iffy, but if you cool they're cool. Music of choice is narcocorridos. Oh yeah, ladies dancing in bikinis for tips.
