Champps Americana

Pretty good food and nice but slow service.
We were on our way to the airport and had a late lunch.  The onion soup was delicious and hot.  The philly steak sandwich was also very good.  The service was a little slow but pleasant.

The spinach dip was really good. The place is very clean and appealing.  It's a great place to eat before walking to the movies next door.

I remember coming here years ago, but we had stopped because the place was always super busy. I forgot about it for a while, but then I saw a Living Social coupon and figured it was time to give it another go. So glad we did!

I decided to order the walnut crusted chicken, while my friend chose the lemon peppercorn chicken (which apparently is a temporary menu option). We both LOVED our meals. My chicken was so incredibly flavorful, and there was a ton of it! You get three thinly pounded chicken cutlets that are cooked perfectly, and there is no way you will be able to finish your meal. I had just one of the pieces and I was full. Yay leftovers! It comes with garlic mashed potatoes, but you can do what I did and substitute waffle fries.

Seriously, the food was so darn good, I'm surprised there weren't more people here when we visited. I hope more people frequent this place... just not as many as before so I don't have a long wait ;)
