You know, I really wanted to like this place. Like, I really wanted to like this place. The coffee is kind of pricey and geezze, every time I go in there it seems like I get the same moody barista who is upset that I am there...buying coffee? The food is good, but I always feel unwelcomed. Take some happy pills folks...please?
Review Source:Charmers Cafe/Dagel and Beli is a really phenomenal place. I'm not sure of it's official name, however, I fondly refer to it as Dagel and Beli. Overall, the bagel sandwiches are great (however, recently they've limited their once very extensive and wonderful sandwich menu). They also have some great shakes (Ooga Booga) and I enjoy their discounted drinks with their Charmers cup. Also, if you're smart you'll be able to save some money with their daily trivia question. I'm a New Yorker, and grew up on bagels, so while I'm not a fan of "steamed" bagels, I always get my bagels toasted, I really enjoy the ambiance at this place. The only reason why it's not 5 stars is because I somehow spend more money than I ever expect to for a drink and a bagel sandwich ($10). Overall, it's a wonderful place to spend a weekend morning.
