It tasted like someone dipped the crunchies from a piece of Long John Silver's fish in sweet and sour sauce

I ordered General Tso's chicken. I know all Chinese restaurants pad their General Tso's and Sesame chicken orders with extra breading but this was ridiculous. I stopped eating after the 5th piece had no chicken what-so-ever. I even went after the larger pieces thinking there had to be some kind of meat in there somewhere but nothing. At least  1/2 the order was fried dough balls with no chicken and the other half had so little it wasn't worth eating. It was so bad I actually called to complain thinking something had to have gone wrong. It took a while for them to understand my complaint, but they eventually offered to remake the order-if I brought back my 1st order, which I gladly did. Unfortunately the 2nd order was no better and I tossed it all together. I am by far the least picky eater I know. I love food -even mediocre food especially if there is deep fried meat involved. But this was disgusting. I will never return!

The food is decent enough and the staff are always nice.  If you have been to any greasy Chinese restaurant, you know what you are in for...My only complaint, no air conditioning.  I know they probably don't want east side denizens hanging out inside but it gets ridiculous in here sometimes.  I don't know how the cook stands it when it 95 degrees plus just in the dining room.

LOVE living someplace where I can call a Chinese restaurant and have the food show up at my door less than 20 minutes later. This restaurant can turn a really long crazy crappy day right around when I get home late, am starving, and find there's no food...tada! Cheer King Star! The food is really cheap and you get a boat-load of it. It isn't the best by any means, but it's never tasted bad and we've never gotten sick (eaten it at least a dozen times in 10 months)...it's pretty darn good! Sometimes I even crave their rangoons, which are included free if your order is over a certain amount.

The interior is decorated in old calendars featuring Chinese schoolgirls and sports cars, the temperature is never comfortable, and it's kinda stained/dirty looking. My advice? If you're weird about the aforementioned, always have the food delivered. Delivery kid is friendly and the food will arrive piping hot.

I'm kind of torn as to my rating. Is there better Chinese food that I prefer in town? Definitely yes. But clearly the # of times I've ordered qualifies me as "a fan". And none of those other places will bring the food to me when I'm bra-less and barefoot at 8pm in January. 4 stars it is!

Free delivery and cheap, decent Chinese.
Don't plan on eating here - that's for sure.

Great food, but not a good eat-in place.

When I'm tired and can't bear to even venture into the kitchen after a long day, Cheer King Star usually comes to the rescue.  They always get the order correct...and the delivery service makes a cold and rainy night so much more palatable.
