Let me preface this review by saying I grew up on La Hacienda. Quesdailla Verde, Vegetarian B, and Enchiladas Haciendas are dishes that will always be with me and my reminiscent stomach.
However, La Hacienda is much like El Rodeo and El Jaripeo in that they cater to people who want a certain type of Mexican. This is food is more authentic than taco bell, but very unoffensive. It's good food and it serves its purpose.
I'll come here when I crave chicken nachos or margaritas. Otherwise, It's La Parada time.
Time to update my review and recognize some major upgrades at my favorite local Mexican joint. Â If you haven't been there in a while, you won't recognize it when you walk in. Â They replaced all of the furniture and it is now bright and cheerful inside. Â They also replaced the menus, though I think most of the entrees are the same. Â And even the grumpy employee has been less grumpy lately. Â I'm really happy to upgrade my review of this place, as it is my favorite hangout on the Eastside!
