Cheri's Rib Shack

I crave the tangy, sultry goodness of the Rib Shack. The sauce dances off your tongue like gangnam style while smoking a hickory spliff. The recent remodeling is a great touch. The staff are always friendly. I've been going here since I was a kid. Somehow, this place keeps getting better every time I come back. I love the rib tips. Best in town!  What's up with the blue fountain, though?

I've been coming here for twenty years. Great barbecue. Not a fancy place, but who wants fancy BBQ? Ribs are big and tasty, but the real deal is the rib tip dinner. For $9.99 you get a pound of tips, potato wedges (awesome) and a choice of beans or applesauce.  Beats famous daves by a mile! Check it out.

I am very sorry that I have to write this review. Aside from the very long wait long wait for our food (45 minutes for corn dogs, chicken strips, a sandwich and fried fish). It was supposed to be all you could eat fish. At no point did any staff come to check on our table let alone see if we'd like more fish. One of the staff came before our food showed up to refill our drinks and then forgot to fill them. We I went to see where the drinks were she said she dumped them. The two hostess's were acting very immature and this behavior was tolerated.
This place used to be good but with current staff it leaves much to be desired. The food is average and slightly overpriced. Like I say disappointed with the staff and that sours the whole experience. This could have been a much better review, but the lack of professionalism by the hostess' accompanied by the lack of concern by the wait staff make this a poor review.
