Great local place with amazing deals on happy hour. Husband and I got a pizza and a bunch of $2 Coronas, and we still couldn't finish it all! When the weather is nice, the patio is really great, too.

Went here with my honey because we had a groupon. When we walked in I noticed that the staff consisted of young women with lots of cleavage. I found this to be a little strange for main street in Grapevine. It's more of a bar than restaurant feel inside. The place was pretty much empty when we went in for dinner. I asked the waitress about a couple of menu items and she told me that she had never tried them and didn't know if they were a good choice or not. Also, she told us that the beer special was one price and charged us another. I ordered ribs with fries and coleslaw. The food was average, nothing to write home about. My husband had a ribeye with mashed potato. He thought that the steak was really good and he enjoyed his sides as well. Maybe I should have gone with the steak. The service was just ok. The waitresses seemed to be just hanging around, not doing anything and sitting in the bar area at tables. They also have a stage so I'm guessing they have bands. I think it might be a fun place to go have drinks but I won't be running back anytime soon for the food or service.

Totally unexpected ! I wasn't out of my element here(like I thought i may be)reminded me of college. But, without the drunk fights and plastic cups. The music got better towards the end of the night, it was alot of Calvin Harris/David Guetta then lots of Jayz, Tupac. Good mix! Drinks were on point, bartender new how to make my White Russian just right!

Shockingly great food for both the price and the location.  I can get a full top of the line meal (definitely NOT bar food) for under $10.  Booze is affordable, great specials, and a full meal.  Décor isn't anything special and the last time ''hip'' was mentioned in a sentence with ''Grapevine'' it was referring to the nearby old folks home.  I've never been in when it's packed, but it's because this is Grapevine, where businesses go to die.  If this bar was in Uptown, it'd kill.

I'm being nitpicky.  Chill has become my go to location for a classy (I know, in GRAPEVINE?!) delicious meal.  Great servers, great drink specials, great food.

Looking at the other reviews, I was concerned that this would not be an ideal place for me to spend an afternoon reading and enjoying a frosty beverage. However, in the spirit of the Yelp 100 Challenge I'm trying to branch out, even if it's in my own neighborhood.

I turned out to have a decent time at Chill. I only spent about an hour and half there - by 4:30 it got a little too loud to properly enjoy my book - but when I first arrived it was basically empty, the music wasn't too loud, and the TVs were on mute.

Turns out, on Wednesdays they have $2 Crown and down which meant ALL of their beer was only $2. That is amazing. They also had half off burgers, but I munched on the free chips & salsa I got when I checked in on the Yelp app and filled up. In fact, they had a lot of nice choices for vegetarians on the menu but they serve up a HUGE bowl of salsa and I don't have the willpower to say no to free salsa.

They have a little patio and I think I might be willing to do some day drinking here come next summer. The afternoon hours seem ideal - empty and quiet. But daytime only - even the people who showed up around 4:30 were not my crowd. People talking about having to stop taking shots at 3am when they were there on Wednesday last week sounds like more fun than I can handle.

If you're like me, I dread walking into a place ready for an adult beverage only to see the majority of the patrons are in their 20's.  Chill's crowd is more mature than if you were going somewhere downtown and wish more places like this exist.  That may be because its located in the suburbs, who knows.  I was really surprised how much I enjoyed coming here (so far from downtown fort worth) and listening to music that was popular in my youth.

They have a live band and dancing sometimes.  The live music can make it really hard to talk, even to a person sitting right next to you.

Chill is pretty packed on most weekday evenings and seems to have a lot of regulars.

Like Food? Go here. It's good for the price
Like Sports? Go here. They play the games.
Like Booze? Go here. It's cheaper than any other clubs in the area.
Like Girls? Yep, you get the idea.

This is the perfect bar in the perfect place for Grapevine. It fills the only void that GV hasn't provided.

You want any of the above? Its there for ya.

BTW if you really like wings, go here.

Also, the CO2 drop that they have on the dancefloor is INSANE

It's a bar with good bar food.  I got the wings with spicy sauce and they did not fail to deliver!  Service was good.  The only slight drawback was the noise level, which was more due to the level of music than the number of people in there trying to yell over said loud music.  Now, it's a bar, so it's really to be expected.  However, since people have to yell over the music, you get to hear some very interesting things from nearby tables...

Still, good food, good service, and good beer.

I understand that this place has been through a number of incarnations, including some different formats even under the Chill name, but I have some advice: Keep it like it is now!

Myself and some work buddies descended on the place on a Thursday evening to hang out and have a few drinks. Since the weather was nice, we decided to sit in the voluminous patio area, with its plentiful picnic table seating, brick paver floor and string lights and TVs to provide entertainment. It's a great atmosphere, at once open yet cozy. I did venture inside on the way to the restroom, and it seemed clean and lively in there.

I started with a Blue Moon draft, served with a smile from our lovely server. Using my Yelp! checkin offer, I snagged a free order of chips and salsa, the latter being a fresh made affair with chopped cilantro that I'm quite certain was whole leaf earlier that day. A winner, for sure. Later, I ordered some fried pickles, little thin discs with a cornmeal batter, they were delicious in the homemade ranch dressing that came alongside. I also sampled a co-worker's onion rings, and while he longed for more onion and less batter, I thought they were delicious, with a great GB&D coloring and perfectly seasoned taste.

I didn't try any other food items, but quesadillas got good reviews from my fellow diners, and the service was pretty good during our visit.

In short, this is a great place to, well, chill, and I'd happily go back again. Maybe I'll even sample some dinner next time; if it's as good as the snacks, I'm certain I'll enjoy it!

I was prepared to have a skewed opinion since the owner is a friend, however...I am posting a 100% honest review.  We were running somewhat late for the dinner hour, but we grabbed a table and looked over the menu.  It's really nice to know that they serve late.  I ordered the chicken fried chicken with gravy & hubby got a big burger.  (it was cheat night)  I was totally impressed!  Our service was superb and our food was outstanding, like really yummy!  We enjoyed the rest of the evening hanging out on the patio, where they have these awesome cooling fans and plenty of seating.

I highly recommend Chill, food and atmosphere...both top notch!

Employees too busy chatting to provide decent service. Food meh. The nacho meat was seasoned with oregano - pizza nachos kinda weird.  Non smoking is a good thing!

This seems like a cool bar.  Good bar food and drink and wing specials.  Reminds me of Union Park bar in Chicago :-)

The food is very good!  Generous portions for the money!  Also, they have pretty decent drink specials nightly!  Lots of TV's and a decent sized patio overlooking Main Street in Grapevine.  Can't go wrong here!

Ahhh, another road trip West from our part of the Universe to lovely downtown Grapevine.  Chill is a cool place to "chill out" @ the bar.  Comfy bar chairs with the strip of ice on the bar top to keep your brew really cold.

Greeted warmly by Michelle, the bartender on duty for our first visit to this dive-y spot in Grapevine on a quiet Monday afternoon. She was most personable, friendly and quite attentive. Only a few occupied tables of couples, guys watching the multiple TVs all around; not crowded and loud as other reviewers have posted about night time visits.  We liked that.

It's kinda dark, guess it's supposed to be, but a nice laid back vibe.  Painted concrete floors, high top tables, dark woods.  Definitely a neighborhood kinda place.

1/2 price pizza on Mondays; really, now that's amazing.  We ordered our brews, perused the menu and decided on a 14" pizza, sorta thin crust (Michelle told us the crust was made in house), with pepperoni, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes  and black olives.  Ya know, this wasn't a bad pizza; just enough sauce and cheese, added some red pepper and Parmesan, and it was pretty darn tasty.  And for only $3.98 (regular price is $7.99 for this large size).  A great deal, don'cha think?

Found that they had some other menu options that were also very inexpensive, and certainly would rate this spot as having better than average bar food options (including a Tilapia dish for $7.99)  than found at most spots of this caliber.   (Think I recall Michelle also saying they have 1/2 priced items most every day of the week, including burgers)

Beer prices were nothing spectacular, a little high my BFF thought; Miller Lite draft $3.50.  My Heineken was $4.25.  But, boy were they ice cold and yummy.

Yep, we found this to be somewhere we would probably return on a lazy afternoon when in the Grapevine area.  Would enjoy some time on that huge patio in the Spring.   Happy that we stumbled upon Chill :)

This a cool sports bar if you ever need a place to watch the game, they have SEVERAL tv's around the bar.  This place does turn into a little nightclub at night, and I have to say, I was impressed with the music selection here.  If you are in the mood to dance, come here.  The drinks are reasonably priced, and it won't break your bank.

So was in the Dallas area looking for someplace to 'chill.' Found it here, really cool place to have a drink. And the food was a little better then normal bar-food.

Girls behind the bar were friendly, not overly friendly but still pleasant. It could be because you cant hear yourself talk let along someone else. Which doesn't bother me, played good music (not country). And very reasonably priced.

Chill : Where Grapevine meets Jersey Shore!!!

Went here after meeting up my friends at Cork It for a girls night. We wanted dance and the waiter at Cork It recommended this. He says the staff goes there after they close. So we are like...cant be that bad. Walked across the street and went right in.

First off...I dont see how this place could be dubbed as a sports bar...didnt have the greasy food and neon sign sports bar feel. Plenty of plasma screens...so maybe thats it. The crowd was a mix....from cougars...to hotties like us....and those pesky fist pumping, Jersey Shore wannabees!! There were a few ladies who felt the need to expose their flat booties while grinding with some random ass dude. You are skinny and cute... there is no need for that. Dont complain the next day if you wake up with him and have to do the walk of shame...and he doesnt call you again. The drinks were kind of weak...we bought for our group 3 vodka tonics...well vodka, nothing fancy...and 2 double royal f*cks...the tab was 50 bucks alone for that...I am like are we in San Diego or in Grapevine, TEXAS??? Why are they charging like we are at a real club??

The music was good...could have been mixed better. The DJ was kind of a tool....he would say random things while spinning...and I was like shut up and do a better job of mixing. If you want to dance and people watch...this is a great place if you happen to be on Main Street in the great city of Grapevine! :)

Staff is rude.  Must be the small town thing.  DJ is terrible! Also, drinks are way overpriced.  That pretty much sums it up.  Can't believe I've been here twice.

A good place for drinking, but a bad place to eat.

    The good (drinks):
The owner and bartenders are friendly and the pours are good. Our bartender made a great bloody mary. There prices are fair and they have great specials, especially Wednesdays. $2 crowns! + more.

    The bad (food):
The food is hit and miss; the pepperjack cheese sticks, nachos, grilled chicken and wings were really good. The chicken tenders were bad and the brisket tacos were absolutely aweful; they had the texture of rubber and the fat hadn't been trimmed. I order brisket tacos at several places and these were by far the worst I've ever had.

    Overall:
I might go back to drink; their prices, pours, and service are 4-5 stars. The food has been bad on several occasions and with so many good places nearby, stick to the bar menu!

Went here after dinner with a date on Saturday night to have a few drinks and maybe dance a little.  We got there about 10:30 and it was pretty crowded.  My date decided inside was too loud and wanted to sit on the patio, which was nice.  Plenty of flat screens and service was good considering it was pretty crowded.  They were playing alot of 90s and early 00s hip hop, which is right in my wheelhouse.  I didn't get any mixed drinks, so can't comment on them.

As previously mentioned, it is a great place to people watch, and some much better to watch than others.  Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars because there was an extremely heavy douchbag presence, but you're going to deal with that anywhere there are hot women.  I will be back for sure, but definitely not on a date.

Okay, I admit, I'm not much of a club kind of person.  I left that behind years ago, but every once in a while they can be a good place to people watch, and Chill certainly qualifies.  I went with a few friends for a "Thank God I'm divorced" and got their just after 9 on a Friday night.  It was a bit slow, and there was plenty of seating, but before long it was crowded.  Chill isn't all that big so it doesn't take much.

I was surprised to see the varied ages there, and that made the people watching that much more entertaining.  I saw people who were old enough to be my parents, but also a lot that barely looked 21.  There was a bachelorette party there so the male/female ratio was a little skewed, but even taking that into consideration it definitely in the guys favor.

I had two mixed drinks (Capt. & Coke, Vodka Cran) and both were small and really weak, so I switched to beer.  And, the service was just so-so.  We saw the server for the table next to ours a LOT more than we saw ours.

Eat. Drink. Chill. That's their motto. I think it should be Hit Middle Age. Wear Tiny Outfits. Dance. This place has a very eclectic crowd made up of people of all ages...but mostly upper 30s/early 40s. The DJ plays great songs and the bar serves delicious drinks...a wonderful combination for people watching when you combine it with middle aged singles out on the prowl.

They serve my favorite beer on tap and have a HUGE patio....so I always enjoyed it. In fact, I celebrated my last birthday here.

I used to live across the street from this place....Friday and Saturday nights are the nights to go (duh!).  I've seen a lot of crazy things go down...but nothing dangerous. You'll feel safe here and have a great time. It's a must try for a night out with friends!

Skip the food though.....it's nothing special and super salty. Def over hyped with the "executive chef" talk.

Just had a nice evening at Chill - what we love about this place is that they always have great specials ($5.00 appetizers after 10pm and $3-$5 drinks until 8pm plus other daily drink  specials after 8pm. Also, the food is priced just right -- $6-$8 for a hamburger/ $6 pizzas! The wine by glass is also very reasonable - we love it!  Tonight we had absolutely fabulous service from Sam, our waiter...it's been awhile that we've had such great service! We've definitely made this our evening spot when a good drink and decent food are in order.  Oh also, it's kinda funny, but the mixed crowd (think young and old patrons) truly give the place that good ol' Dallas charm - expecially when you see your grandpa busting a move to the cupid shuffle!

review for night life only, as we didn't go for food and just ended up dancing all night.

came here as the 4th stop on a girls night out in grapevine. I work near here, so have been to a number of places, but never chill and we had a great time!  we were a little tipsy, and there was a top40/hip-hop dj, so it just kind of made sense to start dancing!  Yeah i know i know you are in grapevine and in your late (ahem late) 20's, but oh well, no one knows you here!!!

will be back to sit on the patio and will be back to review food (it was pouring down rain, and we ate at esparza's). great for dancing with the girls every now and then.

I have been here a hand ful of times... its right up the street from my house...

Food - I had the fried mushrooms once, they were tasty.. not sure people go here for food tho.

Ladies - lots of Cougars, Im 35, and I think I was on the younger end of the group.

Men - a good mix... a few hardys, older guys, younger guys... guys with diamond jewelry on (remember, Grapevine is not the hub of DFW nitelife)

Music - mega variety, they played Miley Cyrus, Britney, Hip Hop, Rock... it gets bizarre at times... when the cougars want to line dance to Hannah Montana - but its fun to watch.

Free valet parking - Dont forget to tip tho.  Reasonable drink prices. Its not a bad place, but its not the best place.  I would go again.

This eclectic bar on Main Street in Grapevine serves edible food and features some carnation of a "drink special" almost every day. They have some decent bar space inside and a better than average sized courtyard style patio. On the occasions I have been there, the crowd has all age groups represented.

The menu is large and the burgers seem to be item of choice. DON'T plan on ordering dessert unless pretty plain cheesecake is to your liking. The server relayed the chef is not always on site.

Bonus: Bartender Dee pours drinks worth coming back for...

I've ate there a handful of times, but after the first two times I knew not to get my hopes up. Personally I think there menu is definitely sub par for the price they charge on certain entrees, for example the Ahi Tuna especially! I don't believe any items on the menu are fresh, and probably a good portion are microwaved (Okay, I know that's extreme and not true, but order a burger or salad, don't spring for the higher priced entrees). Consider the menu as upscale bar food, if there is such a thing.. HAHA!

Though, I believe the reason a majority of people go there is for the drinks and nightlife atmosphere, in which I'd give them 5 stars. The dance music inside is nice if you're looking to mingle, or the patio is fun to enjoy on a pleasant evening to relax.. Their bar staff is definitely excellent!

Don't go to eat unless you're just getting a burger, or perhaps some small appetizers.

Do go to drink and have fun! :)

I love patios - so long as the sun is setting and there's some kind of breeze going. So I'm an easy sell on Chill! I hung out with my girls there on Saturday night, and got there early enough to snag a table on the patio. We had a great time! Our service was solid - she visited our table just enough and always kept the beverages flowing just right - and that's a compliment for sure! I had one dirty martini and it wasn't fantastic, but I stuck with vodka sours after that, and they were just right! Like lemonade with a punch.

The bruschetta was fan-friggin-tastic! The basalmic vinaigrette added a great touch! I also had the Texas sandwich- a chicken sandwich with bacon and avocado, with sweet potato fries. The fries were VERY good, and the sandwich was good, but it was just missing a little something. Maybe a nice light honey mustard sauce would pull it off nicely.

The place filled in nicely as the evening progressed, and had a great vibe. Lots of people hanging with their friends and still able to have a solid conversation - nice! I think our server said they usually have live music on Thursdays and Fridays, and they have a DJ on Saturdays.
